41. Archaeological remains of medieval temple found near railway station in Odisha
- The archaeological remains of a medieval era temple have been discovered by the Odisha chapter of Indian National Trust for Art & Cultural Heritage (INTACH) in close vicinity of a railway station at Purushottampur Sasana village in Badachana block of the Jajpur district.
- The temple ruins, near the Dhanmandal Railway Station, lay scattered in an area of four acres at the base of a small hillock, a little away from the railway siding.
- The ruins are suggestive of a large temple complex that had crumbled down with the passage of time, said project coordinator, intact.

42. Temple existed at Gyanvapi: Hindu side cites ASI survey
- The western wall of the Gyanvapi mosque located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, is the remaining part of a pre-existing Hindu temple, says the ground penetrating radar (GPR) survey report of the structure prepared by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI)
- The ASI report concluded that it can be said there existed a Hindu temple prior to the construction of the existing structure, that is the mosque.
- The western wall of the Gyanvapi mosque existing structure is the remaining part of a pre-existing Hindu temple.

43. Preserved temples from the Badami Chalukya era found in India
- Archaeologists from the Public Research Institute for History, Archaeology and Heritage (PRIHAH) have announced the discovery of two temples belonging to the Badami Chalukya era near Mudimanikyam village in Telangana's Nalgonda district.
- According to PRIHAH, both temples have been discovered in excellent preservation and date from between AD 543 to 750.

44. उत्तराखंड सरकार ने 16 मंदिरों के कायाकल्प के लिए खोला खजाना, 9 मंदिरों का होगा नवीनीकरण
- उत्तराखंड प्रदेश सरकार द्वारा मानसखंड मंदिर माला मिशन योजना के तहत कुमाऊं क्षेत्र के प्रसिद्ध 16 मंदिरों को नया रूप देने के लिए शुरू में 9 मंदिरों पर नवीकरण का काम किया जाएगा।
- सर्वप्रथम अल्मोड़ा जिले में जागेश्वर धाम और नंदा देवी मंदिर, नैनीताल जिले में नैना देवी और कैंची धाम, चंपावत जिले में पाताल रुद्रेश्वर और मां बाराही देवी, पिथौरागढ़ जिले में पाताल भुवनेश्वर और हाटकालिका मंदिर, बागेश्वर जिले में बैजनाथ मंदिर इन 9 मंदिरों में निर्माण कार्य सम्प्नन किया जाएगा।
- मानसखंड मंदिर माला मिशन के तहत निर्माण कार्यों में सभी मंदिरों के लिए पार्किंग, रोशनी की उच्त व्यवस्था, आस्था पथ का निर्माण, वहां पहुंचने वाले मार्गों का पक्का निर्माण शामिल है।

45. जम्मू से वैष्णो देवी धाम के लिए हेलीकॉप्टर सेवा शुरू
- जम्मू कश्मीर में जम्मू हवाई अड्डे से माता वैष्णो देवी धाम के लिए 25 जून 2024 को हेलीकॉप्टर सेवा शुरू की गयी। यह सेवा मंदिर में आने वाले तीर्थयात्रियों को बेहतर सुविधाएं प्रदान करने के निरंतर प्रयासों का हिस्सा है।
- निजी सेवा को प्रायोगिक आधार पर दो उड़ानों के साथ शुरू किया गया है, जिसकी लागत 35,000 रुपये प्रति यात्री है, जिसमें पंछी से भवन तक बैटरी कार सेवा, दर्शन और भैरव मंदिर तक रोपवे टिकट शामिल है।
- दूसरा पैकेज अगले दिन वापसी की सुविधा देता है, जिसका शुल्क 60,000 रुपये प्रति व्यक्ति है। इस सेवा में विशेष प्रार्थना में भाग लेना भी शामिल है।

46. Devotees flock Alarnath temple on third day of 'Anasara', ‘Know importance of Alarnath shrine’
- On the third day of the 'Anasara' or quarantine period at the Alarnath temple in Puri, Odisha, devotees thronged the Puri temple. The holy trinity appears at the 13th century Alarnath temple during Anasara, and visiting Lord Jagannath during the illness of the trinity is believed to bring good fortune and well-being.
- The temple was founded by the royal Alwar dynasty of Rajasthan and was named Alwarnath, which later became Alarnath over time. It houses a standing idol of Lord Alarnath, a four-armed Lord Vishnu made of black stone.
- In the sanctum sanctorum of the temple, there is a standing idol of Lord Vishnu with four arms, holding a conch, chakra, mace and padma. The idol is made of black chlorite. The lord's vehicle Garuda can be seen kneeling at the feet of the deity with folded hands and standing in a prayer posture.

47. काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर में टूटा रिकॉर्ड: सात साल में 66.65 करोड़ बढ़ी आय, ढाई वर्ष में आए 16.22 करोड़ श्रद्धालु
- उत्तर प्रदेश में वाराणसी के श्री काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर की आय में रिकॉर्ड बढ़ोतरी हुई, मंदिर की आय सात साल पहले 20.14 कराेड़ रुपये थी, जो अब बढ़कर 86.79 करोड़ रुपये हो गई। इसी तरह श्रद्धालुओं की संख्या की बढ़ोत्तरी के साथ 66.65 करोड़ रुपये आय भी बढ़ी है।
- श्री काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर न्यास के मुख्य कार्यपालक अधिकारी ने बताया कि आय में मंदिर का चढ़ावा, दान, टिकट और परिसर में नवनिर्मित भवनों के किराये को शामिल किया गया है।
- मई 2024 तक मंदिर में 16.22 करोड़ श्रद्धालु दर्शन-पूजन कर चुके हैं। 2017-18 मंदिर की आय 20.14 कराेड़ रुपये थी, वह 2023-24 में बढ़कर 86.79 करोड़ हो गई।

48. अब 100 नहीं 250 करोड़ रुपये से होगा मंदिर का विस्तारीकरण
- हिमाचल प्रदेश में ऊना के प्रसिद्ध शक्तिपीठ माता श्री चिंतपूर्णी मंदिर के विस्तारीकरण की प्रक्रिया दोबारा से शुरू की गई है। जिसमें दरबार को विकसित करने के लिए 250 करोड़ रुपये की राशि प्रस्तावित की गयी।
- मंदिर के विस्तारीकरण का दायरा 2791 वर्ग मीटर होगा, जो कि पहले 1115 वर्ग मीटर था। अब सिरे से 1676 वर्ग मीटर एरिया को जोड़कर विस्तारीकरण किया जाएगा। जिससे श्रद्धालुओं को बेहतरीन सुविधाएं मंदिर परिसर में मिलेंगीऔर मंदिर का विस्तारीकरण होने से मंदिर भी नए स्वरूप में नजर आएगा।
- श्री चिंतपूर्णी मंदिर में भक्तों और आगंतुकों की सुविधा के लिए प्रसाद योजना के तहत मंदिर में आधुनिक तरीके से तीन मंजिला भवन का निर्माण किया जाएगा। श्रद्धालुओं के नए भवन में सामान को सुरक्षित तरीके से रखने के लिए लॉकर की सुविधा रहेगी।

49. हनुमान मंदिर में असामाजिक तत्वों ने की तोड़फोड़, पुलिस जांच में जुटी
- मध्य प्रदेश में हरदा जिले के प्राचीन हनुमान मंदिर में अज्ञात असामाजिक तत्वों ने मंदिर में घुसकर हनुमान मूर्ति को खडित किया। ग्रामीणों के मंदिर में पूजा करने पहुंचने पर मूर्ति के पास बिखरा हुआ सामान मिला और मूर्ति पर लकड़ी ईट मारी गयी थी।
- मंदिर की घटना पर ग्रामीणों द्वारा पुलिस प्रशासन से अज्ञात आरोपियों की गिरफ्तारी और कठोर कार्यवाही की मांग की गयी।
- सिराली पुलिस सहित राजस्व विभाग की टीम ने मौके पर पहुंचकर जांच शुरू की।

50. Palani temple gets e-buses for devotees to circumambulate
- Two electric buses were flagged off by the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department at the Palani temple in Dindigul, Tamil Nadu, to enable devotees to circumambulate the temple. These buses will facilitate senior citizens and people with disabilities to circumambulate the temple.
- The temple administration provides free transportation for devotees through battery-operated vehicles besides electric buses. Recognizing the challenges posed by the harsh sun, the administration has installed 31 coir mats spanning 3,100 feet in Giriveethi and key areas of the temple.
- A permanent first aid treatment center was set up by the temple administration at the hill temple at a cost of Rs 25.59 lakh, which also provided an ambulance equipped with advanced medical facilities at a cost of Rs 23 lakh.
