20341. भारत सरकार ने अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मानसून परियोजना कार्यालय (International Monsoons Project Office) लांच किया
- प्रारंभ में पांच वर्षों के लिए, अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मानसून परियोजना कार्यालय (IMPO) पुणे में भारतीय उष्णकटिबंधीय मौसम विज्ञान संस्थान (IITM) पर आधारित होगा। देश की अर्थव्यवस्था के लिए मानसून के महत्व को उजागर करने के लिए IMPO की स्थापना की गई है।
- विश्व जलवायु अनुसंधान कार्यक्रम और विश्व मौसम अनुसंधान कार्यक्रम के नेतृत्व में, IMPO अंतरराष्ट्रीय मानसून अनुसंधान से संबंधित कनेक्शन और गतिविधियों को पहचानने और बढ़ावा देने के साथ-साथ इसमें शामिल होगा।
- IMPO की स्थापना का मतलब होगा कि एकीकृत वैज्ञानिक दृष्टिकोण का विस्तार किया जाएगा ताकि मानसून की मौसमी परिवर्तनशीलता को हल करने, चक्रवातों और मानसून की भविष्यवाणी कौशल में सुधार, बेहतर सेवाओं और समर्थन संचालन के लिए मानसून अनुसंधान को मजबूत करने और ज्ञान को बढ़ावा देने के लिए समाधान तैयार किया जा सके।

20342. भारत का 10-15 मिनट का डिलीवरी बाजार 3 साल में 5.5 अरब डॉलर का हो जाएगा
- भारत में 10-15 मिनट के भीतर किराना सामान घर तक पहुंचाने का चलन तेजी से बढ़ रहा है. इस सुविधा का लाभ हर कोई उठा रहा है. यही वजह है कि भारत में क्विक कॉमर्स वाणिज्य बाजार 2025 तक 15 गुना वृद्धि के साथ 5.5 बिलियन डॉलर तक पहुंचने का अनुमान है. गुरुवार को जारी एक नई रिपोर्ट में इसकी जानकारी दी गई है.
- देश में किराना बाजार 600 अरब डॉलर का है और उसका हिस्सा पाने के लिए तेज मुकाबला चल रहा है. अमेजॉन, वॉलमार्ट के फ्लिपकार्ट और मुकेश अंबानी की कंपनी रिलायंस के बीच इस बाजार पर कब्जे की होड़ लगी है.
- भारत में क्विक कॉमर्स के लिए कुल पता योग्य बाजार 45 अरब डॉलर का है और शहरी क्षेत्र इस बाजार को मध्यम-उच्च आय वाले परिवारों की पीठ पर चला रहे हैं.

20343. भारत में आधुनिक मोबाइल दूरसंचार क्षेत्र को आगे बढ़ाने के लिए सीओएआई, जीएसएम में करार
- उद्योग निकाय सीओएआई (सेल्यूलर ऑपरेटर एसोसिएशन ऑफ इंडिया) और जीएसएम (ग्लोबल सिस्टम फॉर मोबाइल कम्युनिकेशंस) ने देश में मोबाइल दूरसंचार क्षेत्र को आगे बढ़ाने और 'आपसी हितों के क्षेत्रों' में सहयोग के लिए समझौते किया है।
- इस समझौता ज्ञापन (एमओयू) पर स्पेन के बार्सिलोना में सीओएआई के महानिदेशक एस पी कोचर और जीएसएमए प्रमुख (एशिया-प्रशांत) जूलियन गोर्मन ने हस्ताक्षर किए।
- इस संबंध में जारी संयुक्त बयान में दोनों निकायों ने कहा कि हमने 'आपसी हित के क्षेत्रों' में काम और सहयोग करने के लिए एक बार फिर हाथ मिलाया है।
20344. 'We Welcome the Efforts': China Plays Down Reports of India Beating it in Vaccine Diplomacy
- China on Friday welcomed India supplying more COVID-19 vaccines to a number of countries, playing down reports that New Delhi has beaten Beijing in its vaccine diplomacy around the world.
- Responding to a question on a report that India has beaten China in its own game of vaccine diplomacy, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin during a media briefing said, We welcome that and hope to see more countries taking actions to provide vaccines to the world, especially developing countries, to help with the global response.
- "China has been overcoming domestic difficulties to provide vaccines to other countries in concrete measure," he said, flagging China's own vaccine requirement to inoculate its 1.4 billion population.
20345. दुनिया भारत को मैन्युफैक्चरिंग पावरहाउस के रूप में देख रही है : प्रधानमंत्री
- प्रधानमंत्री ने खनन, कोयला और रक्षा जैसे क्षेत्रों के खुलने से अपार संभावनाओं का जिक्र करते हुये कहा कि आपको वैश्विक मानकों को बनाए रखना होगा और आपको विश्व स्तर पर प्रतिस्पर्धा भी करनी होगी।इस बजट में ऋण सुविधा और प्रौद्योगिकी उन्नयन के माध्यम से एमएसएमई को महत्वपूर्ण महत्व दिया गया है।
- सरकार ने एमएसएमई के लिए 6,000 करोड़ रुपये के आरएएमपी कार्यक्रम की भी घोषणा की है। बजट में बड़े उद्योगों और एमएसएमई के लिए किसानों के लिए नए रेलवे लॉजिस्टिक्स उत्पादों को विकसित करने पर भी ध्यान केंद्रित किया गया है।
- डाक और रेलवे नेटवर्क के एकीकरण से छोटे उद्यमों और दूरदराज के क्षेत्रों में कनेक्टिविटी की समस्याओं का समाधान होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि पूर्वोत्तर क्षेत्र के लिए घोषित पीएम डिवाइन के मॉडल का उपयोग करके क्षेत्रीय विनिर्माण पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र को मजबूत किया जा सकता है। इसी तरह, विशेष आर्थिक क्षेत्र अधिनियम में सुधार से निर्यात को बढ़ावा मिलेगा।
20346. Covid-19: India-made vaccine part of Pakistan jab drive
- AstraZeneca’s Covishield vaccine to be distributed under global Covax alliance initiative.
- Pakistan has secured 17 million doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine against the novel coronavirus, out of which 35-40 per cent or 6 to 6.8 million doses will be available within the first quarter of the current year, the media reported on Sunday.
- "Happy to share that in addition to the 500,000 doses of Sinopharm, almost 7 million does (doses) of AstraZeneca to be made available in Q1 and given to the public free of cost," Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Health Dr Faisal Sultan said in a tweet on Saturday night.
- AstraZeneca’s Covishield made-in-India doses will be part of Pakistan’s free Covid vaccination drive under the , global Covax alliance, according to Dr Sultan.
20347. COVID-19 vaccination coverage in India crosses 1.34 crores
- As per the provisional report issued by the Ministry, till Day-42 of the vaccination drive, the 1.34 crore vaccination doses were registered through 2,78,915 sessions. This includes the first dose for 66.21 lakh healthcare workers, second dose for 20.32 lakh healthcare workers and the first dose for 48.18 lakh frontline workers.
- Nine states and Union Territories including Arunachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Telangana, Ladakh, Chandigarh, Nagaland, Punjab, and Puducherry have vaccinated less than 60 per cent of the registered healthcare workers.
- While 13 states -- Chandigarh, Nagaland, Telangana, Mizoram, Punjab, Goa, Arunachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Manipur, Assam, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Meghalaya, and Puducherry -- have vaccinated less than 40 per cent of the registered frontline workers, stated the ministry.

- The makers of Sputnik V Covid-19 vaccine, the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), are now expecting India to approve their vaccine following encouraging results on its efficacy.
- Interim analysis of the Phase 3 trial, conducted in Russia, has shown that Sputnik V has a 91.6 per cent efficacy against Covid-19, according to findings published in peer-reviewed journal The Lancet Tuesday.

20350. Acceptance for free, safe COVID-19 vaccine high among Indian women
- COVID-19 vaccine acceptance among pregnant women and mothers is the highest in India, the Philippines and some Latin American countries, according to a survey of 16 countries that asked questions premised on a safe and free preventive with 90 per cent efficacy.
