20442. India Signs Agreements to Export 5.5 lakh tonnes of Wheat to Asian Countries
- Wheat prices in the global market are at a nine-year high, with rates fluctuating between $9 and $10 per bushel. the Chicago Board of Trade quoted benchmark wheat futures at $9.75 per bushel or $358.24 (27,150) per tonne.
- According to data from the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), India exported 50.41 lt of wheat worth $1.43 billion from April to December of this fiscal year, up from 10.69 lt worth $278 billion lt the previous year.
- Higher wheat exports this year have aided growers, with prices exceeding the minimum support price (MSP) of $1,975 per quintal announced for the rabi marketing season in 2021. The MSP has been raised to $2,015 this year.

20443. VANDE BHARAT SLEEPER TRAIN: वंदे भारत की तीसरी खेप में आएंगी 200 स्लीपर ट्रेनें, 24 हजार करोड़ का जारी होगा टेंडर
- वंदे भारत की तीसरी खेप में 200 स्लीपर ट्रेनें मंगाई जाएंगी. जिसके लिए 24 हजार करोड़ का टेंडर जारी किया जाएगा. रेल मंत्रालय के एक वरिष्ठ अधिकारी के अनुसार 3,200 डिब्बों वाली 200 वंदे भारत ट्रेनों के लिए बोली दस्तावेजों को अंतिम रूप दिया जा रहा है और मार्च में जारी किया जाएगा.
- वंदे भारत (VANDE BHARAT) के मद्देनजर भारतीय रेलवे ने कपूरथला, चेन्नई और रायबरेली में उत्पादन इकाइयों के अलावा, रेलवे 200 वंदे भारत ट्रेन-सेट के निर्माण के लिए नव-निर्मित लातूर सुविधा की भी पेशकश करेगा.

20446. रूस-यूक्रेन संकट से भारत के गेहूं निर्यात को मिलेगा बल, सरकार और प्राइवेट ट्रेडर्स दोनों को होगा फायदा
- दुनिया के गेहूं निर्यात का एक-चौथाई से अधिक हिस्सा रूस और यूक्रेन से होता है. भारत के केंद्रीय पूल में 2.42 करोड़ टन अनाज है, जो बफर और रणनीतिक जरूरतों से दोगुना है.
- भारत दुनिया का सबसे बड़ा चावल का निर्यातक है. पिछले साल भारत ने 20 मिलियन टन चावल का निर्यात किया था.
- ट्रेडर्स के मुताबिक, भारत ने साल 2021 में 6.12 मिलियन टन गेहूं का निर्यात किया. साल 2020 में भारत ने 1.12 मिलियन टन का निर्यात किया था. माना जा रहा है कि 2022 की पहली छमाही में भारत 4 मिलियन टन निर्यात का आंकड़ा पार करेगा. अगर ब्लैक सी के जरिए सप्लाई लंबी अवधि के लिए प्रभावित होती है तो ऑस्ट्रेलिया को भी काफी फायदा होगा.

20447. अमरूद-आम, दही-पनीर खूब बेच रहा भारत, निर्यात में रिकॉर्ड उछाल
- भारत में अमरूद, आम हो या दही और पनीर, इसके निर्यात में जबरदस्त उछाल आया है। वर्ष 2013 से लेकर अब तक अमरूद के निर्यात में 260 फीसदी की वृद्धि दर्ज की गई है। वहीं, इसी अवधि में दही और पनीर (भारतीय कॉटेज चीज) के निर्यात में भी 200 फीसदी की बढ़ोतरी हुई है।
- अमरूद: अमरूद का निर्यात अप्रैल-जनवरी 2013-14 के 0.58 मिलियन अमेरिकी डॉलर से बढ़कर अप्रैल- जनवरी 2021-22 में 2.09 मिलियन अमेरिकी डॉलर के स्तर पर पहुंच गया।
- दही और पनीर (भारतीय कॉटेज चीज): अप्रैल-जनवरी 2013-14 के 10 मिलियन अमेरिकी डॉलर से बढ़कर अप्रैल-जनवरी 2021-22 में 30 मिलियन अमेरिकी डॉलर के स्तर पर पहुंच गया है।
- अन्य ताजे फलों का निर्यात 302 मिलियन अमेरिकी डॉलर, ताजे आम का निर्यात 36 मिलियन अमेरिकी डॉलर और अन्य (पान के पत्ते और मेवा) का निर्यात 19 मिलियन अमेरिकी डॉलर का हुआ। वर्ष 2020-21 के दौरान भारत से ताजे फलों के कुल निर्यात में ताजे अंगूर और अन्य ताजे फलों की हिस्सेदारी 92 प्रतिशत थी।

20448. Budget 2021: Covid-19 vaccines worth ₹35,000 crore and more for routine immunisation
- The ₹35,000-crore for covid-19 vaccine procurement was the headline number as far as immunisation went. The spend is marked in finance ministry’s budget as a transfer to states to support covid-19 vaccinations.
- this amount was over and above the ₹6,273 crore of net spend the government estimates to make in 2021-22 under National Rural Health Mission (NRHM), which includes routine immunisation programmes, according to Budget documents.
- The government had procured the first lot of 11 million doses of Serum Institute of India’s Covishield vaccine for ₹200 per dose, excluding taxes, and another 5.5 million doses of Bharat Biotech International Ltd’s Covaxin, with a 70% of it at ₹295 per dose.
20449. 41 lakh healthcare workers inoculated with Covid vaccine in India
- The total number of healthcare workers inoculated with the first dose of Covid-19 vaccines crossed 41 lakh. Gujarat and West Bengal started vaccinating frontline workers simultaneously.
- The two states - Gujarat and West Bengal – together inoculated 19,902 frontline workers. More states are likely to begin vaccinating frontline workers this week.
- The government aims to inoculate over 92.61 lakh healthcare workers across the country, minister of state for health Ashwini Choubey told the Rajya Sabha. Of this, around 44% have been vaccinated so far with the first dose. The second dose will be given with a gap of 28 days or four weeks.
20450. India allocates $4.8bn for Covid-19 vaccination for next FY
- The Indian Government has proposed a budget outlay of Rs2238.46bn (over $30bn) for health and wellbeing in 2021-22 while Rs350bn ($4.8bn) was allocated for Covid-19 vaccine in the next fiscal year (FY).
- Sitharaman said that the country has two Covid-19 vaccines available and started providing medical protection not only to Indian citizens but also to those of 100 or more nations.
