- कन्फेडरेशन ऑफ ऑल इंडिया (कैट) ने स्वदेशी ई-कार्ट 'भारत ई मार्केट' की शुरुआत की है. कैट का दावा है कि इससे विदेशी व्यपारियों को प्रोत्साहन मिलेगा और देश का व्यापार देश की अर्थव्यवस्था को बढ़ाएगा.
- स्वदेशी कंपनियां भारत के व्यापार से फायदा उठा रही हैं और कई सारे कानूनों को नजरअंदाज कर रही हैं.इसलिए कैट ने स्वदेशी उत्पादों को इंटरनेट के जरिए व्यापक करने का फैसला लिया है.
- कैट के अनुसार इस मुहीम के जरिए दिसंबर 2021 तक सात लाख व्यापारियों को ऐप से जोड़ने का लक्ष्य रखा गया है. पहले चरण में व्यापारियों और सेवा प्रदाताओं के जरिए अपनी ई-दुकान बनाने के लिए एक मोबाइल ऐप को लांच किया गया है.

- Foreign direct investment (FDI) into India grew by 15 per cent to USD 30 billion during the first half of the current fiscal, according to official data
- Inflow of FDI during April-September 2019-20 stood at USD 26 billion, as per the data of the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT).
- Sectors which attracted maximum foreign inflows during April-September 2020-21 included computer software and hardware (USD 17.55 billion), services (USD 2.25 billion), trading (USD 949 billion), chemicals (USD 437 million) and automobile (USD 417 million).

- Founded in 2018, Bengaluru-based edtech startup Openhouse began with offline centres for after-school academic and extracurricular classes.
- The COVID-19 pandemic forced the startup, which focuses on experience-based learning, to go online.
- Openhouse offers online learning solutions for school students from Classes 6 to 12, but most students as of now are from Class 8 and above. The classes are held in groups, with 15 students per batch.
- Students can learn all subjects, including mathematics, physics, chemistry, history, geography, English among others. Apart from this, students have access to four extracurricular clubs - public speaking, performing arts, entrepreneurship, and community service.
