- ICMR और NIV ने रैपिड कोविड टेस्ट की नई किट डेवलप की है। इसके इस्तेमाल से कोरोना टेस्ट की लागत 40% तक घट जाएगी।
- साथ ही 30 मिनट के भीतर जांच रिपोर्ट मिल जाएगी। 2 हफ्ते के भीतर एयरपोर्ट्स और दूसरी जगहों पर इसका इस्तेमाल शुरू हो जाएगा।
- ओमिक्रॉन के बढ़ते खतरों को देखते हुए इस किट का प्रोडक्शन बढ़ाने के लिए कहा गया है।
23622. India has supplied over 723 lakh doses of COVID-19 vaccine to 94 countries, two UN entities: Government
- India supplied COVID-19-related medical and other assistance to over 150 countries since the beginning of the pandemic, Minister of State for Health Bharati Pravin Pawar said in written reply to a question in Rajya Sabha.
- Since the start of Vaccine Maitri Programme in January, 2021, India has supplied 723.435 lakh doses of Covid vaccine to 94 countries and two UN entities in the form of grant, commercial export or through COVAX till November 29, 2021
- The Government of India has so far already supplied 222.56 lakh of COVID-19 vaccine doses to COVAX, she stated.

23623. India’s defence exports in past seven years have crossed ₹38,000 crore: Rajnath Singh
- India has exported defence items worth more than ₹38,000 crore in the past seven years and the country hopes to become an overall net exporter soon, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said on December 4.
- india have an estimated ₹85,000 crore industry of aerospace and defence. The contribution of the private sector in this has increased to ₹18,000 crore
- The government aims to achieve the export target of ₹35,000 crore by 2024-25. Presently, India is exporting defence equipment to around 70 countries.

23624. India exports 9.39 lakh tonnes of sugar so far this marketing year: AISTA
- Sugar mills have exported 9.39 lakh tonnes of the sweetener till the first week of December during the ongoing 2021-22 marketing year that started from October 1.
- According to AISTA, mills have exported a total of 9,39,435 tonnes of sugar from October 1 to December 6, 2021.
- During the marketing year 2020-21, the country had exported a record 7.23 million tonnes of the sweetener. The maximum shipments were undertaken with the help of government subsidy.

23625. India exports Rs 27,575 cr worth of marine products in Apr-Sept: Centre
- The country exported 6.05 lakh tonnes of marine products worth Rs 27,575 crore in the first six months of the current financial year 2021-22 with the most exports undertaken from Andhra Pradesh
- About 83,995 tonnes worth Rs 3,309.82 crore marine products were exported from Kerala, 72,795 tonnes worth Rs 1,599 crore from Gujarat, 67,636 tonnes worth Rs 2,795 crore from Maharashtra, and 66,986 tonnes worth Rs 3,660.71 crore from Tamil Nadu
- During the financial year 2020-21, the country had exported 11.49 lakh tonnes of marine production valuing Rs 43,720 crore.

23626. 12-yr-old with rare liver disease undergoes successful multi-organ transplant in Chennai
- A 12-year-old boy with rare liver disease underwent a successful multi-organ transplant in Chennai's Gleneagles Global Health City.
- This is a very rare and unique disease. This boy has been diagnosed with Primary Hyperoxaluria (PH) type- II, which is a liver condition that results in accumulation of oxalate in the kidneys, heart and bones and other organ systems of the body.
- We transplanted his liver and kidneys. It was a risky procedure for a child. His aunt gave him liver and his mother gave him a kidney. A total of 20 doctors were involved in his surgery. The surgery took around 18 hours and the boy was discharged in 17 days.

23628. 81-yrs-old man in Hyderabad turns his home into museum with 900 antiques
- An 81-years-old man Y Krishnamurthy in Hyderabad has turned his home into a museum with 900 antique collections from across the world.
- His Collection consists of bronze, copper, brass, stone and an age-old vintage telephone. He also has a "Ghantam", an instrument that is used for writing on palm leaves.
- Krishnamurthy said that he does a lot of research in his free time to know the story behind the making of antiques

23630. कोरोना अपडेट: देश में 24 घंटे में 8 हजार से ज्यादा नये मरीज, वैक्सीनेशन का आंकड़ा 129.54 करोड़ के पार
- कोरोना के खिलाफ जंग में कारगर टीकाकरण अभियान के तहत देश में पिछले 24 घंटे में करीब 70 लाख टीके लगाए गए।
- इसी के साथ देश में अबतक 129.54 करोड़ टीके लगाए जा चुके हैं। केन्द्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय के मुताबिक बुधवार सुबह तक राज्यों एवं केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों को 139.51 करोड़ टीके की खुराक नि:शुल्क उपलब्ध कराई जा चुकी है। राज्यों के पास अभी भी 19.19 करोड़ टीके की खुराक मौजूद है।
- पिछले 24 घंटे में देशभर में कुल 8 हजार, 439 नए मरीज सामने आए हैं, जबकि कोरोना से ठीक होने वालों की संख्या 9 हजार, 525 दर्ज की गई।
