- देश की पहली स्वदेशी कोरोना वैक्सीन कोवैक्सीन को अब एक और कामयाबी मिली है। ब्रिटेन ने आज से ऐसे लोगों के लिए अपने दरवाजे खोल दिए हैं जिन्होंने कोवैक्सीन लगवाई है। ऐसे लोगों को अब ब्रिटेन में जाकर क्वारंटीन नहीं होना होगा।
- ब्रिटेन भारत की कोवैक्सीन को अपनी स्वीकृत टीकों की लिस्ट यानी अप्रूवल लिस्ट में शामिल कर लिया है। यात्रा के लिए कोवैक्सीन को मान्यता देने वाले ब्रिटेन के नियम आज से लागू हो गए हैं। आज यानी 22 नवंबर से भारत बायोटेक-निर्मित टीका लगवाने वाले यात्रियों को अब यूके में क्वारंटाइन नहीं होना पड़ेगा।
- विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन से कोवैक्सीन को हरी झंडी मिलने के बाद ब्रिटेन ने भी यात्रा में राहत देने की घोषणा की थी। बता दें कि कोवैक्सीन भारत में इस्तेममाल की जाने वाली दूसरी सबसे बड़ी वैक्सीन है। पहले कोवैक्सीन लगवा चुके इंटरनेशनल यात्रियों को यूके जाने के बाद क्वारंटाइन में रहना पड़ता था, लेकिन आज सुबह चार बजे से नियम लागू हो गए और अब ऐसा नहीं होगा।

- प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी (PM Narendra Modi) ने रविवार को भारतीय नौसेना (Indian Navy) को देश के पहले स्वदेश निर्मित, स्टील्थ गाइडेड-मिसाइल डिस्ट्रॉयर आईएनएस विशाखापत्तनम (INS Visakhapatnam) मिलने पर प्रतिक्रिया दी है। उन्होंने 'आत्मनिर्भर भारत' (Atmanirbhar Bharat) बनने की खोज को आगे बढ़ाने के लिए रक्षा इकाई की सराहना की है।
- पीएम मोदी ने आगे कहा कि भारत रक्षा प्रणाली के आधुनिकीकरण के अपने प्रयासों पर काम करना जारी रखेगा। प्रधानमंत्री ने एक ट्विटर पोस्ट में समुद्री योद्धा आईएनएस विशाखापत्तनम की तस्वीरें भी साझा की हैं।
- इस विशाल युद्धपोत में मिसाइल डिस्ट्रॉयर के रूप में 76 मिमी की तोप है, जो सभी मोर्चों पर युद्ध करने में सक्षम है। जहाज में सतह से हवा में मार करने वाली मिसाइल प्रणाली के साथ एक विशाल डेक और एक संचार टॉवर है। जहाज हवा में लक्ष्य, जमीन पर लक्ष्य या समुद्र की सतह पर लक्ष्य और पानी के नीचे मुख्य रूप से पनडुब्बियों के खिलाफ युद्ध करने में सक्षम है। जहाज अविश्वसनीय संचार और रडार क्षमताओं के साथ पनडुब्बी रोधी रॉकेटों से लैस है, जो इसे एक उच्च-सटीक प्रणाली बनाता है। यह सोनार क्षमताओं से भी लैस है।

- NHAI continues to approve new highways along with broadening of the roads in order to strengthen the transportation system in Haryana. In recent years, the construction of new roads took place at a large scale.
- NHAI, a ring road covering a length of nearly 41 kilometres length will be constructed around Ambala which is adjoining the Punjab border so that people can get rid of jam. A huge amount has been sanctioned for the project and an amount of Rs 850 crore. It is worth mentioning that the total sanctioned budget of the projects is divided into two portions namely—one for land acquisition and second for the construction. The construction work is likely to start after the land acquisition is complete.
- Out of the total amount fixed for Ambala project, nearly 550 crore will be spent on land purchase while rest 300 crore are reserved for the construction work. In continuation to this, another ring road will be constructed in Karnal which will cover a stretch of about 34 kilometres and is likely to make people get rid of traffic congestion.The project is worth 850 crore- 500 crore for land acquisition while the rest 350 crore will be spent on construction work.

- वो कहते हैं न, मंजिल उन्हीं को मिलती है, जिनके सपनों में जान होती है, पंखों से कुछ नहीं होता, हौंसलों में उड़ान होती है। अगर हौंसले बुलंद हो तो कमी कभी भी काबिलियत पर भारी नहीं पड़ती। इस बात को साबित किया भारतीय बॉडी बिल्डर प्रतीक विट्ठल (Pratik Vitthal) ने। 26 साल की उम्र के प्रतीक की कहानी सुनकर लोग इंस्पायर हो रहे हैं।
- छोटे कद के चलते समाज में उन्हें ताने भी सुनने पड़े, लेकिन 3 फीट 4 इंच के प्रतीक ने अपनी कमी को मजबूती बनाया और दुनिया भर में मशहूर हो गए। प्रतीक बताते हैं कि उन्होंने अपने मामा को देखकर वर्कआउट करना शुरू किया था। उन्होंने मन में ठान लिया था कि वे कुछ करके दिखाएंगे। प्रतीक ने एक दोस्त के कहने पर प्रतीक ने वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड के लिए अपना नाम दिया था और अब वे विश्व रिकॉर्ड होल्डर हैं।
- साल 2016 ने उन्होंने बॉडी बिल्डिंग की प्रतियोगिताओं में हिस्सा लेना शुरू किया। उन्होंने साल 2018 में महाराष्ट्र के लिए सिल्वर मेडल हासिल किया। वो नेशनल लेवल के लिए सेलेक्ट होते गए। वे बताते हैं कि पहले फौजी बनने का सपना उनके दिल में था, लेकिन 12 साल की उम्र में उन्हें अपनी दिव्यांग होने के बारे में पता चला। इसके बाद उन्होंने स्पोर्ट्स में अपना करियर बनाया।

- The INS Visakhapatnam, which is the first of the four stealth guided-missile destroyers under project-15B, was commissioned in the Indian Navy on Sunday at the naval dockyard in Mumbai in the presence of Union defence minister Rajnath Singh.
- “INS Visakhapatnam commissioning marks a milestone in indigenous shipbuilding, capability, firepower and intent in securing the Indian Ocean Region (IOR). Indian Navy is the primary manifestation of India’s maritime power
- Singh was the chief guest at the ceremony and after commissioning INS Visakhapatnam, he said, “There are some irresponsible nations with narrow partisan interests who violate rules of united nations convention on the law of the sea (UNCLOS). India is a responsible maritime nation and we believe in rule-based navigation and friendly and peaceful relation with all nations”.

- India is now finally getting set to launch its most ambitious indigenous military aviation project to build a fifth-generation fighter or the advanced medium combat aircraft (AMCA) with advanced stealth features as well as 'supercruise' capabilities.
- Production of fifth-generation jets is an extremely complex and expensive affair, with the American F/A-22 Raptor and F-35 Lightning-II Joint Strike Fighter, the Chinese Chengdu J-20 and Russian Sukhoi-57 being the only operational ones around the globe at present.
- The AMCA project is critical for IAF, which is grappling with just 30-32 fighter squadrons and will not reach its sanctioned strength of 42 squadrons even with “planned inductions” over the next 10-15 years.

- India is expected to receive all Rafale fighter jets from France by April next year. This was confirmed by French Ambassador Emmanuel Lenain, saying Paris "despite all the hardship" in the last two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic would be able to deliver all Rafales on time.
- The induction of the Rafales into the Indian Air Force (IAF) is a big boost for India. However, with an aim to further strengthen its abilities, the IAF has decided to upgrade its fleet of French-origin fighters with India-specific enhancements.
- India has received 30 Rafale jets from France and has already started its pilots within the country after training its personnel in France. The country is now planning to go ahead with the case for acquiring 114 multirole fighter aircraft for which a case is to be moved to the defence ministry by the IAF in near future.
