- मध्यप्रदेश के भोपाल के रहने वाले सुमिरन पांड्या ने कम्प्यूटर साइंस से इंजीनियरिंग की है। अभी अहमदाबाद में हैंडमेड क्राफ्ट का ऑनलाइन स्टोर चलाते हैं। देश के साथ-साथ विदेशों में भी उनके प्रोडक्ट की डिमांड है। हर महीने 400-500 प्रोडक्ट के ऑर्डर आते हैं। सालाना एक करोड़ रुपए की कमाई हो रही है।
- हम अलग-अलग गांवों में जाते थे और वहां के कारीगरों से मिलते थे, उनके काम को देखते थे, उसकी पूरी प्रोसेस समझते थे। इस तरह हमने कई गांवों का दौरा किया। उनसे काफी कुछ सीखने को मिला। हैंडमेड प्रोडक्ट और उनकी खूबियों को जानने का मौका मिला।
- इसके बाद हमने गाथा नाम से एक ब्लॉग बनाया। हम जहां भी जाते थे, वहां के हैंडमेड क्राफ्ट और उसे बनाने वाले के बारे में स्टोरी तैयार करके उसे ब्लॉग पर पोस्ट करते थे। उस समय सोशल मीडिया और इंटरनेट का इतना क्रेज नहीं था। फिर भी काफी लोगों ने हमारी स्टोरी को पसंद किया। कई लोगों ने हमें कॉल व मैसेज कर प्रोडक्ट के बारे में जानकारी मांगी। कई लोगों ने कहा कि वे इस प्रोडक्ट को खरीदना चाहते हैं।

- With practices like waste management, driving an electric car, growing organic food in her front yard and harnessing rainwater and sun, Soumya and her family in Dehradun have switched to a sustainable lifestyle that is not only a relief to her pocket but also the environment.
- Instead of constructing a new house or shifting into a flat, Soumya and her husband, Dr Raman Kumar decided to restore a 60-year-old house. In the process, they vowed to not send construction waste to the dump yard. All the debris was reused to lay the foundation of other buildings.
- The underground rainwater harvesting tank in the home can store up to 20,000 litres of rainwater – that suffices the needs of 6-7 people. The captured rainwater is filtered and then used for potable and non-potable needs. The family has stopped taking water from the administration completely. The surplus water recharges groundwater tables.

- 19 वर्षीय इंद्रजीत ग्रेजुएशन के छात्र हैं लेकिन इसके साथ ही, उनकी एक और पहचान है और वह है एक आविष्कारक-उद्यमी की। बचपन से ही मशीनों को समझने और बनाने के शौक़ीन रहे इंद्रजीत ने अब तक कई ऐसे आविष्कार किए हैं जो जनसाधारण के लिए मददगार हैं। पहले तो उन्होंने पहाड़ी क्षेत्रों में बच्चों की पैदल आने-जाने की समस्या को समझते हुए सोलर साइकिल बनाई और फिर गाँव में चिरौंजी के किसानों की मदद के लिए पोर्टेबल चिरोंजी डेकोर्टिकेटर मशीन भी बनाई है।
- पुरानी साइकिल और सेकंड हैंड चीज़ें इस्तेमाल कर बनी उनकी सोलर साइकिल में उस समय लगभग तीन हज़ार रूपये की लागत आयी थी। उन्होंने साइकिल को इस तरह मॉडिफाइड किया कि यह सोलर और इलेक्ट्रिक दोनों तरीके से चल सके। सोलर पैनल के साथ यह साइकिल 30 किमी प्रतिघंटा के हिसाब से चलती है और बतौर इलेक्ट्रिक, एक चार्जिंग में यह साइकिल (Solar cum Electric Bicycle ) लगभग 60 किमी तक चल सकती है।
- इंस्पायर अवॉर्ड जीतने के बाद उन्हें जापान के Sakura Exchange Program in Science में भी जाने का मौका मिला। हालाँकि, इतने सम्मान मिलने के बाद भी उन्हें कहीं से कोई आर्थिक मदद नहीं मिल पाई। न ही उनके इनोवेशन को आगे बढ़ाने के लिए और न ही उनकी पढ़ाई के लिए।

- इसी को देखते हुए बिहार के औरंगाबाद जिले के बरौली गाँव के रहने वाले अभिषेक ने साल 2011 में एक मैनेजमेंट प्रोफेशनल की नौकरी को छोड़कर, अपने गाँव में खेती करने का फैसला किया। तब उनकी सैलरी 11 लाख रुपए प्रति वर्ष थी।फिलहाल, वह अपने 20 एकड़ पैतृक जमीन पर धान, गेहूँ जैसे परम्परागत फसलों के अलावा, तुलसी, लेमनग्रास, रजनीगंधा, गिलोय, जरबेरा, मोरिंगा, गेंदा फूल जैसे कई सुगंधित और औषधीय पौधों की प्राकृतिक रूप से खेती करते हैं, जिससे उन्हें हर साल 20 लाख रुपए से अधिक कमाई होती है।
- अभिषेक को खेती कार्यों में उनके उल्लेखनीय योगदान के लिए 2014 में बिहार कृषि विश्वविद्यालय, सबौर से सर्वश्रेष्ठ किसान का अवार्ड मिला था। इसके अलावा 2016 में उन्हें प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने कृषि रत्न पुरस्कार से भी सम्मानित किया था।
- अभिषेक कहते हैं, “मैं अपने जमीन के लगभग एक चौथाई हिस्से में औषधीय पौधों की खेती करता हूँ। औषधीय पौधों की खेती मैंने इस विचार के साथ शुरू किया, क्योंकि इसे एक बार लगाने के बाद 2-3 वर्षों तक सोचना नहीं पड़ता है। साथ ही, इनकी पत्तियां भारी बारिश और ओलावृष्टि में भी बर्बाद नहीं होती हैं और यदि 20-25 दिनों के बाद भी पानी मिले तो ये पौधे सक्षम होते हैं।”

- उन्होंने अब तक अब तक 45 प्रकार की चाय बनाई है, इन सभी वैराइटी में कुछ खास मसाले भी डाले जाते हैं, जो उनकी सीक्रेट रेसिपी हैं, वह इसे किसी से शेयर नहीं करते हैं
- प्यार-मोहब्बत वाली चाय में आधा दूध, आधा पानी, इलायची फ्लेवर, रोज पैडल मिलाकर चाय सर्व की जाती है, ये लड़के-लड़कियों को दी जाती है, इसे बेहद पसंद किया जा रहा है
- जगदीश कहते हैं, “मैंने लोगों को 10-12 तरह की चाय पेश की। इसमें मसाला चाय, तंदूरी चाय, मिंट चाय, चॉकलेट चाय, मम्मी के हाथ वाली चाय, मर्दों वाली चाय, प्यार-मोहब्बत वाली चाय, उधार वाली चाय आदि।” वह बताते हैं, ‘चाय पीने से पहले ऑफिस के लोग हंसते थे, इसके बाद चाय के बारे में पूछते थे।’ ये NRI चायवाला के ये कुछ अनूठे फ्लेवर हैं, जो लोगों में दिलचस्पी जगाते हैं। चाय की इन सभी वैराइटी में कुछ खास मसाले भी डाले जाते हैं, जो उनकी सीक्रेट रेसिपी हैं। वह इसे किसी से शेयर नहीं करते हैं।

- Harish Dharamdasani, a 30-year-old second-generation entrepreneur, runs a successful footwear business on Flipkart. His brand Layasa clocks a monthly revenue of Rs. 3 crore on the e-commerce platform. Unlike many businesses that are facing uncertainties as a result of the pandemic.
- Harish says he is positive about good sales prospects during this festive season. “Ever since the lockdown, we have seen an increase in our customer base. So we are expecting good business this festive season too.” His preparations to meet the rise in festive demand began six months ago.
- Harish says that the decision to start an online business on Flipkart has been a significant milestone that changed his life’s trajectory. “Today, I am happy and satisfied with the business I have built. I take pride in having won the Top Seller Award from Flipkart in Agra. But, my biggest milestone is that Layasa is a well-known brand. People may not know me, but they recognise the brand. Sometimes it takes decades for businesses to become a brand, and with Flipkart, I was able to do this in just five years. And, this is phenomenal according to me .”

- Union Minister Kiren Rijiju on Sunday called upon youths to come out of the self-centred attitude and work for a pan Arunachal Pradesh identity where every tribe gets equal opportunities.He asked the youth not to think of only their own community but for others too so that the state moves ahead.

- Ladakh will very soon have a snow sculpture as a new tourist attraction. The snow sculpture will also create job opportunities for the locals.
- The LG said that once the snow art is properly established in the region, Ladakh will start the Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival in some years. Ladakh concluded its very first Ice and Snow-Sculpture Workshop on February 11, 2022 which was organised by Kangding Snow and Ice Sculpture Association along with Ladakh Police at Sangtakchan.
- During the concluding ceremony, the LG said, “I see no logic in leaving Ladakh in winters. This is the time to earn here. My theory all along has been that while summers are great here (Ladakh), I would like to say that winters are greater, much better.”

- The University of Kashmir has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Mumbai to undertake some key employability, entrepreneurship, literacy and student engagement programmes in Kashmir in next three years.
