21011. भारत में शुरू की गई चिया सीड्स की खेती, जानें क्या हैं इस फसल के फायदे
- उत्तर प्रदेश के बाराबंकी जिले में किसान अब ‘चिया सीड्स’ की खेती कर रहे हैं. दरअसल, विदेशी बाजारों में चिया सीड्स को ‘सुपर फूड’ के नाम से जाना जाता है, जो स्वास्थ्य के लिए बहुत लाभकारी है.
- पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी ने ‘मन की बात’ कार्यक्रम में चिया सीड्स की खेती करने वाले बाराबंकी के प्रगतिशील किसान कर्नल हरीश चंद का जिक्र किया था.
- इस बारे में कर्नल हरीश अन्य किसानों को सलाह देते हुए कहते हैं कि सभी को ऐसी खेती करनी चाहिए, जिससे कम खेत और कम खर्च में ज्यादा से ज्यादा मुनाफा कमाया जा सके और सरकार की मंशा के अनुरूप आय को बढ़ा सकें. चिया की खेती में भी कम खर्च में अधिक आमदनी होती है, इसके बीज भी हजार रुपये तक बिकते हैं.
21012. Govt approves Rs 726 cr highway projects in Madhya Pradesh.
- The government on Saturday said it has approved Rs 726 crore highway projects in Madhya Pradesh. These projects are for building 291 km of highways in the state.
- These projects include preparation of detailed project reports for upgradation of declared National Highway (572 Km) at a cost of 17.72 crore besides strengthening of road section of Sagar-Chhatarpur on NH 86/934 at a cost of 22.65 crore
- Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has sanctioned road development projects of 291 km worth 726 Cr for the state of Madhya Pradesh," Road Transport, Highways and MSME Minister Nitin Gadkari said in a tweet.

21013. Bihar Farming: अब मशरूम उगाएंगे कुदरा के किसान, कृषि विभाग की देखरेख में हो रही बोआई
- कृषि प्रौद्योगिकी प्रबंध अभिकरण (आत्मा) की मदद से स्थानीय प्रखंड के किसान अब मशरूम उगाएंगे। इसके लिए कृषि विभाग की तरफ से किसानों को सामग्री व तकनीक मुहैया कराई जा रही है। इससे किसानों के पोषण स्तर में सुधार होगा वहीं उनकी आमदनी भी बढ़ेगी।
- योजना के तहत प्रखंड के सकरी गांव के कुछ किसानों को मशरूम उत्पादन के लिए आत्मा के द्वारा प्रशिक्षण दिया जा रहा है। उन्होंने आत्मा के सहायक तकनीकी प्रबंधक रमाकांत की देखरेख में मशरूम की बिजाई भी कर दी है, जिसमें से कुछ सप्ताह बाद फसल आने लगेगी।
- कृषि विभाग के द्वारा करीब आधा दर्जन जैविक कृषि उत्पादक समूह बनाए गए हैं, जिनमें सकरी गांव के एक जैविक उत्पादक समूह तथा भदौला गांव के दो जैविक उत्पादक समूहों को मशरूम की खेती का प्रशिक्षण दिया जा रहा है। हर एक समूह में करीब 20 किसान हैं।

- इसका मकसद कृषि क्षेत्र के विशेषज्ञों और सर्वश्रेष्ठ स्टार्ट अप्स की मदद से किसानों के लिए सोल्यूशंस को डिजाइन करना और उन्हें तैयार करना था.
- आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलीजेंस का प्रयोग करके देश में किसानों को बाजार, इनपुट, डेटा, सलाह, क्रेडिट और इंश्योरेंस जैसी सुविधाओं का आसानी से मुहैया कराया जा सकता है

- Amazon.in on Sunday announced the launch of “Amazon Mentor Connect” programme ahead of its flagship event — Smbhav.
- The programme is aimed at accelerating the growth of start-ups and emerging brands enrolled in the Amazon Launchpad programme, helping them gain exclusive access to guidance from VCs, industry veterans and Amazon leaders through expert knowledge sharing sessions, networking events and 1:1 mentorship sessions.
- Mentors from educational institutions and VC firms like Fireside Ventures, DSG Consumer Partners, Elevation Capital, Tomorrow Capital have already signed up for this programme to contribute to the Indian start-up growth story.

21016. Siemens Partners With Hinduja Group's Switch Mobility to Set up Charging Infrastructure in India
- Siemens Limited and the Hinduja group’s Switch Mobility Automotive Limited have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to play in the electric commercial vehicles segment.
- Siemens also said Siemens Financial Services (SFS), the financing arm of Siemens AG, would consider a minority investment in OHM Global Mobility Private Limited, another Hinduja group company.
- While Switch Mobility would bring in its electric commercial vehicles into India, Siemens would provide the charging infrastructure technology and charging infrastructure management software solution to enhance the energy-efficient operations of the chargers, Siemens said.

21017. अब किसानों को बिचौलियों से मुक्ति, ऑनलाइन आवेदन से ले रहे अनुदान
- किसानों ने कृषि एवं किसान कल्याण विभाग की ऑनलाइन प्रक्रिया (Online process) को अब अपना लिया है। वर्ष 2019-20 के मुकाबले साल 2020-21 में ऑनलाइन आवेदन दोगुना से भी ज्यादा हुए।
- किसानों का कहना है कि डायरेक्ट बेनिफिट ट्रांसफर लागू करके सरकार ने बिचौलिए खत्म कर दिए हैं। पहले जहां कृषि विभाग से जान-पहचान वाले किसान ही सरकार की अनुदान वाली योजनाओं का फायदे उठाते हैं। अब कोई भी किसान ऑनलाइन आवेदन करके अनुदान प्राप्त कर सकता है।
- किसान अधिकतम तीन यंत्र के लिए ही इस योजना का लाभ उठा सकता है। यदि किसान 3 यंत्र से ज्यादा यंत्र के लिए आवेदन करता है तो उसका आवेदन केवल 3 यंत्रों के लिए ही स्वीकार किया जाए।
21018. Govt approves Rs 129 cr worth highway projects in Goa
- The government on Monday said it has approved Rs 128.66 crore worth of highway projects in Goa. The eight projects are for building 39.7 km of highways in the state.
- One of the projects is for four-laning of existing 2-lane section of Ribandar bypass of NH-748 (Old NH-4A) in the state with a budget Rs 53.27 crore, the minister said in a tweet.
- Other projects include strengthening sections of Panjim - Mangalore highway on NH-66 with a budget Rs 44.8 crore.

21019. ESaNTA platform for marine products to empower farmers: Piyush Goyal
- Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal on Tuesday said that e-commerce platform eSaNTA for marine products will empower farmers as they will be able to sell their produce at the click of a button through this portal.
- The platform would also provide more freedom, options and opportunities to fish and aqua farmers, he said, adding that it will ensure fair prices and traceability to both buyers and sellers.
- The minister suggested that the Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA) should have a rating system for both buyers and sellers on the portal as one can see the ratings and take decisions accordingly.
21020. NHAI makes deployment of Network Survey Vehicle mandatory to improve road quality
- The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) on Tuesday said it has made deployment of Network Survey Vehicle (NSV) mandatory to ensure better quality of roads. NSV uses high resolution camera to capture images of highways and has several other features.
- “NHAI has decided to deploy Network Survey Vehicle to enhance quality of the National Highways. Carrying out road condition survey using NSV on the National Highways has been made mandatory at the time of certifying completion of the project and every six months thereafter," the NHAI said in a statement.
- "The deployment will help in enhancing the overall quality of the highways as NSV uses the latest survey techniques such as high-resolution digital camera for 3,600 imagery, record images/videos at regular intervals, laser road profilometer and other related technology for measurement of distresses in road surface,", it said.
