21. मंदिर से मूर्तियां चोरी, कुछ खंडित भी मिलीं, ग्रामीणों में आक्रोश
- उत्तर प्रदेश में सीतापुर के बालाजी का मंदिर में अराजकतत्वों ने 27 जून 2024 की रात मंदिर से दो मूर्तियों को चुराने के साथ, कुछ मूर्तियों को खंडित भी कर दिया।
- बालाजी भगवान की मूर्ति के खंडित होने की सूचना पर बड़ी संख्या में श्रद्धालु मंदिर परिसर के बाहर इकट्ठा हो गए। ग्रामीणों ने बताया कि किसी भी तरह का कोई विवाद मंदिर को लेकर नहीं था मंदिर की स्थापना सभी ग्रामीणों के सहयोग से की गई थी।
- मंदिर से लड्डू गोपाल व सालिक राम भगवान की मूर्ति भी गायब है, और मंदिर में स्थापित माता की मूर्ति के वस्त्र भी फाड़ कर फेंक दिए गए है। जानकारी मिलते ही क्षेत्राधिकारी पुलिस ने मौके पर पहुँचकर जांच की और कार्रवाई का आश्वासन दिया।

22. TTD to complete Thyagaraya Nagar temple expansion works by 2028 by spending Rs 150 crore
- Tirupati Tirumala Devasthanam in Andhra Pradesh to carry out expansion works of the famous Lord Venkateswara Swamy temple at Thyagaraya Nagar, the commercial hub of Chennai. The TTD Trust Board resolved to carry out the expansion works of the temple after the proposal was submitted by the Local Advisory Committee for Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
- According to the chairman of the TTD LAC for Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, the Tirupati Trust requires a total of Rs 150 crore to complete the proposed expansion works. The T Nagar temple, which attracts huge crowds of devotees every year, is the second highest revenue-generating temple after the Tirumala temple within the TTD.
- The Tamil Nadu and Puducherry LAC has so far raised a total donation of Rs 22 crore from donors and is in the process of raising the balance amount of Rs 53 crore from donors. Once the land acquisition is complete and handed over to the TTD, the temple trust will start the expansion works, which are expected to be completed by the end of 2028.

23. Master plan of Rs 424 crore for upgrading facilities at Badrinath temple: Uttarakhand
- On June 28, 2024, a master plan of Rs 424 crore was prepared by the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand for upgrading the facilities at the Badrinath temple in the state. Under which development work is in progress.
- Uttarakhand has many religious places and being located in the Himalayan region, it is ecologically sensitive, it is a big challenge for the government to address environmental concerns and the need for better facilities for pilgrims coming from all over the country.
- Ongoing and proposed projects to enhance road connectivity in Uttarakhand were discussed, with the Chief Minister emphasizing the importance of improving road infrastructure in the state.

24. Pics: Ancient Caves, Temples Found In Madhya Pradesh Tiger Reserve
- The Archaeological Survey of India has found ancient caves and temples, remains of Buddhist structures and mural inscriptions bearing names of cities like Mathura and Kaushambi in old scripts during its recent exploration at Bandhavgarh in Madhya Pradesh.
- During the exercise, the ASI's Jabalpur Circle also reported many ancient sculptures, including large monolithic ones of various avatars of Lord Vishnu like 'Varaha' and 'Matsya', and "board games made in natural caves".
- A votive stupa and a Buddhist pillar fragment containing miniature stupa carving, which roughly date back to 2nd-3rd century AD have been documented as part of this exploration, according to information shared by the ASI.

- The General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra said the excavations at Ram Janmabhoomi construction site in Ayodhya , Uttar Pradeshuncovered remnants of ancient temple.
- ASI Report clearly says that there was a “massive temple” structure below the Babri Masjid which was demolished in 1992 by Kar Sevaks of Sangh Parivar. The report says the temple structures date back to the tenth century.
- The Report details the finding of more than 50 pillars with Hindu scriptures, Hindu religious divine couples, lotus motifs, etc.

26. Remains of 13th century temple found in Odisha's Jajpur
- The base and other archaeological remains of a 13th-century temple have been unearthed in a village in Odisha's Jajpur district, about 70 km from here.
- The ruins of the temple were located scattered over four acres at the base of a small hillock at Purushottampur Sasana village in Badachana block of the district, a little away from the railway siding of Dhanamandal station, it said.
- Considering its iconography, the temple is likely to have been constructed around the 13th/14th century C.E., the period when the Eastern Ganga Dynasty held sway over the region.

27. APSARA Authority Undertakes Restoration at Neak Poan Temple
- Cambodia’s Phnom Penh The APSARA National Authority is currently restoring the stairs and floors at the Neak Poan Temple, situated in the Angkor Archaeological Park in Siem Reap province. This effort is part of a broader project to preserve the integrity of the temple.
- According to release issued by the APSARA National Authority on 26 June 2024 , the restoration work focuses on the eastern, northern, and western shrines of the temple. The Department of Conservation of Monuments and Preventive Archaeology is leading the project, with a dedicated team of technicians from the Department of Temple Preservation and Archaeology.
- This initiative is critical for maintaining the historical and architectural significance of Neak Poan Temple, known for its unique structure and historical value within the Angkor complex.

28. बड़ाग्रां में देवता वीरनाथ के नवनिर्मित मंदिर की प्रतिष्ठा
- हिमाचल प्रदेश में कुल्लू के लगघाटी बड़ाग्रां में देवता वीरनाथ के नवनिर्मित मंदिर की 27 जून 2024 की सुबह देवविधि के साथ प्रतिष्ठा की गयी। प्रतिष्ठा में देवताओं का भव्य मिलन हुआ, जिसमें भुट्टी से देवता थान क्षेत्रपाल, थाच से देवता वीरनाथ भी अपने हारियानाें के साथ शामिल हुए।
- मंदिर में देवखेल के अनूठे नजारे को देखने के लिए सैकड़ों की संख्या में श्रद्धालुओं भीड़ उमड़ी। जहाँ श्रद्धालुओं ने शीश नवाकर देवताओं से सुख-समृद्धि का आशीर्वाद लिया।
- बड़ाग्रां की टिकरी सौह में देव आदेश पर काष्ठकुणी शैली के मंदिर का निर्माण किया गया है।

29. जमीन में दबीं प्राचीन सभ्यता की निशानियां हुईं उजागर
- उत्तर प्रदेश में बिजनौर के नजीबाबाद में राजा मोरध्वज के किले के नाम से मशहूर जगह पर प्राचीन शिलाएं और मूर्तियां मिली है। नेशनल हाईवे पर मिट्टी डालने के लिए उठाई गई तो 30 शिलाएं जमीन से बाहर आ गईं, जिनमें भगवान गणेश, भगवान बुद्ध की मूर्ति और शिवलिंग की जलाधारी शामिल है। जिनको मयूरेश्वर मंदिर में संरक्षित कर लिया गया है।
- शिलाएं लगभग 5000 वर्ष पूर्व राजा मोरध्वज काल की प्रतीत होती है। मयूरेश्वर और मोरध्वजरेश्वर मंदिर सभ्यता का प्रमाण है, समय समय पर खेतों की जोताई में मिलते रहे अवशेष इन दोनों मंदिरों पर रखे गए है।
- मथुरापुर मोर क्षेत्र से मिलीं शिलाएं दो से ढाई फीट लंबी-चौड़ी है। शिलाओं का वजन 50 किलोग्राम से 80 किलोग्राम तक है।

30. बेलागंज में चोरों का तांडव, मंदिर से लाखो के कीमती आभूषण की चोरी
- बिहार में गया के बेलागंज थाना क्षेत्र में 25 जून 2024 की रात को अज्ञात चोरों ने प्रसिद्ध गायत्री मंदिर से कीमती आभूषण चुरा कर चोरी की घटना को अन्जाम दिया।
- मंदिर में चोरों ने ग्रिल तोड़कर प्रवेश किया और शीशे का सुरक्षा बॉक्स को फोड़कर मूर्ति से स्वर्ण की माला, मंगतिका और चांदी की छतरी र हाथ साफ किया।
- बेलागंज के थानाध्यक्ष ने घटनाओं की पुष्टि करते हुए कहा, “चोरी के मामलों की जांच की जा रही है, और हम जल्द ही चोरों को पकड़ने की उम्मीद करते है।” उन्होंने क्षेत्र में गश्त बढ़ाने का आश्वासन भी दिया।
