11. Assam CM inaugurates 'Guwahati Science City' at Tepesia, Sonapur
- On March 10, 2026, in Sonapur near Guwahati, Assam, Chief Minister inaugurated the state’s first Science City, built over 82 acres at a cost of ₹300 crore to promote science education and research.
- The Assam government, in collaboration with the National Council of Science Museums under the Ministry of Culture, developed the project featuring exhibits like Eureka and Space Odyssey to encourage scientific thinking among young people.

12. 20,019 organ transplants performed in India in 2025: government
- On 10 march 2026 government informed in parliament that, In 2025, in India, a total of 20,019 organ transplants were performed, the government informed Rajya Sabha on March 3, 2026, citing data reported by hospitals and transplant centres on the National Organ and Tissue Transplant Organisation (NOTTO) registry portal.
- Union Minister of State for Health said the government implemented the National Organ Transplant Programme (NOTP) to strengthen transplant infrastructure, establish ROTTOs and SOTTOs, and increase awareness and coordination for organ donation across states and union territories.
- As of March 3, 2026, the national organ waitlist stood at 89,839 patients. Out of 804 registered transplant hospitals, 217 hospitals failed to report data on the NOTTO National Registry Portal in 2025, where reporting has been operational since 2015.

14. India's software exports touch $222 billion in 2024-25: ESC
- On 11 March 2026, it was reported that, In 2024–25, India’s exports of computer software and services, including ITeS and BPO, reached $222 billion, rising 11% from $200 billion in 2023–24, according to the Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC).
- ESC Chairman Veer Sagar reported that exports grew through strong performance in IT software services ($147 billion), engineering services, and BPO, while Sandeep Narula noted the United States remained the largest buyer, importing over half of India’s software exports.
- IT software services accounted for 66.2% of exports ($147 billion); BPO services contributed $58 billion, while engineering services exceeded $11 billion with 13.99% growth. The US imported $117.43 billion, followed by the UK ($34.41 billion), Japan, Germany, and the Netherlands.

18. Union health minister Launched BODH Platform at India AI Impact Summit 2026
- Union health minister officially launched the Benchmarking Open Data Platform for Health AI (BODH) during the recently held India AI Impact Summit.

- At the India AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi, a comprehensive new repository has been unveiled that profiles more than 110 Indian startups and non-profit organisations using artificial intelligence (AI) to address challenges at population scale.
