2521. IPGMER first govt hosp in E India to launch robotic op
- On 12 march 2025 Robotic surgery is set to debut at IPGMER, making it the first govt hospital in eastern India to bring in this technology to boost healthcare.
- The facility will be installed at Rs 6.4 crore, an amount already sanctioned by the state health department.
- The hospital plans to start deploying this technology for surgical procedures in fields, like general surgery, urology and gynaecology before it expands the spectrum.
2522. ESR India Launches First In-park EV Charging Station at Taloja Logistics Park
- On 11 march 2025, ESR Group, Asia-Pacific's leading New Economy real asset manager, has launched its first integrated Electric Vehicle charging infrastructure at its 89-acre Grade A Taloja Industrial and Logistics Park in India.
- The initiative aligns with ESR’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) 2030 Roadmap to decarbonise and drive sustainability in the Company’s operations – paving the way for a cleaner, more sustainable logistics transportation system in Maharashtra and supporting the Government of India’s plan to achieve net zero emissions by 2070.
- The EV charging station can charge up to 10 EVs and a variety of EV models simultaneously, catering to the different needs of businesses and tenants across ESR Taloja’s 14 buildings spanning 1.9 million square feet (over 175,000 square metres) of space. Six of these charging stations rated at 7.4 kilowatts (kW) are designed for four-wheelers, while the remaining stations rated at 3.3kW are for two-wheelers.
2523. Tata Power Renewable Energy Signs MoU with Andhra Pradesh to Boost Renewable Energy Capacity
- On 10 march 2025, Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd (TPREL), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop up to 7,000 megawatts (MW) of renewable energy capacity in the state.
- The project, which includes solar, wind, and hybrid energy solutions, represents an estimated investment of ₹49,000 crore ($5.6 billion).
- The agreement is a major boost to wind energy development in Andhra Pradesh, aligning with the state’s Integrated Clean Energy Policy. As part of the initiative, TPREL will conduct feasibility studies and develop wind power projects, leveraging the region’s strong wind potential to enhance clean energy production.

- On 11 march 2025 The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has launched AIKosha, a secured platform designed to drive AI innovation by offering a repository of models, datasets, and use cases.
- AIKosha also includes AI sandbox capabilities with an amalgamated development environment alongside tools and tutorials to support developers and researchers.
- The latest initiative includes AIKosha: IndiaAI Datasets Platform, the AI Competency Framework for Public Sector Officials, the AI Compute Portal, iGOT-AI Mission Karmayogi

2526. Stalin inaugurates Godrej’s ₹515-crore plant
- on (March 10, 2025) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister inaugurated Godrej Consumer Products Limited’s ₹515-crore manufacturing facility in Thiruporur taluk of Chengalpattu district near Chennai.
- Speaking at the event, Mr. Stalin said the facility showed Godrej Group’s trust in Tamil Nadu. “Tamil Nadu is a key market for fast-moving consumer products as many companies have set up their bases here. Tamil Nadu is a favoured destination for investors.
