23501. Beverage brand Jade Forest raises $1 million from Mumbai Angels Network
- Non-alcoholic beverage brand Jade Forest has raised $1 million in a funding round led by Mumbai Angels Network.Jade Forest was launched in 2019 by Shuchir Suri and Punweet Singh. Its products are currently priced between ₹80 and ₹85 for a 250ml glass bottle
- The brand retails across the country’s top metros; in all, it is available in 23 cities pan India. It is also sold online via Amazon, as well as last-mile delivery platforms. The company had raised a seed round of $ 2,50,000 in November 2020
- The brand plans to expand its portfolio of drinks into different verticals as well as venture into the export market in the coming years,

- India#039;s indigenous Light Combat Aircraft quot;Tejas#039;#039; is in the forefront of Malaysia#039;s requirement of 36 low cost light fighter aircraft for its Air Force
- the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) Malaysia had floated a global tender for acquiring light fighter aircraft. The RfP had been sent to various competitors including: M-346FA Fighter Attack aircraft variant which has been developed by Leonardo, of Italy; FA-50 light attack aircraft developed by Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI); Yak-130 combat trainer aircraft developed by United Aircraft Corporation of Russia; and JF-17 of China.
- Out of the five who responded to the RfP, only India’s indigenous Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas, JF-17 joint venture of China and Pakistan and FA- 50 of Korean Aerospace Industries were down selected

- नेहा इंदोरिया और ध्रुवन बरार द्वारा फरवरी 2019 में स्थापित, Boingg का दावा है कि बच्चों के लिए फर्नीचर, सॉफ्ट फर्निशिंग और एक्सेसरीज की एक मजेदार और कार्यात्मक रेंज इसके पास उपलब्ध है। स्टार्टअप एक इन्वेंट्री-लेस मॉडल पर काम करता है ताकि रियल एस्टेट, स्टोरेज और मेंटेनेंस कॉस्ट को बचाया जा सके।

- पूर्वांचल एक्सप्रेस-वे 340 किलोमीटर लंबा है जो प्रदेश के 9 जिलों से होकर गुजरा है। एक्सप्रेस-वे में 8 जगहों पर इंडस्ट्रियल कॉरिडोर बनाए जाने हैं। इस एक्सप्रेस-वे के द्वारा गाजीपुर से लखनऊ की दूरी 3.5 घंटे में पूरी की जा सकेगी
- पूर्वांचल एक्सप्रेस-वे के किनारे 08 स्थानों पर इण्डस्ट्रियल कॉरिडोर बनाए जाने की कार्यवाही शुरु हो चुकी है। इससे रोजगार बढ़ेंगे और आर्थिक गतिविधियों में तेजी आएगी

23506. Bharat Biotech and Dunc Minh donate 200,000 doses of COVAXIN to Vietnam
- The Republic of Vietnam will receive 2,00,000 doses of Bharat Biotech’s COVAXIN vaccine, said Suchitra Ella, Joint Managing Director of Bharat Biotech at a function hosted by Vuong Dinh Hue, President of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Thursday.
- This donation represents a gesture of goodwill to provide access to Bharat Biotech’s WHO-approved, indigenously-developed COVAXIN to fight the COVID-19 pandemic across borders. COVAXIN has received Emergency Use Listing (EUL) in Vietnam.
- Bharat Biotech has completed Phase-2 and Phase-3 trials of COVAXIN for children in the age group of 2 to 18 years. The data has been submitted to the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) and the final approval is awaited. On approval, children will also have access to COVAXIN.
23507. India's largest heliport to come up in Noida; project to follow Jewar airport model
- Noida is all set to get the country's largest heliport, designed for helicopter takeoffs and landings, under the public-private partnership (PPP) model.
- On the lines of the Jewar airport model, the Noida Authority will set up a heliport in Sector 151 A and a tender is likely to be floated this week. Land and development rights will be given to a private agency for a time span of 30 years after the parties sign a concession agreement.
- The Noida heliport will have a 15 metre tall air traffic control system (ATC) and a parking lot where 50 cars can be parked. The helipad will be developed with four aprons having a capacity to book ten helicopters at any given time.
23508. Isro signs pacts with four countries for satellite launches, to earn 132m euros: Minister
- Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) has signed six agreements with four countries for launching foreign satellites during 2021-23. Its commercial arm New Space India Ltd inked the pacts for launching the satellites by India’s mainstay rocket PSLV, Union space minister Jitendra Singh said
- about 132 million euros will be earned through launches of these foreign satellites on a commercial basis.
- from 1999 to till date, a total of 342 foreign satellites belonging to 34 countries have been successfully launched on board PSLV on a commercial basis.
23509. Railway Installs Satellite-Based RTES in 93 Trains Passing Through Chhattisgarh
- The Indian Railways has installed the Real-Time Information System (RTES) in 93 trains of the Raipur Railway Division. This device will help retrieve accurate information about the arrival of the train at the station.
- n association with the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), these satellite-based devices have been installed in trains by railways. The information of arrival and departure of the train at the station will be received with the help of the RTES.
- The satellite-based device installed by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) in the locomotives will read the speed of trains based on GPS and issue updates.
23510. BLADE India launches helicopter service from Bengaluru to Coorg, Kabini
- The Indian subsidiary of US-based helicopter transport firm BLADE has launched its scheduled by-the-seat services on Bengaluru-Coorg and Bengaluru-Kabini routes in Karnataka.
- BLADE first entered the state in December 2020 with its weekend private charter services.With the launch of the services on the two routes, travel time to the two cities from the state capital will be reduced from 6-7 hours by road at present, the company said in a release.
- BLADE India said it aims to connect congested and inaccessible surface routes in the country through an efficient air transport system and provide an all-around holistic experience through its baggage and ground transfers and partner benefits.
