- Bengaluru-based Able Jobs is a startup that trains entry-level, non-tech graduate job seekers for the role of sales and support.
- They launched Able Jobs in May 2019 out of Bengaluru. Backed by Y Combinator, the startup has raised a total of $1.8 million in its seed round from Y Combinator, Elevation Capital (Saif Partners), Titan capital, Firstcheque, and marquee angels like Neeraj Arora.
- Able Jobs trains entry-level job seekers for roles in sales and support. Job seekers can download their app and go through the training courses available. Post completion, the team connects them to companies that are hiring for suitable roles.

- The bid was won through its renewables subsidiary, Sembcorp Green Infra, in an auction conducted by SECI
- SEIL has received the letter of award from SECI to develop the project in Rajasthan connected to the state’s transmission utility Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam. The project’s entire output will be sold to SECI under a 25-year long-term power purchase agreement, according to a press release.
- With this win, the firm now has a renewables portfolio of over 3,000 MW in operation and under development across Singapore, China and India.

- Union Minister for Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal today launched the Startup India Seed Fund Scheme (SISFS). The Fund aims to provide financial assistance to startups for proof of concept, prototype development, product trials, market entry and commercialization.
- An amount of 945 crore rupees corpus will be divided over the next 4 years for providing seed funding to eligible startups through eligible incubators across India. The scheme is expected to support an estimated 3,600 startups through 300 incubators.
- Speaking on the occasion, Mr Goyal said that the SISFS will Secure seed funding, inspire innovation, support transformative ideas, facilitate implementation, and Start startup revolution.

- MG Motor India is close to investing ₹1,500 crore towards expansion of its plant capacity at Halol and hiring around 1,000 people to increase the shifts at the facility.
- The company had last year announced an investment of ₹1,000 crore to expand capacity at Halol (Gujarat).
