781. NTPC Green begins land work for 25 GW solar parks in Rajasthan
- On November 11, 2025, It was reported that, NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) began land development across 50,000 hectares in Rajasthan’s Bikaner and Jaisalmer districts to build a 25 GW solar park cluster under India’s renewable energy roadmap.
- The project, backed by an MoU between NGEL and the Rajasthan government, is part of NTPC’s goal to achieve 60 GW renewable capacity by 2032, with phased execution and support from state authorities.
- A joint venture, NTPC Rajasthan Green Energy Limited (NRGEL), is also developing a 1,500 MW solar project on 6,400 acres in Bikaner’s Pugal Solar Park, strengthening Rajasthan’s role as India’s solar energy hub.
782. Centre earmarks ₹100 crore for biomass-to-hydrogen pilots to cut fossil fuel imports
- On November 11, 2025, at the 3rd International Conference on Green Hydrogen in New Delhi, Union minister for New and Renewable Energy announced ₹100 crore pilot projects using biomass to produce green hydrogen under the National Green Hydrogen Mission (NGHM).
- Union Minister said BIRAC will invite proposals for biomass-based hydrogen technologies, aiming to cut ₹1 lakh crore fossil fuel imports and create 6 lakh green jobs through ₹8 lakh crore investments.
- India targets 5 MMT annual green hydrogen output by 2030 with ₹19,744 crore outlay, incentives for 3,000 MW electrolyser capacity, 8.62 lakh MTPA production, and major projects including ₹208 crore for hydrogen vehicles and stations.
783. India crosses 5 lakh 5G towers despite slower growth
- On 10 November, 2025 it was reported that, In October 2025, India added 4,144 new 5G base transceiver stations (BTS), bringing the total to 508,732 nationwide.
- According to the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), the gradual rollout reflects a temporary moderation, while BSNL continues expanding rural connectivity using its indigenously developed 4G technology.
- The DoT emphasized that BSNL’s 4G network is supporting rural development in farming, education, healthcare, and employment, aligning with the government’s focus on affordable and inclusive digital infrastructure across India.
784. AP Cabinet clears Rs 1 lakh crore investments
- On November 11, 2025 in Vijayawada, the Andhra Pradesh Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister approved investment proposals worth nearly ₹1 lakh crore across quantum computing, clean energy, infrastructure, agriculture, and industry sectors.
- Information Minister announced that the Cabinet’s Quantum Computing Policy (2025–30) aims to attract $1 billion investments, create 5,000 jobs, and establish the Amaravati Quantum Computing Centre with IBM and TCS collaboration.
- Major approvals include ₹595 crore for flood infrastructure, ₹1,863 crore for trunk roads, ₹7,500 crore urban loans, a 1,000-acre Renewable Zone in Bapatla, and multiple new industries in Visakhapatnam, Tirupati, Orvakal, Nellore, and Anantapur districts.
785. CM Naidu announces Universal Health Coverage Scheme for Andhra
- On November 09, 2025, in Guntur district, of Andhra pradesh Chief Minister announced that Andhra Pradesh will introduce a Universal Health Coverage Scheme offering Rs 2.5 lakh medical insurance to all residents.
- CM said the government will extend medical assistance up to Rs 25 lakh for the poor, digitise health records of six crore residents, and collaborate with the Bill Gates Foundation for technology transfer through an ongoing pilot initiative.
- Speaking at the inauguration of the new Shankara Eye Hospital building at Pedakakani, he noted that the centre has already performed over four lakh surgeries and nine lakh examinations, and will operate as a Super Specialty Eye Care Centre under Shankaracharya’s guidance.
786. 227 postgraduate doctors posted at secondary hospitals in Andhra Pradesh
- On November 09, 2025, in Vijayawada, the Andhra Pradesh government announced the appointment of 227 in-service postgraduate doctors to 142 secondary hospitals to tackle the shortage of specialists in rural and semi-urban healthcare facilities.
- Health Minister, along with officials KVN Chakradhar Babu and Dr Padmavathi, oversaw the allocation plan, deploying doctors across hospitals based on need and ensuring balanced specialist coverage statewide.
- The new specialists include gynecologists, surgeons, pediatricians, radiologists, and others; Gudur Area Hospital received the most postings. Additionally, 155 more specialists will soon join CHCs and hospitals, reinforcing the state’s healthcare infrastructure and patient access.
787. India, Saudi Arabia sign MoU to boost cultural cooperation
- On November 09,2025, in Riyadh, India and Saudi Arabia signed an MoU to expand cultural cooperation across arts, heritage, literature, music, tourism and creative sectors under the Strategic Partnership Council.
- India’s Culture and Tourism Minister and Saudi Arabia’s Culture Minister Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan Al Saud co-chaired bilateral talks and formalised the MoU, enabling institutional exchanges and festival participation.
- This was the first meeting of both Culture Ministers since the Ministerial Committee was created after PM Modi’s April 2025 Jeddah visit, and the agreement will accelerate broader cultural linkages beyond trade and investment.

788. India’s Defence Production Hits Worth Of Rs 1.51 Lakh Cr: Rajnath Singh
- On November 10, 2025 in New Delhi, Defence Minister reviewed DPSUs and confirmed India’s defence production reached a record Rs 1.51 lakh crore in FY 2024-25, with exports touching Rs 6,695 crore.
- Defence Minister praised all 16 DPSUs for their contribution to self-reliance and directed them to set measurable R&D and indigenisation targets, while four DPSUs were felicitated with Miniratna Category-I status for efficiency and proven operational capability.
- HAL and BDL signed MoUs with Yantra India to build a 10,000-ton forging press and modernise facilities, another MoU formed a Metal Bank at MIDHANI, and two DPSUs achieved 100% renewable energy usage under the SWAYAM green defence manufacturing mission.
789. ISRO Develops Advanced Lunar Data Products From Chandrayaan-2, Enhancing Future Moon Exploration
- On November 08, 2025, ISRO announced that Chandrayaan-2 Orbiter, currently circling the Moon since 2019, has generated advanced radar data products from the lunar polar regions to improve future global exploration and scientific understanding.
- ISRO scientists at the Space Applications Centre, Ahmedabad, used nearly 1,400 DFSAR datasets and indigenously developed full-polarimetric algorithms to extract detailed parameters of surface ice, roughness, and dielectric properties.
- The DFSAR instrument is the first L-band full-polarimetric mapper at 25-meter resolution, enabling first-order insights into Moon’s preserved early solar system chemistry and complementing existing hyperspectral mineral mapping, while ISRO also recently launched CMS-03 using LVM3-M5 rocket.

790. DDA launches second phase of Jan Sadharan Awaas Yojana housing scheme
- The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) launched the second phase of the Jan Sadharan Awaas Yojana housing scheme, offering around 1,500 affordable flats across well-connected areas of the city, officials said on 8 Novemebr 2025.
- The scheme, launched on November 7, offers flats under the low-income group and economically weaker section (EWS) categories, located across key areas of Delhi like Shivaji Marg, Ramgarh Colony, Rohini, and Narela.
- "All flats in Rohini, Ramgarh Colony, and Shivaji Marg were booked on the first day itself," the DDA said in a statement.
