23801. 2 एकड़ में सब्जियों की जैविक खेती से हर हफ्ते 10-15 हजार कमा रहा ये किसान
- कोरोना काल में लोगों का ध्यान प्राकृतिक और पौष्टिक खाने की तरफ गया। इस दौरान जैविक सब्जियों की भी मांग बढ़ी है। एमपी में किसानों के मुताबिक ऑर्गेनिक सब्जियों के रेट भी अच्छे मिल रहे हैं, इसलिए वो organic farming की तरफ बढ़ रहे हैं।
- मध्यप्रदेश के पन्ना शहर से लगी ग्राम पंचायत पुराना पन्ना के गांव रानीपुर टगरा के किसान संत कुमार कुशवाहा अपने 2 एकड़ के खेत में केंचुआ खाद व जैविक कीटनाशकों का उपयोग कर सब्जी उगाते हैं। संत कुशवाहा बताते हैं, "ज्यादातर बाजार पहुंचते ही हमारी सारी सब्जियां बिक जाती हैं। कुछ ग्राहक तो ऐसे हैं जो नियमित रूप से खेत में आकर मनपसंद सब्जियां खरीद कर ले जाते हैं।"
- कुशवाहा परिवार के मुताबिक सब्जियों की खेती उन्हें औसतन हर महीने एक लाख से डेढ़ लाख की आय होती है पिछले कुछ वर्षों से भारत में जैविक खेती और जैविक उत्पादों की मांग तो बढ़ी है, लेकिन जमीन पर अभी जैविक खेती प्रारंभिक स्तर पर नजर आती है। केंद्रीय कृषि एवं किसान कल्याण मंत्रालय के अनुसार मार्च 2020 तक देशभर में 2.78 मिलियन हेक्टेयर में जैविक खेती हो रही थी जो देश के कुल बुवाई रकबे 140.1 मिलियन हेक्टेयर का करीब 2 फीसदी ही है।
23802. Atal Innovation Mission and Vigyan Prasar announce collaboration between Atal Tinkering Labs and Engage with Science
- Atal Innovation Mission, a flagship initiative of Niti Aayog has announced a collaboration with Vigyan Prasar to drive synergies between AIM’s Atal Tinkering Labs and Vigyan Prasar’s unique interactivity platform, Engage With Science. Vigyan Prasar is an autonomous organization of the Department of Science and Technology.
- Engage with Science will onboard all ATL-enabled schools and engage their students, teachers and Principals in perennial activities. These activities will lead to accumulation of points based on which certificates and incentives will be provided to motivate students and teachers about STEM content consumption.
- With a vision to Cultivate one Million children in India as Neoteric Innovators, Atal Innovation Mission has established over 9,200 Atal Tinkering Laboratories in schools across India. 23804. Bharat Electronics bags export order from Airbus Defence and Space
- Bharat Electronics announced that it has a signed a contract with Airbus Defence and Space for the manufacture and supply of Radar Warning Receiver (RWR) and Missile Approach Warning System.
- The contract with Airbus Defence and Space is the biggest export order received till date by BEL.
- BEL is a state-owned aerospace and defense company with about nine factories, and several regional offices in India. It primarily manufactures advanced electronic products for the Indian Armed Forces. The Government of India held 51.14% stake in BEL as on 30 September 2021.
23805. After China, India reaches out to LAC, African countries with medicine diplomacy
- India is now looking to reach out to 52 more countries spread mainly across Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) and also Africa with similar grants.
- Seventy-six countries in all will receive HCQ tablets as grant assistance from India.On both commercial and grant basis, India has supplied medicines to 133 countries (446 million HCQ tablets and 1.54 billion Paracetamol tablets), foreign secretary Harsh Shringla said in an address to National Defence College Friday.
- Among the 24 who have already received HCQ as donation from India are neighbours like Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Afghanistan and Maldives. Out of the 5 million tablets approved for LAC countries, Peru will get 900,000 and Venezuela 740,000 other than this 500,000 tablets to Guatemala, 400,000 to Ecuador and 300,000 each to Cuba, Bolivia and Haiti.

- India has supplied paracetamol and hydroxychloroquine to over 120 countries in the last two months while ensuring the domestic supply,Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal.
- Goyal said that India has put restrictions on exports of these medicines with an intention to ensure that not only the rich and mightier countries get these medicines, but the less developed nations too get equal and fair access to serve and cure their people.
- "More than 40 of them (countries) received these medicines as grant/free of charge. While paracetamol is a pain reliever, Hydroxychloroquine is an anti-malarial drug. Self-reliant India means engaging with the world and not overtly dependent on world. He also said that now India is manufacturing PPE kits and masks in huge numbers and companies are looking at making India a hub of these products.

23808. Dr Reddy's launches generic lipid-regulating tablets in US
- The company's Fenofibrate tablets USP in the strengths of 54 mg and 160 mg are approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA), Dr Reddy's said in a filing to BSE. The product is a generic version of AbbVie Inc's Tricor tablets, it added.According to Health data, the Tricor brand and generic had US sales of around USD 90 million moving annual total (MAT) for the most recent 12 months ending in January 2020, Dr Reddy's said.
- Shares of Dr Reddy's Laboratories were trading at Rs 3,991 per scrip on BSE, down 0.28 per cent from their previous close.
- The company's tablets are available in 54 mg dose in bottle count size of 90, and 160 mg dose in bottle count sizes of 90 and 500, it added.
23809. Covid-19: India gifts Bangladesh 1 lakh anti-malarial tablets, 50,000 surgical gloves
- India gifted one lakh anti-malarial tablets of hydroxychloroquine and 50,000 surgical gloves to Bangladesh to help it combat the coronavirus pandemic which has infected nearly 5,000 people and killed over 100 in the country.
- India's High Commissioner Riva Ganguly Das, on the occasion of India dispatching the second tranche of assistance to Bangladesh, invoked legendary poet and Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore to highlight the importance of India-Bangladesh relations.
- The Bangladeshi government has announced a $11.6 billion stimulus package to support its economy, with a primary focus on supporting the manufacturing and service sectors, agriculture and social safety nets.

23810. India reaches out to Afghan people with a million doses of Covid-19 vaccine
- India has once again reached out to Afghan people by dispatching one million doses of Covid vaccine to Kabul. as humanitarian aid to the Taliban ruled Afghanistan.
- According to Khaama Press of Afghanistan, the first shipment of 500,000 doses has already arrived in Tehran through Iran’s Mahan Air. They are expected to reach Kabul on . The second consignment of jabs will reach Kabul in the second week of January.
- India is also sending 50,000 metric tonnes of wheat to Afghanistan by road through Pakistan. After sitting over the Indian proposal, the Imran Khan government had told New Delhi on December 3 that it will allow Afghan trucks for transport of wheat and life-saving medicines.
