20251. J&K enters into new age of developmental trajectory with single window clearance portal.
- Jammu and Kashmir has entered into a new age of developmental trajectory with the integration of ‘Single Clearance Window Portal’ with the National Single Window System (NSWS).
- The launch of single clearance window portal shows the commitment of the government led by Lieutenant Governor, Shri Manoj Sinha to strengthening the industrial ecosystem in a manner that percolates the benefits to all sections of the society in Jammu-Kashmir.
- J&K was the first among the Union Territory to be integrated with NSWS, a 2020 budgetary announcement of the Government of India, is a digital platform for the investors to get approvals for their projects in online mode. While 130 industrial services have been made online on a single-window system, over 160 more services would be integrated this year.
20252. A Scheme To Provide Job Opportunities For Youth Of J&K, A Prime Objective : LG
- In order to provide adequate Job opportunities to the youth of J&K and make them self dependent, the Government of Jammu and Kashmir has started ‘Be Rozgar Se Swarozgar Scheme’.
- The scheme is part of 10-point campaign initiated by government to give a renewed push to the implementation of employment and other beneficiary oriented schemes on the ground.
- The objective of the 10 point campaign is to achieve quantifiable results within specific timelines, in an effort to touch the lives of ordinary citizens at the grassroots level Under ‘Be Rozgar Se Swarozgar Scheme’ scheme, the youth of J&K will get a chance to get employment.
- This Scheme is launched to provide job opportunities to youth who are struggling to earn their living. It is a targeted campaign to identify and provide self employment to at least 5 persons in every Panchayat and overall two lakh youth in the entire UT.
20253. PM Modi Dedicates 150 Electric Buses For Public Transport In Maharashtra's Pune
- these buses are manufactured by Olectra Green a company headquarter in Hyderabad
- The 12-meter air-conditioned buses have a seating capacity of 33 passengers and are equipped with CCTV cameras to ensure the safety of the commuters, an emergency button and USB sockets for each seat.
- The lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery installed in the bus enables it to travel around 200 kms on a single charge, based on traffic and passenger load conditions, the company said, adding, the high-power AC and DC charging system enables the battery to recharge in 3-4 hours fully.
20254. Aeroponic Potato Farming: बिहार के किसान अब हवा में उगाएंगे आलू, पांच गुणा तक बढ़ जाएगा उत्पादन
- बिहार के कोसी क्षेत्र में बड़े पैमाने पर आलू की खेती होती है, परंतु अब परंपरागत तरीक़े से हो रही आलू की खेती के बदले हवा में आलू की खेती होगी।
- हरियाणा के करनाल स्थित आलू प्रौद्योगिकी केंद्र से आलू खेती की नई तकनीक का अध्ययन कर लौटी अगवानपुर कृषि अनुसंधान केंद्र के विज्ञानियों ने इसके लिए तैयारी प्रारंभ कर दी है। बिना जमीन और मिट्टी के एरोपेनिक तकनीक से हवा में आलू की खेती से दस गुणा अधिक पैदावार होगा।
- इस तकनीक का ईजाद हरियाणा के करनाल जिले में स्थित आलू प्रौद्योगिकी केंद्र द्वारा की गई है। इस तकनीक थर्माेकाल प्लास्टिक आदि के सहयोग से आलू की हवा में खेती की जाएगी। इससे दस पैदवार में दस गुणा बढ़ोतरी होगी, जिसे तीन महीने तक तोड़ा जा सकेगा।

20255. Tripura CM Flags Off 16 Ambulances, Says Referral Health Cases From State Declined
- While launching 16 ambulances in Agartala on Friday, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb asserted that referral cases from the state have reduced significantly as his government has developed and upgraded the state’s health infrastructure.
- During the flagging off ceremony, CM Deb said, "Medical expenses are burning holes in the pockets of Tripura people. But, the government is trying to introduce all kinds of advanced treatment here in Agartala so that no one has to go out for treatment. Recently, critical open-heart surgery was performed on a 10-years old patient."
- Speaking on the new ambulances, he said, " These new 16 patient transport ambulances are set to start providing service to the people of Tripura from today and 9 ambulances are already providing service since COVID-19 pandemic across the state. A sum of Rs 2 crore 50 lakh 24 thousand has been spent for purchasing the ambulances equipped with oxygen support and advanced stretchers."

- Onetracker Technologies is in the process of setting up a development centre in Guwahati, Assam. 20257. Assam and Meghalaya Border Dispute: Border issues with Assam to be fixed in 6 locations soon, says Meghalaya governor.
- Governor Satya Pal Malik of Meghalaya expressed optimism on Friday that the state’s border dispute with Assam would be settled soon in at least six areas of contention. On the opening day of the budget session, Malik told the assembly that the state government is focused on improving service delivery in the health and education sectors.
- Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma and his Assam colleague Himanta Biswa Sarma spoke on the subject multiple times in the previous six months. They decided to address the issue in six sites – Tarabari, Gizang, Hahim, Boklapara, Khanapara-Pillangkata, and Ratacherra. According to the governor, both chief ministers reached a deal in this regard on January 29 in Guwahati, and it was sent to the Ministry of Home Affairs for further examination.

20258. Chowna Mein inaugurates Bamboo Treatment Plant at Rain Forest Research Institute in Jorhat
- Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister, Chowna Mein inaugurated a Bamboo Treatment Plant ‘Vacuum Pressure Impregnation Unit’ and a Herbarium called ‘Gustav Mann Herbarium’ at Rain Forest Research Institute in Jorhat.
- The Herbarium is named after the German Botanist Gustav Mann who served as Conservator of Forest in Assam from the year 1870 to 1885 and first started the systematic collection of plants in those years. His collection of plants formed the nucleus of ‘Assam Forest Herbarium’ housed in Shillong.
- On the occasion, Mein released a book titled, ‘Arunachal Pradesh Forestry – Glimpses from the Past’ compiled by Dr R S C Jayaraj, Director of RFRI Jorhat and Ms Clerissa Handique, a Project Assistance in RFRI. The book has a collection of abstracts from the Arunachal Forest News: Volume 1-5 published during the year 1978 to 1987.
- In his interaction with the Scientists, he congratulated and complemented the scientists for the publication of their research works and said that the outcome of their research works which is published in the book form or pamphlets which will greatly benefit the people of the region.

20259. Training on Fish Farming Held In BTC.
- , the North East Regional Centre of National Fishery Development Board organized a three-day long training on fish farming in the premises of Kendukalai office at Kalaigaon in Udalguri district under the Bodo Territorial Council (BTC), to popularize the concept of fish farming among the fish farmers of the Scheduled Caste community.
- The training programme was formally inaugurated by Fishery Assistant Commissioner Nilakhsi Baishya. After that, Ashim Borah, Officer in-charge of National Fishery Development Board welcomed the participants and explained the objectives of the training programme.
- A total of 50 fish farmers took part in this training programme. The function concluded with singing a song about fish farming by Subhas Saharia, Field Demonstrator of Udalguri Fishery Development Office.

20260. NF Railway to Introduce Vistadome Service Between Guwahati to Mendipathar in Meghalaya.
- In order to boost the tourism industry in the northeast, the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) is mulling of introducing a Vistadome service between Assam and Meghalaya.
- The Vistadome Express has a special type of railway coach which includes large window panes, a glass roof, 180-degree pushback rotatable chairs, observation decks, etc among many other features which enhance the travel experience of passengers by a considerable margin.
- Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnav said that it has been the endeavour of the Railways to promote the rich heritage of the Northeast and present its beautiful culture to the whole world. He said that five 'Vistadome' services have already been started with the aim of promoting tourism in the region.
