19981. India's First Electric Highway Between Delhi And Jaipur My Dream: Gadkari
- Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on 15 march said making India's first electric highway between Delhi and Jaipur is his dream.
- Addressing an event, Gadkari further said so far, the government has received 47 proposals to set up ropeway cables in Manipur, Sikkim, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Kashmir.
- Of this, Rs 1.34 lakh crore will be allocated to the National Highways Authority of India ( NHAI), which is primarily responsible for the development of NHs and expressways across the country.

- रौनक ने 2016 में नंदन टेरी की शुरुआत की थी, और लगभग सात वर्षों की अवधि में, उन्होंने कंपनी को लाभदायक बनाने के अलावा, 538.52 करोड़ रुपये (वित्त वर्ष 21 में) के कारोबार तक पहुंचने में कामयाबी हासिल की।

19986. Licious raises $150 mn to invest in technology and strategic acquisitions
- Licious, India’s largest tech-first, fresh animal protein brand, has raised $150 million in a Series F2 funding round.
- This round of fundraise comes just 6 months after the company became the first direct-to-consumer (D2C) unicorn or a startup with over $1 billion valuation in the country.
- Licious was founded by Hanjura, a Bangalore University science graduate, along with Gupta, a chartered accountant, after a poor meat-buying experience. After successfully testing its tech and business model, Licious launched its service in 2015.
19987. IIT-K’s ‘Bhoomi’ to help in efficient waste mgmt
- IIT Kanpur-incubated company, has developed an automatic composting machine known as ‘BHOOMI’, in collaboration with Imagineering Lab, IIT-Kanpur, headed by Professor J Ram Kumar (Department of Mechanical Engineering).
- BHOOMI stands for Bio-composting of Horticulture and Organic waste into Manure Indigenously. The Research & Development for the device has been supported by Engineer’s India Limited. T
- The device is equipped with advanced features like carbon filters, shredders, air pumps, solar panels, which systematically convert waste into manure in just 10-20 days. The process is more convenient and rapid than the conventional technologies.
- Agnys Waste Management Private Limited is a company incubated at the Startup Incubation and Innovation Centre (SIIC), IIT Kanpur, and incorporated in 2018. It is classified as a non-government company that works in the field of sustainable waste management. Founded by an IIT-Kanpur graduate Hari Shankar, the company aims to build a clean, green, and sustainable environment for the society.

- Karnataka IT Minister C N Ashwath Narayan launched India's first ever digital water data bank ‘AQVERIUM’, formed by AquaKraft Group Ventures.
- The Digital water data bank also provides insights and evidence from research and analytics thereby providing fundamental reliable information for tackling water pollution.
- Launching the digital startup of the company that is headquartered in Bengaluru, C N Ashwath Narayan said this is a unique innovation combining sustainable and green technologies along with information technology, skill development and entrepreneurship.

19989. India’s first post office cafe opens in Kolkata
- India’s first post office cafe. Siuli, the parcel cafe, housed in the spectacular General Post Office of Kolkata, doesn’t need much to charm its patrons.
- It is being called the 'Parcel Cafe' (Express Photo by Shashi Ghosh) Indeed, Siuli the parcel cafe, has a well-appointed panel counter that customers can make use of which also houses a gift and curio shop.

19990. Delhi: 100 EV charging stations to be operational by June 27
- The Delhi government will initiate operation of 100 electric vehicle charging stations with 500 points all across the national capital by June 27
- Delhi government brought an electric vehicle policy aiming that of the total vehicles plying in the city, 25% will be electric vehicles, in the next five years.
- Under the electric vehicle policy, it was announced to install one charging station at every 3 km all across Delhi and it was scientifically mapped throughout Delhi so that charging stations can be installed in every area.
