24041. DRDO Covid Hospital to Restart in Varanasi as Cases Rise
- The DRDO officials have also been contacted to operationalise the temporary Covid hospital with ICU facilities at the amphitheatre of Banaras Hindu University as a precautionary measure.
- The 500-bed DRDO temporary hospital — which was named Pandit Rajan Mishra Covid Hospital — was started for Covid patients at the amphitheater ground in May 2021 to meet the increased demand of the requirement of the ICU beds as many critical Covid-19 patients needed level-2 and level-3 facilities.
- This facility of DRDO was closed after June 16, 2021, after the requirement of level-3 facilities decreased.

- इस सप्ताह विदेशी मुद्रा भंडार में आया उछाल, रिजर्व बैंक के खजाने में पड़ा है 642 बिलियन डॉलर
- यह वृद्धि विदेशी मुद्रा आस्तियों तथा सोने के मूल्य में पर्याप्त वृद्धि की वजह से संभव हुई. इससे पिछले सप्ताह में विदेशी मुद्रा भंडार 90.8 करोड़ डॉलर घटकर 640.1 अरब डॉलर रह गया था.
- देश का विदेशी मुद्रा भंडार 29 अक्टूबर को समाप्त सप्ताह में 1.91 अरब डॉलर बढ़कर 642.01 अरब डॉलर हो गया. भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (आरबीआई) ने शुक्रवार को अपने ताजा आंकड़ों में यह जानकारी दी. यह वृद्धि विदेशी मुद्रा आस्तियों तथा सोने के मूल्य में पर्याप्त वृद्धि की वजह से संभव हुई. इससे पिछले सप्ताह में विदेशी मुद्रा भंडार 90.8 करोड़ डॉलर घटकर 640.1 अरब डॉलर रह गया था.
