1171. “Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan” for tribal village development plans
- The Centre has rolled out a unique tribal outreach initiative that will allow about 100,000 tribal-dominated villages to prepare their own five-year development plans by October 2, 2025.
- The initiative, which seeks to ensure government schemes percolate down to the grassroots, will begin with training 2 million officials and then engage villagers to prepare development plans, saturate all government schemes and set up single-window centres to address grievances in each of the 100,000 villages.
- The tribal affairs ministry has identified villages across 324 districts for the 'Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan' or behavioural change programme. "There are specific deliverables under this programme.
1172. Nagaland’s Health Department Signs MoU With C-CAMP To Boost Public Health System
- On 10 September, 2025, Nagaland’s Department of Health & Family Welfare has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP) to enhance the state’s public health system through innovative, indigenous health technologies.
- The partnership was unveiled today by Commissioner & Secretary, Health & Family Welfare, Anoop Khinchi, and C-CAMP Director & CEO Dr. Taslimarif Saiyed.
- The immediate next steps under this MoU will include identifying and deploying cutting-edge indigenous health technologies in maternal and child health, non-communicable diseases, and other critical public health areas relevant to Nagaland.

1173. ISRO inks pact with HAL for transfer of small satellite launch vehicle technology
- On September 10, 2025, ISRO signed a formal agreement in Bengaluru with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) for the transfer of technology to produce Small Satellite Launch Vehicles (SSLV), facilitated by INSPACe as its 100th technology transfer.
- The agreement, also involving NSIL, will be completed in 24 months with ISRO providing training and technical support. This collaboration reflects India’s vision to boost private participation and strengthen its role as a global hub for affordable launch services.
- HAL will leverage its engineering and manufacturing capacity to build SSLVs, train the workforce, and cater to both domestic and international markets, ensuring cost-competitive, regular small-satellite launches and advancing India’s self-reliant space ecosystem.

1174. India achieves 250 GW of non-fossil fuel electricity generation capacity:
- On 10 September, 2025 , New & Renewable Energy Minister announced India’s non-fossil fuel electricity capacity has risen from 81 GW in 2014 to 250 GW in 2025, marking over a three-fold increase in just a decade.
- The achievement, driven by solar, wind, hydro, bio-energy, and nuclear power, reflects India’s strong commitment to sustainability. The government aims to expand this capacity further to 500 GW of renewable energy by 2030.
- The current 250 GW mix comprises 123.13 GW solar, 52.68 GW wind, 55.22 GW hydro, 11.60 GW bio-energy, and 8.78 GW nuclear, positioning India as a rising global leader in clean energy transition.
1175. Over 99% electrification of Indian Railways network complete
- On 10 september 2025 It was reported that, By August-end, Indian Railways completed 99.1% network electrification, leaving only 646 route kilometres across Rajasthan, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Goa, and Assam, where the latter still has 269 RKM pending — nearly 10% of its tracks.
- Officials confirmed the push is led by Indian Railways with plans for net zero, using rooftop solar panels across stations, workshops, sheds, and residences, alongside large solar projects on surplus land integrated into the electricity grid.
- Installed solar capacity has crossed 4,500 MW, including 236 MW from rooftop systems and 1,040 MW land projects underway. Additionally, 2,301 MW renewable energy in Round-The-Clock mode is being developed in Rajasthan and Maharashtra.
1176. Cabinet announces ₹7,616 cr highway, railway projects in poll-bound Bihar
- On 10 september, 2025, the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs approved two transport projects in Bihar worth ₹7,616 crore: a four-lane Mokama–Munger highway and doubling of the Bhagalpur-Dumka-Rampurhat rail line across Bihar, Jharkhand, and West Bengal.
- Chaired by Prime Minister the committee’s approval was announced by Union Minister . The projects will be executed through the hybrid annuity model and rail infrastructure expansion to boost connectivity and efficiency.
- The highway costs ₹4,447.38 crore, cuts travel time to 1.5 hours, and creates 3.3 million man-days employment. The ₹3,169 crore rail project boosts freight capacity by 15 million tonnes, saves 50 million litres oil, and benefits 2.87 million people.

1178. MSI expands 'Make in India' manufacturing with Katana and Crosshair laptops featuring RTX 50 series graphics
- On September 9, 2025, in Mumbai, MSI announced local production of Katana and Crosshair series with RTX 50 Series Graphics at the Chennai facility under its ‘Make in India’ initiative, strengthening India’s global tech and manufacturing role.

1179. PM Modi announces financial assistance of Rs 1600 crore for flood-affected Punjab
- On 9 september, 2025, Prime Minister of India announced a financial assistance of Rs 1,600 crore for the flood-ravaged Punjab, battling its worst deluge since 1988, in addition to the Rs 12,000 crore already in the state’s kitty.
- Prime Minister also announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh to the next of kin of the deceased and Rs 50,000 to the seriously injured in the floods and natural calamity.
- Prime Minister emphasised the need for a multi-dimensional approach to help the entire region and its people recover. This would include measures such as rebuilding homes under the PM Awas Yojana, restoring national highways, reconstructing schools, providing relief through the PMNRF, and distributing mini kits for livestock.

- Minister added that the National Career Service Portal is playing a key role, with over fifty-one lakh registrations and forty-six lakh vacancies listed, including twenty-eight thousand international jobs.
