21051. आत्मनिर्भर उद्योग:खुद पर भरोसा कर बना दिए स्वदेशी उत्पाद, अब चीन से नहीं मंगाने पड़ेंगे, रोजगार भी तीन गुना तक बढ़ाया
- भिवाड़ी दो बड़ी कंपनियां इलेक्ट्रिक टू व्हीकल की ओकीनावा और इलेक्ट्रॉनिक की भगवती ऑटोमोबाइल ने अपने आपको पूरी तरह स्वदेशी रुप में ढाल लिया है। इन दोनों ही कंपनियों में कोरोना के बाद काम भी बढोतरी हुई है। पथरेड़ी में बने प्रदेश के एकमात्र एमएसएमई सेंटर पर अब बैटरी के जिग बनने लगे हैं। पहले ये जिग चीन से आयात किए जाते थे।
- सेंटर के चार शिक्षकों की टीम ने मेहनत की। अभी तक सेंटर पर इन्वर्टेड कंपनी के लिए 20 जिग बनाकर भेजे जा चुके हैं। खुश्खेड़ा में भगवती प्रोडक्ट के यूनिट हैड गजेंद्र सिंह के अनुसार कंपनी का का टर्नओवर 1000 करोड़ तक पहुंच चुका है।
- कंपनी में पूरी तरह स्वदेशी टीवी, मोबाइल और एसी बन रहे हैं। गत वर्ष कोरोना से पहले मार्च तक कंपनी में कंपनी में 400 मजदूर काम करते थे। आज सामान की बढ़ती डिमांड के बाद मजदूरो की संखया 1300 से अधिक हो गई है। इलेक्ट्रिक स्कूटर की ओकीनावा कंपनी मालिक जितेंद्र शर्मा ने पहले कंपनी में प्रतिदिन 100 स्कूटर बनते थे, जो अब बढ़कर 150 तक हो गए हैं। लेकिन मार्केट में आवश्यकता प्रतिदिन 200 स्कूटर की है।

21053. Mobile Integrated Network Terminal (Mint) For Indian Army Under AatmanirbharBharat Abhiyaan
- The Indian Army is in the process of procuring Mobile Integrated Network Terminal (MINT) systems under Make II Category of DAP 2020. The system is envisaged as a lightweight, portable, state of art integrated communication solution with satellite backhauls and wireless access system to support voice, video and data.
- Post evaluation of response submitted by the Indian Industry, a total of 11 (eleven) firms have been issued with the Project Sanction Order on 12 March 2021 for development of prototype.
- The Contract will subsequently be placed with one of the firms on successful development of prototype as per provisions of Buy (Indian-IDDM) of DAP 2020. Development of MINT systems will enhance the operational communication capability of the field army in consonance to the self-reliance vision of “Aatmanirbhar Bharat” for Defence production.
21054. Bhopal: ‘Vocal for Local’ theme at 10-day ‘Hunar Haat’
- The 10-day ‘Hunar Haat’, organised by the Union ministry of minority affairs on the theme of ‘Vocal for Local’, began at the Lal Parade Ground in the city .
- The Haat, which will continue till March 21, will be formally inaugurated by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan at 11 am in the presence of the Union minority affairs minister, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi.
- More than 600 artisans and craftsmen from 31 states and Union Territories are participating in the event. They have set up a total of 212 stalls.
21055. Nazara to become first gaming firm to list on Indian exchanges
- Rakesh Jhunjunwala-backed Nazara Technologies Ltd will become the first Indian gaming company to go public, with its initial public offering (IPO) set for launch. The company has fixed a price band of ₹,100-1,101 per share for the ₹583 crore share sale.
- The IPO will raise the company’s profile globally and open the doors to more investment opportunities in future,said the company’s management Jhunjhunwala, the company’s core promoter and investor with an 11.51% stake, will remain on the board of directors and provide mentorship.
- The IPO is a pure secondary sale of shares by existing shareholders, so the company will not be raising fresh cash for its business through the IPO. Nazara has cash reserves of ₹300 crore. Nazara’s core business includes eSports, gamified learning, freemium gaming and telco-based subscription.

21056. Realme partners Khy Electronics to make wearables in India (Pro-Bharat)
- Fast growing smartphone brand Realme has partnered with contract manufacturer Khy Electronics to assemble Realme smart watches, making it the first Chinese company to make wearables in India
- India is the third largest hearbles and wearables market and the segment has registered triple-digit growth of 144.3% in 2020 with 36.4 million shipments due to price corrections and greater acceptability of these lifestyle devices, research firm IDC, India had said in its report.
- “The government’s focus on Make in India is gaining momentum by gradually establishing the manufacturing ecosystem,” said Navkender Singh, research director at IDC, India. “Realme might be engaging with multiple OEMs to make India its manufacturing hub and start exports because the Oppo factory, which generates 50 million units per year, is currently sufficient to meet the local demand.”
21057. Aatmanirbhar Package: Centre rolls out Rs 27 lakh crore economic revival plan
- The Union government has announced to pump over Rs 27 lakh crore for its flagship initiatives including Digital India, Make in India, Swachh Bharat Mission, Smart City Mission, Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation, Housing for All, Infrastructure development and Industrial corridors to not just bring the economy back in order but also to generate ‘productive employment opportunities.
- In his written submission in Rajya Sabha Gangwar said that the Aatmanirbhar Bharat Rozgar Yojna (ABRY) Scheme has been launched to incentivise employers for the creation of new employment along with social security benefits and restoration of loss of employment during the Covid-19 pandemic.
- Gangwar further informed that the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY) has been initiated by the Centre inter alia, for facilitating self-employment. Under the PMMY, collateral-free loans upto Rs 10 lakh, are extended to micro/small business enterprises and to individuals to enable them to support or expand their business activities.
21058. 'Aluminium demand to boost India's industrial vision: IIFT
- India is set to witness burgeoning demand for aluminium as it strives to achieve 25 per cent of GDP from the manufacturing sector by 2022, according to a survey by the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT).
- The surge in demand will be led by the 'Make in India' initiative coupled with increasing urbanisation, development of industrial corridors, rural electrification, smart city projects, housing for all, and various other infrastructural projects, it said.
- The study provides an overview of Indian aluminium industry, analyses the efficacy of present policies with a focus on contemporary trade situation, and recommends suitable policy options to enhance competitiveness of the downstream industry. The study also discusses green properties of the metal and climate change-related issues to assess future path for Indian aluminium industry.

21059. Army to organize 3-day snow sports festival in Jammu and Kashmir’s Bhaderwah to revive tourism
- The snow-bound Bhaderwah in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir is all set to host a three-day snow sports festival from Friday, thanks to the Army which has come forward to give a boost to the efforts of the administration to revive pandemic-hit tourism industry.
- Army’s Rashtriya Rifles unit based at Bhaderwah is holding the three-day snow carnival from February 18 in collaboration with district administration Doda and Jawahar Institute of Mountaineering in the picturesque valley, also known as mini-Kashmir for its resemblance with the ‘paradise on earth’.
- In the run-up to the three-day festival, different activities like snow sledging, skiing, boarding and snowman making are going on at Thanthera, Jaie Valley, Sartingal and Padri under the supervision of Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Thathri, Athar Amin Zargar who has been appointed nodal officer of the festival.
21060. India News | Devika Rejuvenation Project in J&K's Udhampur to Be Completed by June: Union Minister
- The work on the river Devika Rejuvenation project in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir will be completed by June, Union minister Jitendra Singh said on Sunday, asserting that various centrally-sponsored projects would give a new identity to his Lok Sabha constituency at the national level.
- He also expressed hope that the academic session for MBBS courses in the newly set up medical colleges of Udhampur would commence from the next academic year.
- The work on the prestigious Rs 186.74 crore project, which has been included in Government of India's National River Conservation Project (NRCP), started in March 2019 and was scheduled to be completed in two years. However, the project missed the deadline due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
