681. DRDO Long-Range Glide Bomb: भारत ने बनाया 1000 किलो का बम, जिसको देखकर कांप उठेगा पाकिस्तान, जानें कितना पावरफुल
- 22 नवंबर 2025 को DRDO ने भारतीय वायुसेना के Su-30MKI से स्वदेशी लॉन्ग-रेंज एयर-लॉन्च्ड ग्लाइड बम ‘गौरव’ का सफल परीक्षण किया, जो बिना विमान को जोखिम में डाले दूर से सटीक वार करने में सक्षम है और दुश्मन के एयर डिफेंस सिस्टम को चुनौती देता है।
- गौरव’ दो रूपों—Gaurav-PCB (बंकर-भेदी, मजबूत संरचनाओं के लिए) और Gaurav-PF (खुले ठिकानों व रणनीतिक टार्गेट्स पर विस्तृत नुकसान के लिए)—में विकसित किया गया है, जिससे पहाड़ी इलाकों, किलेबंद ठिकानों और सैन्य तैनाती पर प्रभावी हमला संभव होता है।
- Su-30MKI में ‘गौरव’ जुड़ने से उसकी लंबी दूरी की स्ट्राइक क्षमता और बढ़ गई है; विशेषज्ञों के अनुसार यह आधुनिक युद्ध में भारत की हाई-प्रिसिशन, स्टैंड-ऑफ स्ट्राइक क्षमता को मजबूत करता है और अपने इंजन व डिफेंस सिस्टम में आत्मनिर्भरता के भारतीय प्रयासों को गति देता है।
682. Agnikul raises $17 mn at $500 mn valuation; to focus on orbital launch, booster recovery
- On November 22, 2025, Agnikul Cosmos raised $17 million (₹150 crore), valuing the startup at $500 million, to support its upcoming second orbital mission featuring booster/propulsion system recovery on a barge, a world-first for small launch vehicles.
- The company plans to enhance reusability, improve unit economics, and expand launch services, with strong customer interest from Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, India, and upcoming outreach to US clients through its American office.
- The fresh capital will be used to increase launch frequency, scale production, and develop the 350-acre space campus at Kulasekarapattinam, enabling integrated design, manufacturing, testing, and launches, while building on the success of Agnikul’s first private-pad spaceflight and multiple global patents for rocket reusability.
683. Indian farm exports outperform – despite Trump tariffs
- On November 22, 2025 it was reported that Government data for April–September 2025 shows India’s agricultural exports rising 8.8% to $25.9 billion-outpacing overall merchandise export growth of 2.9%-driven by strong performance in non-basmati rice, buffalo meat, marine products, coffee, and fruits & vegetables.
- The growth was enabled by eased rice-export restrictions, surging global coffee prices, diversified seafood markets absorbing US tariff shocks, and rising shipments of farm goods despite export clampdowns linked to inflation control by the Modi government.
- Imports also grew 5.9% to $19.5 billion, led by vegetable oils, fresh fruits, and raw cotton. Falling global prices and US tariff changes will influence upcoming performance, though a potential India–US trade deal may offset pressure.

684. Centre sanctions Rs 137 crore aid to rebuild Mandi-Janjehli road in Seraj
- On November 22, 2025 it was reported that The Centre has approved ₹137.4 crore under the CRIF for reconstructing and upgrading the 83-km Mandi–Gagal–Chailchowk–Janjehli road in Mandi district, Himachal Pradesh, which was severely damaged during the 2025 monsoon.
- PWD Minister and former CM jointly pursued the issue with the Centre, leading to financial approval aimed at restoring connectivity, rebuilding disaster-hit infrastructure, and supporting affected communities.
- Additional CRIF sanctions include ₹38.5 crore for a 110-m double-lane bridge over the Beas from Piradi to Talogi in Kullu and ₹48.69 crore for upgrading the Jejon Mod–Tahliwal road to support the upcoming Bulk Drug Park.

685. Maharashtra Clears Rs 3,659-Crore ‘Nashik Parikrama’ Ring Road To Manage 5-Crore Kumbh Mela Traffic By 2027
- On 21 November, 2025, the Nashik-Trimbakeshwar Kumbh Mela Authority approved the ₹3,659.47-crore, 66.15 km Nashik Parikrama outer ring road project to manage traffic during the 2026–2028 Kumbh Mela.
- Divisional Commissioner Praveen Gedam chaired the meeting, granting administrative approval. MSIDC will execute the project, with tenders to be floated soon. The ring road will run from Adgaon, connecting major junctions around Nashik’s outskirts.
- Targeted for completion by March 2027, the road aims to ease congestion for over 5 crore expected pilgrims and improve long-term urban connectivity by diverting heavy traffic from central Nashik.

686. HUDCO and IDFC Foundation Sign Three-Year MoU to Collaborate on Capacity Development for India’s Urban Sector
- On November 21, 2025, HUDCO and the IDFC Foundation signed a three-year non-binding MoU in New Delhi to jointly strengthen India’s urban sector through capacity development and institutional support.
- HUDCO’s M. Nagaraj and IDFC Foundation’s Eby Thomas signed the MoU, outlining cooperation on training, research, advisory services, and multi-stakeholder capacity-building to improve technical, financial, and leadership capabilities in urban development institutions.
- The partnership will support HUDCO’s Urban Invest Window (UiWIN) and engage government bodies, ULBs, academia, private players and civil society to promote resilient, inclusive, and well-governed urban ecosystems aligned with national programme implementation.
687. Delhi CM lays foundation stone of Atal Canteen in Sanjay Basti
- On November 21, 2025 in Timarpur’s Sanjay Basti, Chief Minister of Delhi laid the foundation stone of an Atal Canteen and announced that 100 such canteens offering ₹5 meals will be inaugurated across Delhi on December 25.
- CM said the canteens will provide fresh, hygienic meals with RO water, digital tokens, CCTV monitoring, stainless-steel furniture and FSSAI-certified food quality. Minister said the initiative follows the Antyodaya philosophy to support vulnerable citizens.
- The ₹100-crore scheme aims to ensure no one sleeps hungry and will create employment, especially for women and gig workers. The government has allocated ₹700 crore for slum development and pledged pucca homes with toilets, kitchens and LPG connections for poor families.
688. IWAI Signs ₹3,000 Crore MoUs To Boost Inland Waterways And Industrial Connectivity In Northeast
- On November 22, 2025 it was reported that, During India Maritime Week 2025, the Inland Waterways Authority of India signed MoUs worth ₹3,000 crore to strengthen inland water transport and logistics across Assam and the Northeast, covering cargo movement, water metros, cruise tourism, and navigation infrastructure.
- IWAI signed MoUs with Assam Petro-Chemicals Ltd to transport methanol and formalin via IBPR and national waterways, and with the Assam government to develop Urban Water Transport systems in Tezpur, Guwahati, and Dibrugarh using electric hybrid boats and modern terminals.
- Additional MoUs include ₹500 crore for river cruise tourism, ₹1,000 crore with Rhenus Logistics for tug-barge modernisation, and ₹299 crore for cruise terminals. Minister said investments above ₹5,000 crore will unlock the Northeast’s connectivity, trade, and tourism potential.

689. Maharashtra Sees 11% Drop in Infant Deaths since 2020
- Child deaths in Maharashtra (in terms of absolute numbers) has seen an 11% decline over the last four years, according to data released by the state public health department on Wednesday. Despite this positive trend, public health activists have stressed the need to focus efforts on tribal and rural areas for further improvement.
- Deaths among children aged up to five years decreased from 19,185 in 2019-20 to 17,150 in 2022-23. About two-thirds of the deaths continue to be in babies less than a month old, a bracket that’s the most vulnerable to conditions such as sepsis, pneumonia, and low birth weight. The most significant drop, 15%, has been observed in infant (0-1 yr) deaths.
- Districtwise data collated by Maharashtra govt show neonatal (0-28 days) infant deaths decreased by nearly 9% in four years between 2019-20 and 2022-23. Deaths among children (1-5 yrs) saw a 13% drop.

690. Rajasthan Tops in Reducing Maternal Deaths with 28 point reduction
- Efforts in preventing deaths of women while pregnant or within 42 days of termination of pregnancy, have borne fruit. In Centre's two successive reports on maternal mortality ratio (MMR), Rajasthan has reported highest decline of 28 points in MMR in the country.
- The MMR in the state, which was 141 maternal deaths per 1 lakh live births in 2017-19, has reduced to 113 deaths per 1 lakh live births in 2018-20.
- A special bulletin on maternal mortality in India, 2019-20, released by ministry of home affairs on November 28, shows that MMR in Rajasthan has reduced to 113 deaths per 1 lakh live births, however, the state has a long way to go as it has to bring the MMR to 70 or below by 2030, which is the target.
