- 1. अमित नारंग द्वारा 2018 में स्थापित, चंडीगढ़ स्थित स्टार्टअप पेमार्ट (PayMart) ने कैश निकालने के लिए एटीएम, माइक्रो एटीएम या पीओएस मशीन की आवश्यकता को समाप्त कर दिया है।
- 2. 2018 में सीरियल उद्यमी अमित नारंग द्वारा स्थापित, चंडीगढ़ स्थित स्टार्टअप ने मुंबई, चंडीगढ़, अंबाला, मोहाली, इंदौर, अहमदाबाद और दिल्ली में 50,000 से अधिक व्यापारियों का नेटवर्क बनाया है और भारत के प्रतिष्ठित बैंकों के साथ करार किया है।
- 3. जब कोई ग्राहक अपने मोबाइल बैंकिंग ऐप पर कैश निकासी की रिक्वेस्ट भेजता है, तो बैंक द्वारा एक ओटीपी जनरेट होता है। ग्राहक इस ओटीपी को किसी भी नजदीकी पार्टनर मर्चेंट के पास लेकर जा सकता है।
- 4. फिर वह पार्टनर मर्चेंट उस ओटीपी को अपने मोबाइल में इंस्टॉल पेमार्ट के सॉफ्टवेयर में डालता है और रिक्वेस्ट को प्रोसेस करता है।
- 5. एक बार बैंक द्वारा अप्रूव होने के बाद, वह मर्चेंट ग्राहक को कैश सौंप देता है और पैसे उसके खाते से कट जाते हैं। पेमार्ट प्लेटफॉर्म को बैंक से प्रति कैश निकासी पर शुल्क प्राप्त होता है जिसका 70 प्रतिशत वह व्यापारी के साथ साझा करता है। व्यापारियों को महीने के अंत तक एक समेकित कमीशन प्राप्त होती है (Your Story, 9 August 2021)

- Sequoia Capital India, the Indian arm of the US-based investment company, tops the list of the Hurun India Top Unicorn Investors List, 2020, brought out by the Hurun Research Institute this (Wednesday) morning.
- The second position is shared by Japan’s SoftBank and the UK’s Steadview Capital with investments in seven Indian unicorns each.
- In July 2020, it announced its intentions to invest $1.35 billion through a venture fund of $525 million and a growth fund of $825 million. Geographically, both these funds will be focussed on making investments in India and South East Asia.

- 3. The startup claims to have acquired over 5,400 customers across 100+ business categories. Abhinavv says that last month alone MBG Card acquired about 600 customers.
- 4. Abhinavv clarifies that while the aim is to empower small businesses, the services can be availed by any business -- from hotel chains and freelancers to kirana stores -- that want to grow their business online.

- Uber launched an on demand 24x7 Auto Rentals service in India. The service allows riders to book an auto and its driver for several hours with the liberty to make multiple stops along a journey, it said in a statement.
- The service in now live in Bengaluru and is available in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai and Pune, it said.
- Prices start at Rs 169 for a one-hour/ ten km package with the option of selecting from multiple hourly packages that can be booked up to a maximum of eight hours, the statement said.

- US wireless carrier Verizon Communications Inc and Amazon.com Inc may invest more than $4 billion for a stake in India's Vodafone Idea Ltd, the Mint newspaper reported on Thursday, sending shares in the struggling Indian telecom firm up 10 per cent.
