20151. This SaaS startup is solving supply chain challenges of enterprises, enabling BNPL for distributors
- Bengaluru-based SaaS platform Actyv.ai helps large enterprises transform supply chains and lets them empower the distributor ecosystem by offering cheaper credit facility through a BNPL model.
- Founded by seasoned tech professionals Raghunath Subramanian, Ramkumar Thirumurthi, and Raghu Venkat, the startup uses AI and ML for its technology platform that solves the key supply chain challenges of enterprises while ensuring Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) credit facility to distributors and suppliers.
- According to industry estimates, the global supply chain market is expected to touch $41.7 billion by 2026, surging from $23.2 billion in 2020. At present, Actyv.ai’s customers are from India. They include three large enterprises, and the startup has plans to add another 20-25 in the near future.
20152. [Startup Bharat] This Siliguri-based hotel management firm wants to become OYO of Northeast India
- When OYO Rooms, run by Oravel Stays Pvt Ltd, wowed the startup ecosystem in 2014 by raising huge funding rounds, budget hotels were touted as the next big thing. While many players entered this space – including Zo Rooms, FabHotels, and Treebo – only a handful of them were able to survive.
- By 2018, Gurugram-based Oyo started expanding into China and Indonesia, as well as had plans to enter Japan. When many had started to recognise OYO’s signature red-and-white logo, Rahul Chaudhury and Jaydeep Bose in Kolkata were in the process of starting a hotel management service of their own.
- So far, the founders have put in approximately Rs 70 lakh from their own pockets to bootstrap the startup and have a 10-member team running it out of Siliguri.
- Run by Say Trip Hospitality Pvt Ltd, SayRooms provides front- and back-end support to hotel owners – from providing them with connections for sourcing good quality linen at affordable prices to handling online customer support.

- सोनी चैनल में प्रसारित होने वाला रियलिटी टीवी शो शार्क टैंक इंडिया (Shark Tank India) में कई स्टार्टअप क बेहतर मुकाम हासिल हुआ है। शो में एक प्रोडक्ट Spndan के बारे में बताया गया, जो कि ECG डिवाइस है। इस डिवाइस के जरिए लोग घर बैठे आसानी से ECG जांच कर सकते हैं। इस प्रोडक्ट को Sunfox Technologies ने तैयार किया है।
- इस पोर्टेबल ECG डिवाइस Spandan का वजन सिर्फ 12 ग्राम है। इतना ही नहीं यह स्मार्टफोन ऐप के जरिए ECG मॉनिटर कर सकता है।इसके लिए इंटरनेट की भी जरूरत नहीं पड़ेगी
- इसे इस्तेमाल करने के लिए सबसे Google Play Store से डाउनलोड करना होगा। इसके बाद USB के जरिए स्मार्ट फोन से कनेक्ट कर लें। अब आपको सभी इलेक्ट्रोड्स को अपनी चेस्ट पर बताई गई जगहों पर लगाना होगा। इसके बाद टेस्ट करके रिपोर्ट बना सकते हैं।
- साल 2018 में देश के प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने इस डिवाइस का जिक्र किया था और इसकी तारीफ कर चुके हैं।
20154. इंडिया में जल्द लॉन्च होगी लाइव क्रिकेट स्कोर दिखाने वाली धांसू Smartwatch, सिंगल चार्ज में चलेगी 7 दिन
- भारत के शीर्ष स्मार्ट वियरेबल और TWS निर्माताओं में से एक Boat ने हाल ही में 1.75-इंच डिस्प्ले, Apollo 3 Blue Plus SoC और 10 दिनों की बैटरी लाइफ के साथ Boat Watch Blaze लॉन्च किया।
- कंपनी भारत में एक और स्मार्टवॉच लॉन्च करने की तैयारी कर रही है, जिसे बोट वेव प्रो 47 कहा जा रहा है। आधिकारिक लॉन्च से पहले, इसके लिए माइक्रोसाइट अब अमेज़न पर लाइव है, जिसमें आगामी स्मार्टवॉच की कुछ प्रमुख विशेषताओं का खुलासा किया गया है।
- इस स्मार्टवॉच से यूजर्स क्रिकेट मैचों के लाइव स्कोर पर नजर रख सकेंगे और ताजा अपडेट प्राप्त कर सकेंगे। यह सुविधा भारत की पुरुष और महिला टीम ODI, T20I और IPL खेलों के लिए उपलब्ध है।

20155. ISRO ने दी जानकारी, भारत चंद्रयान-2 15 जुलाई को करेगा लॉन्च
- भारतीय अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान संस्थान (इसरो) 15 जुलाई को तड़के 2.51 बजे श्रीहरिकोटा के सतीश धवन सेंटर से चंद्रयान-2 को लॉन्च करेगा।
- चंद्रयान-2 चंद्रमा के दक्षिणी ध्रुव पर लैंडिग करेगा। इस जगह पर इससे पहले किसी भी देश का कोई यान नहीं पहुंचा। ज्यादातर चंद्रयानों की लैंडिंग उत्तरी गोलार्ध में या भूमध्यरेखीय क्षेत्र में हुई है।
- चंद्रयान-2 आंकड़े एवं विज्ञान दस्तावेजों को जारी किया है और साथ ही उन्होंने चंद्रयान-2 के कक्ष पेलोड का डेटा भी जारी किया है।
- चंद्रयान-2 के 8 पेलोड चंद्रमा पर सुदूर संवेदी और अवस्थिति प्रौद्योगिकी के माध्यम से वैज्ञानिक प्रयोग कर रहे हैं। सिवन ने कहा कि अभी तक चंद्रयान-2 ने चंद्रमा की कक्षा में 9,000 से अधिक परिक्रमा पूरी कर ली है।
20156. Assam"s women dairy farmers on way to empowerment
- Nayanmoni Bharali of Assam’s Hojai started her venture of animal husbandry with just one cow six years ago and now sells 80-85 litres of milk daily, earning a revenue of Rs 10 lakh per year.
- She is among 6,800 women dairy farmers who have empowered themselves with animal farming and scripted success for West Assam Milk Producers’ Cooperative Union Ltd (WAMUL), the largest in the state. Bharali, a member of Udali Bamungaon Dughda Utpadak Samabay of well-known Purabi Dairy, said she now is financially independent with her venture.
- West Assam Milk Producers’ Cooperative Union Ltd managing director Satyabrata Bose said the entity celebrated International Women’s Day on March 8 with a focus on "Power of W-Women of WAMUL" to acknowledge and appreciate their contributions to the dairy sector.

20157. Shah lays foundation for Northeast’s first NFSU campus
- Home Minister Amit Shah laid the foundation of National Forensic Science versity’s (NFSU) first campus in Northeast India at Srinagar on the city’s southern outskirts. This is the third campus of the versity in the country.
- The Tripura government has allotted around 70 acres of land for setting up the permanent campus of NFSU, which is now functioning at the old B Ed College campus in the city .
- The Ministry of Home Affairs has allocated Rs 100 crore for developing the permanent Tripura campus of the NFSU in the next three years. Besides the five-year integrated course of B Sc-M Sc Forensic Science, NFSU is offering admission for two-year masters’ degree courses in Forensic Science, Digital Forensic & Information Security and Cyber Security in its Agartala campus.

20158. World's highest capacity featured oil and gas rig handed over to ONGC
- Megha Engineering and Infrastructure Ltd, which had secured an order to supply 47 oil rigs from Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) worth Rs 6000 crores, has handed over one more rig to ONGC in Bhimavaram, Andhra Pradesh.
- This indigenous rig is being operated successfully, and it can drill up to 6,000 metres (6 km) deep into the earth.
- MEIL is the first private player in India in manufacturing highly efficient oil drilling rigs with indigenous technology under the "Make in India" and "Atmanirbhar Bharat" initiatives."

- The 8 northeastern states of India – Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura and Sikkim have been displaying their investment potential during the ‘Northeast Fortnight’ organized by the India Pavilion at Expo 2022 Dubai.
- This Northeast Fortnight was officially launched on March 6 in the presence of numerous dignitaries from the State, Northeastern Council (NEC) and Ministry of Development of Northeast Region (DONER).

20160. Deliveroo launches new Engineering Centre in India; to hire 150 engineers
- Food delivery company Deliveroo has launched its India Engineering Centre in Hyderabad. Deliveroo is currently operating across Europe, Asia, Australia and the Middle East.
