20221. 8 Northeast states from India to showcase their business opportunities at EXPO2020 Dubai
- The India Pavilion at EXPO2020 Dubai will be hosting the ‘Northeast Fortnight’ from 4th to 17th March 2022. The Northeast state pavilion will be inaugurated on 6th March and the fortnight will witness participation from various representatives of the State, Northeastern Council (NEC) and Ministry of Development of Northeast Region (DONER).
- The visiting delegation will also comprise of senior delegates including Shri. ChandramohanPatowari, Industry Minister of Assam, Shri. Bedu Singh Panth, Minister, Commerce & Industries Department and Tourism & Civil Aviation of Sikkim, Shri. Robert Royte, Minister Tourism and Sports of Mizoram and Shri.Imnatiba Jamir, advisor Industries and Commerce, of Nagaland. The delegation will be actively engaging with business leaders at the Expo during the Northeast Fortnight.
- The objective of the Northeast Fortnight at EXPO2020 Dubai is to showcase the economic potential of the region, highlight the crucial sectors such as tourism and hospitality and to promote the rich cultural heritage including art and culture, foods from these states. To position the region as a developing part of the nation, the delegation will host several sessions aimed to highlight success stories, reforms and sectors of excellence. The startups from these states will also showcase their innovations and key achievements.

20222. Goods reach Assam by new waterway between Ganga-Brahmaputra via B'desh
- The first of the four cargo ships carrying food grains from Bihar's Patna reached at Assam's Pandu on Sunday, linking the new waterway between Brahmaputra River, national waterway-two with the Ganga, national waterway-one, via Bangladesh.
- Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) official said that the first vessel carrying 200 MT of foodgrains for Food Corporation of India (FCI) reached Pandu in Assam's Kamrup Metropolitan district, heralding a new age of inland water transport.
- The second vessel, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, carrying 1,800 MT steel started from Haldia on February 17 and has already reached the Bangladesh border at Dhubri.An official statement said that IWAI is planning to run a fixed schedule sailing between NW-1 and NW-2 heralding a new age of inland water transport for Assam and the northeast region of India.

20223. Over 21,000 take ride on first day of Metro operations
- Currently, trains will be run on two routes: 5-km from Garware college to Vanaz station and 7-km from PCMC to Phugewadi, both with five stations. The minimum fare has been kept at Rs 10 and the maximum fare is Rs 20, while Rs 30 is for a return journey.

20224. Tata Motors sells over 2,200 EVs in February 2022
- Tata Motors has significantly strengthened its position as India's largest EV maker. While total electric car sales saw a strong, almost three-fold growth, from last year, Tata Motors has bettered that too. The company saw a massive 551 per cent growth in EV sales from January 2022.
- The company accounted for 2,262 of the total 2,352 electric cars that were sold in India in February 2022.
- MG Motor India is the second largest EV seller, with 38 units sold. This is sell than the 59 units it sold in January 2022 and the 127 units it sold in February last year
20225. Govt hospitals to soon have rehab centres under J&K Drug De-addiction Policy
- To meet the challenge of rising menace of drug among the youth, Jammu and Kashmir government under its newly framed Drug De-addiction Policy has mulled to establish drug de-addiction and rehabilitation centres in all the district hospitals across the Union Territory.
- These de-addiction centres will be equipped with all facilities under the centrally sponsored scheme. “To curb the rising drug abuse cases and also to rehabilitate the addicts, Jammu and Kashmir Government has proposed to establish drug de-addiction centres in all District Hospitals".
- the government has already introduced Opioid Substitution Therapy (OST) to help the victims of drug abuse but the policy covers social, medical and legal aspects to better address the issue and also lays emphasis on standards of care in de-addiction centres.
20226. भारत इस साल रिकॉर्ड 70 लाख टन गेहूं का करेगा निर्यात, वैश्विक बाजार में कीमतें बढ़ने से मिलेगी मदद
- भारत से इस साल रिकॉर्ड 70 लाख टन गेहूं (Wheat) का निर्यात (Export) होने की उम्मीद है. वैश्विक बाजार में कीमतों (Global Prices) में बढ़ोतरी दुनिया में गेहूं के दूसरे सबसे बड़े उत्पादक (Producer) देश को बाजार में हिस्सेदारी बढ़ाने का मौका देती है.

20227. IOB funding Rs. 1000 Crore for Infrastructure Development in UT of J&K
- As part of the Bank's Business plan to widen Credit Growth and funding towards Infrastructure Development across the nation, Indian Overseas Bank has sanctioned a loan of Rs. 1,000 cr (of which amount disbursed is Rs. 500 cr) to M/s. Jammu and Kashmir Infrastructure Development Finance Corporation Limited (JKIDFC) guaranteed by Union Territory of J&K, towards part funding for completion of the languishing infrastructure projects in J&K and other new infrastructure projects which are a priority for the state.
- Indian Overseas Bank is one of the First Public Sector Banks to lend to Jammu and Kashmir Infrastructure Development Finance Corporation Limited,
- Various projects belonging to various departments like Agriculture Production, Animal Husbandry, Housing & Urban Development, Industries & Commerce Department, Jal Shakti Department, Public Works Department, School Education Department etc. will be completed with this fund.
20228. हंसा-एनजी ने पुद्दुचेरी में समुद्र स्तर का परीक्षण सफलतापूर्वक संपन्न किया
- वैज्ञानिक और औद्योगिक अनुसंधान परिषद के तत्वावधान में बंगलुरु स्थित सीएसआईआर-राष्ट्रीय एयरोस्पेस प्रयोगशालाओं द्वारा डिजाइन की गई तथा विकसित भारत के पहले स्वदेशी फ्लाइंग ट्रेनर हंसा-एनजी ने 19 फरवरी से 5 मार्च, 2022 तक पुद्दुचेरी में समुद्र स्तर परीक्षणों को सफलतापूर्वक संपन्न कर लिया है।
- इस विमान को 155 किमी/घंटा की गति से डेढ़ घंटे में 140 समुद्री मील की दूरी तय करते हुए पुद्दुचेरी के लिए 19 फरवरी, 2022 को उड़ाया गया था।
- सीएसआईआर-एनएएल के निदेशक ने कहा कि कुल 37 उड़ानें और 50 घंटे की उड़ान पूरी हो गई है और डीजीसीए द्वारा टाइप सर्टिफिकेशन प्राप्त करने से पहले कुछ और उड़ानें संचालित की जाएंगी। टाइप सर्टिफिकेशन अप्रैल, 2022 तक पूरा होने की संभावना है और उसके बाद सार्वजनिक / निजी उद्योग के साथ विनिर्माण की पहल की जाएगा जो आत्मनिर्भर भारत के तहत एयरोस्पेस इको सिस्टम को बढ़ाएगा।

- Member of Parliament from Jammu-Poonch Constituency, Jugal Kishore Sharma announced Rs 25 lakh for the development of Sports Stadium at Rehal village in Bishnah area during the inaugural ceremony of T-20 Cricket match and also held a public meeting at Majua
- The Member Parliament announced Rs 35 lakh for the various development works under its MPLAD funds including Rs 25 lakhs for development of Sports Stadium at Rehal.
- Rs 5 lakh for construction of Community Toilet Complex and at Majua and Rs 5 lakh was announced for the construction of waiting shed at cremation ground in Panchayat Rehal Dhamalian.
