22661. IIT Guwahati startup to perform drone show during Republic Day event
- An Indian Institute of Technology start-up, Drone Tech Lab, will be performing a drone show at Kamrup in a first-of-its-kind Republic Day event in the north-east region. These drones developed by the IIT Guwahati start-up have already been providing solutions for various domains like disaster management, agriculture, survey, and mapping.
- Their drone-based solution can identify and indemnify different pests at a pace of one hectare/4 hours through their custom-build solutions involving drone platforms, multiple band sensors and AI-based application tools.

- इसका डिज़ाइन फ्रिज की तरह है और ज़मीन पर 3×4 फीट जगह घेरता है और लम्बाई में यह 7 फीट है। इसमें चारा उगाने के लिए 7 रैक लगाई गई हैं 7 दिनों के हिसाब से। हर एक रैक में 4 ट्रे हैं जिनमें हर दिन लगभग 700 ग्राम मक्के के बीज उगाने के लिए डाले जाते हैं

22663. Airtel commissions 21-MW solar power unit in Maharashtra
- Airtel commissioned a new 21-megawatt solar power plant in Buldhana district of Maharashtra as part of its commitment to reduce carbon footprint and contribute to the global efforts to curb the effects of climate change
- The company expects the solar-powered unit to reduce 25,517 tonnes in carbon emissions annually. The captive power unit, spread over 80 acres, has been set up by Airtel in partnership with Avaada to supply clean energy to Airtel’s Nxtra data centres and switching centres in Maharashtra.
- Airtel has committed to reducing absolute Scope 1 and 2 Green House Gas (GHG) emissions across its operations by 50.2 per cent by the financial year 2031, considering FY 2021 as the base year. Airtel has also committed to reducing absolute scope 3 GHG emissions by 42 per cent over the same timeframe.
22664. Karnataka's 'Ajji' Donates Land Worth Rs 1 Crore to Build School for Village Kids
- A 75-year-old lady from Kunikeri village, Haveri district in Karnataka, has just willingly given away everything she had so that the kids of the village get to study and play well. When she came to know that government officials were scouting for a space to build a school for the village children, she voluntarily gave away half of her land, an acre.
- After some time, the school committee was searching for land close by to build a playground for the kids. Huchchamma stepped in happily once again, gifting them the remaining piece of her land.
- Hunchchamma now works at the same school as a head cook for mid-day meals. When the school is closed, she works as a farm labourer in others people’s fields.
22665. India takes on China, Vietnam in electronics manufacturing; eyes $300 billion in local production by FY26
- India's counter-attack on China and Vietnam in manufacturing of electronics is set to get additional fire-power.
- On target is $300 billion in output over the next four years, including $120 billion reserved for exports; broadening of product-basket for incentives; specially crafted large industrial zones with modern facilities; and permissions for factories that may hold up to as many as 1 lakh workers with dormitories, kitchens, medical set-ups, and housing complexes
- The plan is to give scale to electronics manufacturing set up that would ultimately lead to creation of strong supplier eco-system, massive employment opportunities, and global servicing.

22666. Hero Electric partners with Alt Mobility to deploy 10,000 e-2Ws by 2023
- Hero Electric has joined hands with Alt Mobility. Under this collaboration, both the companies will work with logistic aggregators and fleet operators to deploy 10,000 electric 2Ws by 2023.
- Hero Electric, one of India’s leading electric two-wheeler companies, has partnered with Alt Mobility, which is claimed to be India’s first dedicated platform for leasing of EVs for the logistics market.
- Hero Electric’s new partner, Alt Mobility, offers two and three-wheeler EVs on an affordable monthly subscription to fleet operators. They cover the financing, road tax, auto insurance, and service and spare costs of electric vehicles.
22667. Maruti Suzuki's new plant may become its biggest factory in India
- the country's largest carmaker will soon start work on its new production facility in Sonepat, Haryana and that this new plant will become Maruti Suzuki's biggest facility in India.
- At the moment, Maruti Suzuki has two facilities in India: one in Gurugram and another in Manesar.
- The new Maruti Suzuki plant in Sonipat is expected to be ready to go by 2025. The new facility at Sonipat, which will see an overall investment of about ₹18,000 crore, is meant to help the company shift out of the Gurugram factory which suffers greatly owing to congestion and traffic.

22668. भारत में एसिड अटैक सर्वाइवर्स का पुनर्वास कर रहा है कोलकाता का यह एनजीओ
- कोलकाता स्थित कनोरिया फाउंडेशन ने एसिड सर्वाइवर्स एंड वूमेन वेलफेयर फाउंडेशन (ASWWF) की शुरुआत की, ताकि भारत में मुख्यधारा के समाज के साथ एसिड अटैक सर्वाइवर्स को समर्थन देकर उनका पुनर्वास किया जा सके।
- राष्ट्रीय अपराध रिकॉर्ड ब्यूरो (NCRB) के अनुसार, भारत में 2014 से 2019 के बीच लगभग 1,500 लोग एसिड हमले के शिकार हुए हैं। देश में हर साल एसिड हमलों के लगभग 250 मामले सामने आते हैं। और, हर दिन लगभग एक एसिड अटैक होता है।
- एनजीओ ने 63 एसिड अटैक सर्वाइवर्स को उनकी चिकित्सा देखभाल के लिए वित्तीय सहायता से मदद की, जिसमें पांच जीवित बचे लोगों को विशेष अस्पतालों में इलाज मिला।

- वारंगल से आने वाले गणेश अब तक 25 इनोवेशन कर चुके हैं और 12वीं पास गणेश एक सीरियल इनोवेटर हैं।
- गणेश के अनुसार यह टॉय 3-12 वर्ष के आयु वर्ग के बच्चों को शिक्षा प्रदान करने के लिए उपयुक्त है। मीडिया से बात करते हुए गणेश ने बताया है कि उन्हें पहले से ही सरकारी स्कूलों, निजी शिक्षण संस्थानों, तेलंगाना सरकार और पोलैंड जैसे अंतरराष्ट्रीय बाजारों से भी इसके ऑर्डर मिल रहे हैं।
