- 1. कोविड महामारी से लड़ने में भी डीआरडीओ का सक्रिय और सराहनीय योगदान रहा है। इसने पीपीई किट, सैनिटाइजर्स, मास्क, यूवी सिस्टम, वेंटिलेटर के महत्वपूर्ण भाग आदि उपलब्ध कराए
- 2. जिससे देश बहुत कम समय में पर्याप्त मात्रा में वेंटिलेटर निर्माण में सक्षम हो सका। कोरोना मरीजों के लिए ‘2-डीआक्सी-डी-ग्लूकोज’ नामक औषधि को डीआरडीओ द्वारा ही विकसित किया गया।
- 3. डीआरडीओ ने रक्षा क्षेत्र में भारत को स्वावलंबी बनाने में काफी योगदान किया है। अग्नि और पृथ्वी सीरीज की मिसाइलों का उत्पादन हो या फिर हल्के लड़ाकू विमान तेजस, मल्टी बैरल राकेट लांचर पिनाका, वायु रक्षा प्रणाली आकाश, रडार और इलेक्ट्रानिक युद्ध प्रणालियों की एक विस्तृत सीरीज विकसित करने में सर्वप्रमुख भूमिका इसी की रही है

- Working on its long-term commitment to sustainability, which is also one of the key pillars of the company’s 5-year vision, Apollo Tyres Ltd has ensured green power for its largest manufacturing facility in Chennai, in the southern part of the country. This will increase the share of renewable energy to more than 30% of the total for this manufacturing facility.
- Apollo Tyres has invested in CSE Deccan Solar, a subsidiary of Cleantech Solar, a sum of INR 93 million, for a 27.2% equity, to get a guaranteed supply of 40 million units of electricity per annum for its Chennai facility.
- Apollo Tyres has an installed capacity to produce around 900 metric tonnes of tyres per day in Chennai, which includes passenger vehicle tyres and light, medium & heavy commercial vehicle tyres.

- 1. Nilon’s का नाम अचार के साथ कुछ इस तरह से जुड़ा है कि बस नाम सुनते ही मुंह में पानी आ जाता है, लेकिन आज यह ब्रांड पास्ता सॉस, पास्ता मसाला, शेज़वान चटनी, सॉस जैसे कई उत्पादों के साथ मार्केट में मजबूती के साथ खड़ा है।
- 2. आज भले ही इस ब्रांड का टर्नओवर करोड़ो का हो, लेकिन सफर शुरु से इतना सुहाना नहीं था। चार सालों तक लगभग 50 प्रोडक्ट पर काम करने के बाद भी असफलता हाथ लगती रही।

- India successfully test-fired a new version of the supersonic cruise missile Brahmos off the Odisha coast in Balasore on Thursday, DRDO sources said.
- With new added technologies, including the control system, the missile was test-fired from the Integrated Test Range (ITR) launch pad-III at Chandipur around 10.45 am, said a source at the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).
- Earlier on January 11, the country had successfully test-fired BrahMos Supersonic Cruise missile from the Indian Navy's INS Visakhapatnam warship.

- 1. कृत्रिम गर्भाधान की IVF तकनीक से बन्नी नस्ल की भैंस के बछड़े का जन्म; IVF तकनीक से भारत में पहली बार भैंस का गर्भाधान किया गया। सरकार देश में पशुधन में सुधार लाने के लिये भैंसों के IVF को प्रोत्साहन दे रही है।
- 2. 16 दिसंबर, 2020 को बन्नी भैंसों के अंडाणु निकालने (ओपीयू) और उन्हें विकसित करके भैंस के गर्भशय में स्थापित करने (इन-विट्रो फर्टिलाइजेशन-आईवीएफ) की प्रक्रिया शुरू करने कि योजना बनाई गई।
- 3. कुल मिलाकर 29 अंडाणुओं से 18 भ्रूण विकसित हुये। इसकी बीएल दर 62 प्रतिशत रही। पंद्रह भ्रूणों को स्थापित किया गया और उनसे छह गर्भाधान हुये।

- 1. Several groups of researchers in the country are working upon solutions to reduce landslide-induced fatalities by providing early and accurate warnings so that traffic can be stopped on certain routes and people are relocated to safer places in time.
- 2. Agencies like Central Road Research Institute (CRRI), Central Building Research Institute (CBRI), Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology (Dehradun) and defence sector agencies like Boarder Roads Organization (BRO), Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Snow and Avalanche Studies Establishment (SASE) have been carrying out studies to minimise landslide-induced accidents and provide solutions.
- 3. The cost of installing this system is around Rs 80,000 which is the cheapest for such systems across the globe with the usual costs roughly being around Rs 2 crore.

- A few months ago LML announced its comeback to the Indian two-wheeler market by venturing into the electric mobility space. The defunct automaker has now announced a strategic partnership with Saera Electric Auto, a two-wheeler producer formerly manufacturing motorcycles for Harley Davidson in India.
- This development was confirmed through a media release shared by the company. As per the agreement, Saera’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Bawal, Haryana will be used to produce the upcoming LML electric vehicles. Kanpur-based LML is looking to play a big role in the rapidly rising adoption of battery-powered two-wheelers in India.
- The advanced and innovative infrastructure of Saera will now be utilised by LML to develop a wide range of EV products from the LML electric stable. The company revealed that it intends to build a future-ready manufacturing facility using Saera’s technology and processes. This is the first of the many steps taken by LML in its aim to be a 100 percent “Make in India” entity by the end of 2025.

- DRDO ने अभ्यास ड्रोन का सफलतापूर्वक परीक्षण किया, ओडिशा के चांदीपुर ITR से इसका परीक्षण किया गया, भारतीय रक्षा प्रणाली के लिए इसे अहम समझा जा रहा है
- यह हथियार प्रणाली को परीक्षण के लिए एक रियलिस्टिक खतरे का दृश्य देता है, जिसकी मदद से विभिन्न मिसाइलों या हवा में मार करने वाले हथियारों का परीक्षण किया जा सकता है।
- इस एयर व्हीकल को ट्विन अंडरस्लैंग बूस्टर का इस्तेमाल करते हुए लॉन्च किया गया। इस दौरान वैज्ञानिक उपकरणों की मदद से इसके मार्ग, स्पीड आदि की निगरानी करते रहे। यह एक छोटे से गैस टरबाइन इंजन से संचालित होता है। इसे स्वायत्त उड़ान के लिए बनाया गया है और यह अपने लक्ष्य को आसानी से भेद सकने में सक्षम है।
