1801. Andhra Pradesh and Nvidia sign MoU to advance growth of AI ecosystem
- The Andhra Pradesh government signed an MoU with Nvidia on June 7, 2025, to develop the state's AI ecosystem by providing curriculum support and training to 10,000 engineering students over two years.
- Chief Minister announced plans to establish India's first AI University, in collaboration with Nvidia, to boost infrastructure, research, and innovation in the state.
- The state also announced the development of India’s first Quantum Computing Village in Amaravati, a 50-acre facility to support quantum research, with IBM and TCS finalizing the infrastructure for hosting IBM Quantum System Two.
1802. India launches ‘Ayush Nivesh Saarthi’ portal to boost investment in traditional medicine
- On 5 June, 2025, It was reported that, The Government of India launched the 'Ayush Nivesh Saarthi' portal on May 29, 2025, aiming to attract domestic and global investment in the traditional medicine and wellness sector.
- The portal was developed by the Ministry of Ayush in collaboration with Invest India, integrating policies, incentives, and real-time support to transform India into a global hub for Ayush-based healthcare.
- Union Ministers highlighted the sector’s investment potential, emphasizing 100% FDI, the use of over 8,000 medicinal plant species, and India's growing role in the global wellness economy.
1803. Tripura Raj Bhavan installs rooftop solar power plant
- On 7 June , 2025, Tripura Raj Bhawan installed a 40 KW rooftop solar power plant, launched by Tripura Governor , to promote clean energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
- The state government initiated a project to build 100 MW of solar capacity, aiming to supply electricity to 80,000 poor families using under 100 units monthly.
- Solar power was provided to 266 households under the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, as part of Tripura’s mission to install solar systems in 50,000 homes by March 2027.
1804. STPI-Hyderabad clocks Rs 1.4L cr software exports in FY 24-25
- On 8 June, 2025, It was reported that, STPI-registered IT units in Hyderabad exported software worth around ₹1.42 lakh crore in FY 2024-25, as part of over ₹10 lakh crore in exports from STPI units across India.
- STPI supported over 1,400 startups through 24 Centres of Excellence (CoEs) and NGIS, with 44% of them led by women entrepreneurs, many from small towns.
- STPI Hyderabad housed two CoEs, IMAGE and Kalpataru, which successfully nurtured 92 and 42 startups respectively, focusing on gaming, AI, and Industry 4.0 technologies.

1805. Nibe Limited receives technology transfer from DRDO for Modular bridging system
- On 7 June, 2025, It was reported that, Nibe Limited received the Transfer of Technology (ToT) from DRDO for the indigenous Modular Bridging System to support the "Make in India" and "Atmanirbhar Bharat" initiatives.
- The Modular Bridging System was developed by DRDO as a mobile, mechanically launched bridge capable of deploying up to 46 meters for tracked and wheeled vehicles.
- Nibe Limited was granted exclusive rights for 10 years to manufacture and supply the system to the Indian Armed Forces and government agencies.
