- US - The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said it had distributed 59,304,600 doses of Covid-19 vaccines in the country and that 39,037,964 doses had been administered as of Saturday morning.
- United Kingdom - The UK also showed 11,465,000 people had received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, up from 10,971,000 on Friday, Reuters reported.
- India - On Sunday, India reported 5,636,868 doses of the vaccine administered. More than 56 lakh healthcare and frontline workers have been vaccinated in India, according to the Union ministry of health and family welfare.

- On Covishield Production: कोरोना महामारी से बचाव का टीका बनाने वाली कंपनी सीरम इंस्टीट्यूट आफ इंडिया (एसआईआई) के सीईओ अदार पूनावाला ने कहा है कि कोविड- 19 के टीके ‘कोविशील्ड’ का उत्पादन पूरे जोरों पर चल रहा है। बहरहाल, वह जब देश में लौटेंगे तो पूरे परिचालन की समीक्षा करेंगे। पूनावाला वर्तमान में ब्रिटेन में हैं जहां वह अपने परिवार के सदस्यों से मिलने गये हैं।
- भारत में कोविड- 19 टीकाकरण के तीसरे चरण की शुरुआत की जा चुकी है। तीसरे चरण में 18 से 44 आयुवर्ग के युवाओं को यह टीका लगाया जाना था लेकिन टीके की कमी के कारण कुछ राज्यों में इसकी समय पर शुरुआत नहीं हो सकी। उत्तर प्रदेश, छत्तीसगढ, महाराष्ट्र और जम्मू कश्मीर सहित कुछ अन्य राज्यों और संघ शासति प्रदेशों ने टीकाकरण के तीसरे चरण की शुरुआत की है लेकिन कर्नाटक और आडीशा में इसकी सांकेतिक शुरुआती ही हो पाई।
- उन्होंने कहा कि लंदन आने का उनका फैसला मुख्यतौर पर अपनी पत्नी और बच्चे से मिलने के लिये था। इसके अलावा इस दौरे का मकसद व्यवसायिक गतिविधियों को बढ़ने को लेकर भी है। एसआईआई ने पिछले सप्ताह ही राज्यों के लिये अपने टीके की कीमत 400 रुपये से घटाकर 300 रुपये कर दी। इससे पहले कंपनी ने केन्द्र सरकार को कोविशील्ड 150 रुपये में उपलब्ध कराई थी। देश में टीकाकरण अभियान में एसआईआई की कोवीशील्ड के अलावा भारत बायोटेक की कोवैक्सिन का भी इस्तेमाल किया जा रहा है।

- India has become the third topmost country in the world in terms of the number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered, the Union Health Ministry said. Only the United States and the United Kingdom remain ahead of India.
- Till February 7, 8 am, a total of 57.75 lakh beneficiaries have received the vaccine under the countrywide COVID-19 vaccination exercise.
- The cumulative vaccination coverage includes 53,04,546 healthcare workers and 4,70,776 frontline workers, the ministry said. In a span of 24 hours, 3,58,473 beneficiaries were vaccinated across 8,875 sessions. Also, a total 1,15,178 sessions have been conducted so far.

- India The total number of people who have received the Covid-19 vaccine shots has crossed the 60 lakh mark in the country, the Union Health Ministry announced, highlighting that India reached the mark in 24 days, the fastest in the world.
- The Union Health Ministry said that America took 26 days to reach this mark, whereas Britain achieved it in 46 days.
- As many as 60,35,660 beneficiaries were vaccinated through 1,24,744 sessions till today evening. Of these, 54,12,270 are healthcare workers and 6,23,390 frontline workers whose vaccination started on 2 February, Additional Secretary in the Health Ministry Manohar Agnani informed.

- वैक्सीन की कमी को पूरा करने के लिए भारत सरकार और अमेरिकी कंपनी फाइजर के बीच वैक्सीन को लेकर बातचीत शुरू हो गई है और फाइजर ने जल्द से जल्द भारत सरकार से वैक्सीन बनाने की इजाजत मांगी है।
- अमेरिकन वैक्सीन कंपनी फाइजर के सीईओ अल्बर्ट बोरला ने कहा है कि भारत सरकार से इजाजत मिलने के साथ ही कंपनी भारत के लिए वैक्सीन का निर्माण करना शुरू कर देगी।
- फाइजर के सीईओ अल्बर्ट बोरला ने कहा कि 'फाइजर ग्रुप कोरोना वायरस से इस लड़ाई में भारत का पार्टनर बनकर लड़ाई लड़ना चाहता है और हमने बहुत जल्दी भारत के लिए मानवीयता के आधार पर डोनेशन की व्यवस्था की है।'
- आपको बता दें कि फाइजर के सीईओ ने कोविड-19 जूझते भारत को 70 मिलियन यूएस डॉलर की मदद दी है, जिससे कोविड मरीजों के लिए दवा खरीदी जाएगी।

- कानपुर में रूमा से कौशांबी के सुजातपुर स्टेशन तक ट्रैक तैयार हो चुका है। मालगाड़ी का ट्रायल सफल रहा। पिछले सप्ताह इस रूट पर इंजन ट्रायल सिग्नल ट्रायल आदि का कार्य पूरा हुआ। मालगाड़ी को इस रूट पर 100 किमी की गति से दौड़ाने का कार्य सफल रहा है।
- कानपुर के निकट रूमा स्टेशन से सुजातपुर तक 135 किमी में मालगाड़ी ट्रेन का ट्रायल सफल रहा। डाउनलाइन पर ट्रेन न्यू कानपुर (रूमा) से चली और कौशांबी जनपद के न्यू सुजातपुर पहुंची।
- इस ट्रैक के शुरू होने से प्रयागराज-कानपुर रूट पर अब सवारी गाडिय़ों की लेटलतीफी कम होगी। इससे सवारी ट्रेन के यात्रियों को राहत मिलेगी। डीएफसी रूट पर केवल मालगाड़ी चलेगी। इस पर तेजी से साथ कार्य हो रहा है। पंजाब के लुधियाना से पश्चिम बंगाल के दानकुनी तक 1839 किमी का इस्टर्न डेडिकेटेड फ्रेट कारीडोर बनाया जा रहा है। इस सेक्शन में खुर्जा से भाऊपुर तक मालगाड़ी का संचालन हो रहा है।
