- 1) वारंगल में गोपालपुरम गाँव के रहने वाले, राजू मुप्परपु ने मकई की भूसी का उपयोग कर Eco-Friendly Pen का आविष्कार किया है।
- 2) राजू ने अपने स्कूल के दिनों में एक हुनर सीखा था, उसे ही ध्यान में रखते हुए, उन्होंने मकई की भूसी से पेन की रीफिल बनाने के बारे में सोचा। जिसके लिए, उन्होंने मकई की भूसी को सिलिंड्रिकल शेप में ढालने का फैसला किया।
- 3) मकई की भूसी से 100 से ज्यादा पेन बनाने वाले राजू कहते हैं, “डिस्पोजेबल पेन बनाने से, प्लास्टिक के कचरे को कम करने और मकई की भूसी को जलाने से रोकने में मदद मिलेगी।”
- 4) इस एक पेन की कीमत 10 रुपये है। राजू अब तक, IAS पमेला सत्पथी के ऑफिस में 100 पेन बना कर भेज चुके हैं और बाकी 900 पेन बनाने का काम जारी है। तेलंगाना स्टेट इनोवेशन सेल (TSIC) द्वारा उनके आधिकारिक ट्विटर हैंडल पर, राजू के इस आविष्कार की सराहना किए जाने के बाद, उन्हें और ज़्यादा ऑर्डर मिल रहे हैं।

- 1) कोट्टायम, केरल के रहने वाले मैथ्यूस के. मैथ्यू ने एक खास यंत्र का आविष्कार किया है, जो सूरज की रोशनी की मदद से मच्छरों को खत्म कर सकता है।
- 2) जिसका नाम उन्होंने ‘हॉकर’ (Hawker) रखा है। हॉकर एक ऐसा यंत्र है, जो सार्वजनिक क्षेत्रों में मच्छरों को पकड़कर खत्म करता है।
- 3) वह कहते हैं कि मच्छरों से राहत पाने के लिए एक गैस का छिड़काव कराया जाता है, जो हानिकारक होता है। मैथ्यूस मच्छरों को खत्म करने का कोई ऐसा तरीका अपनाना चाहते थे, जो रसायन मुक्त हो और इससे किसी को कोई नुकसान न हो।

- HR tech startup, Darwinbox, headquartered in Hyderabad has raised $72 million in a fresh funding round valuing the company at over $1 billion.
- This was a Series D round led by Technology Crossover Ventures (TCV), which is known for backing Netflix, Spotify, Meta earlier.
- The company claims to have grown 200 per cent since the last fund raise from Salesforces Ventures, exactly 12 months ago.

- The 62-km Outer Ring Road (ORR) project which was completed last year may soon turn into a new housing and commercial hub as CBRE, a global commercial real estate
- estate and investment services firm, has submitted a feasibility report to the Tamil Nadu Urban Infrastructure Financial Services Limited for commercial development of 50m strip along the entire 62-km stretch of the road.
- The report has recommended developing a racing circuit that can be used by automobile manufacturers to host international races and to test their vehicles in India rather than sending them to foreign countries

- Amai Mahalinga Naik, a labourer from Karnataka, has been selected as one of the Padma Shri awardees this year. He is set to receive the honour for his contribution towards agriculture.
- He had converted a piece of barren land into a flourishing farm in Kepu village some distance off from Mangaluru,
- Naik is often hailed as the ‘Suranga Man’ or the ‘Tunnel Man’ and is known for being a one-man army. Naik is unlettered, and has relentlessly kept on in his pursuit for over 40 years.
