20071. Delhi NCR gets its longest zipline in an army theme park
- Delhi NCR has got its longest yet zipline, just 30 minutes' drive away from Gurugram -- at Delta 105, an army theme park in Manesar, Haryana.
- The zipline extends for a whopping 224 metres, starting at 40m height which makes it the highest zipline in Delhi NCR. It will accommodate two people at once.
- Delta 105 is an army theme park which allows people to experience the grueling training that soldiers go through.

20073. Ahmedabad-based EV start-up announces its radial flux motor
- Ahmedabad-based electric vehicle start-up Matter has announced the development of its new, high-speed mid-torque radial flux motor christened 'Matter Drive1.0 Motor', which it claims comes with an integrated intelligent thermal management system. The motor will debut in the company's first electric two-wheeler expected to be launched this year.

20075. Byju’s founder-CEO injects 50% funds in $800-million round
- Edtech startup Byju’s has raised $800 million in a fresh funding round led by Sumeru Ventures, Vitruvian Partners, and BlackRock. Half of the round’s amount came from the company’s founder and CEO, Byju Raveendran, who made a personal investment worth $400 million in the company.

20076. Indian Motorcycle unveils new electric bike called eFTR Hooligan
- Indian Motorcycles has taken the wraps off the eFTR Hooligan and priced it at USD 4,000 (approx. Rs 3 lakh). The e-bike is built in collaboration with Super 73, a California-based electric bicycle manufacturer.
- Now, the eFTR Hooligan is not completely electric and features pedals for versatility. With its removable, 960 kWh battery, the e-bike offers a claimed 120km in pedal-assist mode. However, with only the throttle pinned, the eFTR Hooligan can supposedly be ridden up to 64km.
- the e-bike offers a max speed of 45kmph in Class 3 Mode. That’s not all, Indian is also offering an Off-Road mode that turns up the power to 2000 watts, offering speeds over 45kmph.
20077. IIT Guwahati and IDT ONGC signs technology licensing agreement with Softdrill Solutions
- IIT Guwahati’s researchers have developed a novel Decision Support System for oil and gas drilling under a collaborative R and D project funded by the Institute of Drilling Technology, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited.
- The system aims to reduce the non-productive time during exploration and drilling projects in the oil and gas industry.
- It is based on the application of AI/ML and hybrid model-based diagnostics and data analytics algorithms. The research team is led by professor Senthilmurugan Subbiah, chemical engineering department, IIT Guwahati.
20078. HAL Begins Production Of India’s 5th Gen Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA)
- In collaboration with the DRDO’s Aeronautical Development Agency, India’s state-owned aerospace and defence corporation Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has begun producing India’s Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA).
- With the start of production activity, the AMCA programme entered a critical phase. The plan calls for the Indian Air Force (IAF) and Indian Navy to be equipped with a 5.5 Generation twin-engine stealth fighter.
- While HAL and ADA will handle the design and development, commercial defence companies will be involved in the production of the combat jet. The advanced stealth fighter will be a multirole fighter capable of air dominance, ground strike, enemy air defence suppression, and electronic warfare tasks.
- AMCA has a top speed of almost 2,600 kilometres per hour (Mach 2.15), as well as a combat range of 1,620 kilometres. In the non-stealth form, the fighter will be equipped with a 23 mm cannon and 14 hardpoints to carry weaponry weighing 6,500 kgs.
20079. ISRO Will Launch 75 Satellites Into Space Made by Indian Students to Celebrate India's 75 Years of Independence
- India’s 75th Independence Day will be celebrated this year and the Indian Academia plans to commemorate this marvelous occasion with flamboyancy. In association with Indian Space Research Organization and the Indian Congress Technology Association the 75th year of independence will be celebrated with the launch of 75 nano-satellites and that’s not all.

- From 16th August 2022, to 2023, these 75 nano-satellites will be launched into space to gather data and send it back to the ground stations.
20080. Exports from India hit $3 billion on Amazon
- Over 1 lakh Indian exporters are now selling globally through Amazon’s e-commerce exports programme ‘Global Selling’, and they have surpassed $3 billion in cumulative exports.
- Delhi NCR, Jaipur, Mumbai, Surat, and Bengaluru are the top 5 cities with maximum exporters on the programme. Exporters are showcasing over 140 million Made in India products to Amazon customers in over 200 countries.
- Amazon India aim to enable $10 billion in e-commerce by 2025 and contribute to overall exports from India.
