20911. आत्मनिर्भर भारत अभियान के तहत केंद्र सरकार का जोर घरेलू रक्षा उद्योग को बढ़ावा देने पर
- भारतीय घरेलू रक्षा उद्योग को बढ़ावा देने के लिए केंद्र सरकार 209 हथियारों एवं रक्षा उपकरणों के आयात पर रोक लगा दी है। रक्षा एक ऐसा सेक्टर है जिसमें पूंजी लगाने पर रिटर्न मिलने में काफी वक्त लगता है तथा इसमें निवेश के लिए एकमुश्त भारी पूंजी की आवश्यकता होती है।
- केंद्रीय कैबिनेट ने एक महत्वपूर्ण फैसला लेते हुए दो सौ साल से अधिक पुराने ऑर्डिनेंस फैक्ट्री बोर्ड यानी आयुध निर्माणी बोर्ड (ओएफबी) को समाप्त करने का निर्णय लिया।
- देश की 41 ऑर्डिनेंस यानी हथियार, गोला-बारूद आदि रक्षा-सुरक्षा उपकरण बनाने वाली आयुध फैक्टियों को सात कॉरपोरेट कंपनियों में तब्दील करने का कार्य किया जाएगा। इनके तकरीबन 70,000 कर्मचारियों को इन कपनियों में समायोजित किया जाएगा।
20912. DRDO successfully test-fires Agni-Prime missile.
- India successfully carried out the test-firing of a new missile of the Agni series known as Agni-Prime off the coast of Odisha on Monday, said government sources.
- Agni-Prime is a new generation advanced variant of the Agni class of missiles.
- It is a canisterised missile with a range capability between 1000 and 2000 kilometres. Various telemetry and radar stations positioned along the eastern coast tracked and monitored the missile. It has followed textbook trajectory, meeting all mission objectives with a high level of accuracy.
20913. भारत ने बनाया इजराइल जैसा ड्रोन डिफेंस डोम सिस्टम ‘इंद्रजाल’… एक साथ कई ड्रोन को कर देगा ढेर
- भारत की एक कंपनी ग्रीन रोबोटिक्स ने देश का पहला ऐसा ड्रोन डिफेंस सिस्टम तैयार किया है जो दुश्मन की तरफ से आते अनमैन्ड एरियल व्हीकल, हथियारों और इस तरह के कई खतरों को फेल कर सकेगा.
- इस ड्रोन डिफेंस सिस्टम का नाम है ‘इंद्रजाल’ और यह ड्रोन डिफेंस 1000 से 2000 स्क्वॉयर किलोमीटर तक मौजूद खतरों को नाकाम करता है.
- इंद्रजाल ड्रोन डिफेंस सिस्टम को आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलीजेंस पर आधारित टेक्नोलॉजी के साथ तैयार किया गया है
20914. निजी कंपनियां भी बनाएंगी बड़े सैन्य हथियार, डीआरडीओ ने मिसाइल बनाने के लिए निजी कंपनियों को अनुमति दी
- रक्षा अनुसंधान एवं विकास संगठन (डीआरडीओ) हथियार बनाने के लिए अपनी तकनीक निजी कंपनियों को दे सकता है।
- डीआरडीओ ने मिसाइल बनाने की अनुमति देकर इसकी पहल कर दी है। हथियारों की गुणवत्ता के मद्देनजर सरकारी व निजी किसी भी फैक्ट्री को अब आर्डर दिए जा सकते हैं।
- अभी तक छोटे व बड़े सैन्य हथियारों के कई पुर्जों पर विदेश पर निर्भरता है। अब निजी कंपनियों के साथ मिलकर काम करने पर यह निर्भरता खत्म होगी।
20915. रक्षा क्षेत्र में 'आत्मनिर्भर भारत' मिशन को नई कामयाबी, Army में शामिल हुआ Span Bridging Systems
- ये Span Bridging System खासतौर पर पाकिस्तान की सीमा पर बहुत काम आएगा जहां कम चौड़ी नदियों, नालों और नहरों को पार करना होता है.
- इस सिस्टम की खासियत है कि इसमें 5 पुल जोड़े जा सकते हैं यानि 50 मीटर तक की नदी को पार किया जा सकता है.
- भारतीय सेना के सैनिक इसे 6-7 मिनट में लगा लेते हैं. इस ब्रिजिंग सिस्टम की डिजाइन डीआरडीओ (DRDO) ने तैयार की है और इसे देश में ही लार्सन एंड टूब्रो (L&T) ने बनाया है. भारतीय सेना ऐसे 100 सिस्टम खरीद रही है.
20916. Now, DRDO's made-in-India technology to counter Jammu-like drone attacks
- Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has developed anti-drone technology, that can swiftly detect and destroy drones that pose a security threat to the country.
- The D-4 drone system, developed by DRDO, could thus counter close range attacks. The system's aim is to detect rogue drones that are likely to attack the most vulnerable places.
- The system has got multiple sensors and two different counterattacks to destroy the rogue drones
20917. Assam government launches scheme to incentives production of orthodox and specialty tea
- Assam government has come up with a scheme to incentives the production of Orthodox and specialty tea.
- Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma ceremonially launched Assam Tea Industries Special Incentive Scheme (ATISIS).
- ATISIS is aimed at boosting the production of orthodox or specialty tea in the state by extending incentives to the tea gardens.

20918. Railway Connectivity Towards Northeast Gets a Boost
- The Commissioner of Railway Safety (CSR) has sanctioned the double-lining of one of the busiest rail routes of Northeast Frontier (NF) Railway, connecting Guwahati to the rest of India
- The commissioning includes the opening of the Jalpaiguri Road - Y Leg section and the Betgara - Kolaigram section.
- In both these sections, double lines have been commissioned along with Railway Electrification.
20919. G G Engineering Ltd. launches Made in India EV Charging Station
- BSE listed G G Engineering Ltd. (BSE: 540614), has announced the launch of its new product line, the EV Charging Station. With a view to expanding its product line, the company has developed an EV Charging station from 3 KW to 22 KW.
- The company will commence manufacturing of EV Charging stations. These stations shall be used to charge 2/3/4 wheeler vehicles. The production and distribution network will start in 3 months.
- `The product will be completely "Made in India". The product will be increasing the awareness and focus of the Government of India as well as state governments on the use of clean energy and efficiently reducing the usage of fossil fuels and will upsurge the demand for these products and company expects to carve a niche in the segment.
