- 1. A team of students from hilly district of Kalimpong of West Bengal has developed an automatic hand sanitizer dispenser with bamboo and waste materials.
- 2. This device has been designed and developed mainly by Azel Karthak currently perusing his B.Tech (Electronics and communication) from Siliguri Institute of Technology, West Bengal with the help of team SAMARTHAN an NGO.
- 3. They have already placed this eco-friendly automated hand sanitizer in different public places, including the municipality, police station and hospitals.

- The Komaki Ranger belongs to the niche electric bike segment, which includes the Revolt RV400 and the soon-to-arrive Tork Kratos. Meanwhile, the Komaki Venice will lock horns with the Ola S1 Pro, TVS iQube Electric, and the Ather 450.
- india’s first electric cruiser bike looks the part, with a design seemingly inspired by old-school cruiser bikes. It gets a low seat, swept-back handlebars, and even chrome bits here and there.
- The Komaki Ranger packs a 4kW motor and a 4kWh battery pack. The company claims the Ranger can cover around 200km on a single charge, which is quite impressive. But we will reserve our judgement till the real-world test happens.

- 1. केरल के एर्नाकुलम में रहने वाले विनय कुमार बालाकृष्णन ने सीएसआईआर- नैशनल इंस्टिट्यूट फॉर इंटरडिसिप्लिनरी साइंस एंड टेक्नोलॉजी (NIIST) के वैज्ञानिकों के साथ मिलकर गेहूं के चोकर से बायोडिग्रेडेबल सिंगल यूज क्रॉकरी बनाई है।
- 2. इस इको-फ्रेंडली और ‘एडिबल’ सिंगल यूज क्रॉकरी को विनय कुमार ‘तूशान‘ (Thooshan) ब्रांड नाम से बाजार तक पहुंचा रहे हैं।
- 3. पशुओं के लिए चारे के रूप में इस्तेमाल किया जा सकता है। जमीन में दबाने पर ये कुछ ही दिनों में आसानी से डिस्पोज हो जाती हैं। अगर इन्हें जंगल में फेंका जाए तो ये पेड़-पौधों के लिए खाद का काम करती हैं।

- 1. राजस्थान में श्रीगंगानगर जिले के रहने वाले 62 वर्षीय गुरमैल सिंह धौंसी, एक फैब्रीकेटर, मैकेनिक और आविष्कारक हैं। उन्होंने कम्पोस्ट मेकर, ट्री प्रूनर जैसी 20 से ज्यादा मशीनें बनाई हैं।
- 2. साल 2007 में गुरमैल सिंह ने ‘कम्पोस्ट मेकर’ और ‘ट्री प्रुनर’ मशीन बनाई। इन दोनों मशीनों के लिए उन्हें राष्ट्रीय और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर सराहना मिली है।
- 3. अब तक वह 20 से ज्यादा मशीनें बना चुके हैं, जिनमें थ्रेसिंग मशीन के अलावा, लोडर, वाटर लिफ्टर, मिनी कंबाइन, रिज मेकर, वुड चीपर, कम्पोस्ट मेकर, ट्री प्रुनर जैसी मशीनें शामिल हैं।

- 1. बेंगलुरु में रहने वाले 42 वर्षीय महेश कृष्णन ने मिट्टी का घर (Mud House) बनाने की पहल की है।महेश ने अकेले ही 300 स्क्वायर फ़ीट जमीन पर काम किया।
- 2. महेश ने घर के निर्माण में लोकल रॉ मटीरियल का इस्तेमाल किया है जैसे- मिट्टी, गोबर, बांस, पत्थर, धान की पराली, ताड़ के पत्ते आदि। उनकी निर्माण तकनीक भी प्रकृति के अनुकूल ही रही।
- 3. इस घर के पास ही उन्होंने एक किचन गार्डन भी लगाया था ताकि लोगों को शुद्ध सब्जियां भी मिले।

- 1. The alcohol free, aqueous, non-inflammable and non-toxic hand sanitizer has been developed from Silver Nanoparticles by a Pune based start-up.
- 2. The hand sanitizer developed by WeinnovateBiosolutions prolongs antimicrobial activity thus obviating the need for repeated applications.Silver nanoparticles give slow and sustained release of silver ions to kill microorganisms that come in contact. Besides, it can be stored in ambient conditions.
- 3. A study to evaluate the efficacy of hand sanitiser on different types of viruses is also currently underway by the group.

- Kinetic Green Energy & Power Solutions has announced that they are entering into a collaboration with global electric vehicle giant, Aima Technology Group, to co-design and develop electric two-wheelers for the growing Indian market. Kinetic and Aima have entered into a long-term collaboration to co-develop electric two-wheeled vehicles for Indian consumers

- StanPlus has raised $20 million to cut down its response time from 15 to eight minutes. It has raised an additional $2 million from Grip Invest for leasing ambulances. The company has a network of 3,000 ambulances, of which it owns 200.
- The company also plans to use this capital to work with over 500 hospitals across 15 metro and Tier II regions of India — including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Jaipur and Ahmedabad — in the next 18 months. It has raised an additional $2 million from Grip Invest for leasing ambulances.

- In the next three months, Isro is targeting to launch five satellite missions involving three rocket launches, which also include the maiden launch of India’s first newly-developed small satellite launch vehicle (SSLV or mini-PSLV) targeted at scaling up launches of small-sized commercial satellites.
- the Isro chairman mentioned a RISAT-1A satellite launch with PSLV C5-2 rocket scheduled for February, OCEANSAT-3, INS2B and ANAND satellite launches by PSLV C-53 in March and SSLV-D1 launching a microSAT in April.
- Before the final manned mission in 2023, Isro is planning to launch two unmanned missions, the second one will carry a ‘vyommitra (humanoid)’, before the final mission involving two or three gagannauts to space for seven days.
