1192. Sikkim records highest GST growth among smaller states with 39% rise in August

1193. MP CM transfers Rs 20.6 crore relief fund to farmers for crops damaged by excessive rains, floods

1196. Tripura Government Releases Rs. 10 Crore from CM’s Relief Fund for Flood Victims

1197. State government allocates ₹2,126 crore for metro connectivity to Parandur airport
- On 5 september, 2025 It was reported that , The Tamil Nadu government sanctioned ₹2,126 crore for preparatory work on metro rail connectivity to the proposed greenfield airport at Parandur, Chennai. Phase I will extend the elevated corridor up to Sunguvarchatram, covering 28 km with 14 stations.
- The corridor, planned by Aarvee Associates, will be built in two phases. Phase I links Poonamallee to Sunguvarchatram, integrating with Corridor 4 and existing/under-construction lines. Land acquisition (₹1,836 crore) and preliminary civil work (₹252 crore) are the initial steps.
- The total 53-km corridor will have 20 stations, support speeds up to 80–100 kmph, and connect key locations like Sriperumbudur and Kuthambakkam bus terminus. Estimated cost is ₹15,906 crore, with Phase I at ₹8,779 crore, integrated with NHAI’s elevated corridor.
1198. Union Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways inaugurates green hydrogen pilot plant
- On September 5, 2025, Union Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways inaugurated a green hydrogen pilot plant and laid foundation stones for multiple projects at V O Chidambaranar (VOC) Port, Tamil Nadu, under the Sagarmala programme to boost maritime infrastructure and coastal livelihoods.

1199. Railways ministry approves ₹118-crore ROB near Katihar Junction
- On 5 september, 2025 It was reported that, The Ministry of Railways approved a ₹118 crore road over bridge (ROB) at Mukuria near Katihar Junction under Northeast Frontier Railway. The ROB will replace a level crossing on NH-31 and SH-98, easing long-standing commuter congestion.
- The project will be executed as a joint venture between the Railways and state authorities. Railway officials said it will enhance road safety for motorists and pedestrians, while also improving traffic flow on two major highways near Katihar.

1200. H1 2025: Global Solar Additions Hit 380 GW, India Sees 49% Growth, Says EMBER
