19211. Hyperlocal plan: J&K pencil, Karnataka LED in exports push
- To promoting exports, the government has pushed traditional produce, such as cashews from Goa or chillies from Guntur.
- South Goa’s Feni and Muzaffarpur’s Shahi litchis and Darjeeling Tea do occupy a majority of the slots in the initial list of 106 products, there are some surprise additions — from LED bulbs in Karnataka’s Chitradurga to wine from Nashik
- The task of ODOP is being handled by Invest India, which has worked on the initial list and is in the process of preparing a list for all 739 districts. IITs, IIMs, NID and NIFTs are also being roped in for identifying potential solutions and adoption of minimalist technology to enhance productivity and supply chain without disrupting the traditional ecosystem.

19212. Mobile ‘Govt has met 38% of FY22 exports target
- Despite the impact of the second wave, mobile phone exports recorded a 250% year-on-year (Y-o-Y) growth in the April-June period.
- The government has set an ambitious target of USD $400 billion exports for financial year 2021-22 and 38% of this target has already been achieved by August.
- the government is keen to provide more market access to Indian companies, specially MSMEs, by inking free trade agreements (FTAs) with certain countries.

19213. Mobile exports grew 250% YoY in April-June
- Despite the impact of the second wave, mobile phone exports recorded a 250% year-on-year (Y-o-Y) growth in the April-June period.
- As one Mobile phones export for the period stood at Rs 4,600 crore. Electronic goods exports doubled in April-June crossing the20,000 crore mark.

19214. India's engineering goods exports reaches all-time high in in July
- Led by strong demand from the US, Europe and UAE, engineering goods exports in July 2021 reached an all-time high of US$ 9.14 billion.
- Accounting for one-fourth of the country's total merchandise exports, said a media release issued by EEPC India.
- The US remained top importer of India's engineering goods with total exports growing 27.23% in July to US$ 1,272 million as compared to the same month a year ago.

19215. तेजी से बढ़ा भारतीय कृषि उत्पादों का निर्यात, पहली तिमाही में एपीडा के तहत 4.81 अरब डॉलर का हुआ एक्सपोर्टसाथ
- भारतीय कृषि उत्पादों का निर्यात पिछले कुछ महीनों के दौरान तेजी से बढ़ा है. बिहार के आम से लेकर जम्मू-कश्मीर तक की चेरी का स्वाद विदेशी बाजारों तक पहुंचा है।
- चालू वित्त वर्ष की पहली तिमाही में कृषि और प्रसंस्कृत खाद्य उत्पाद निर्यात विकास प्राधिकरण (APEDA) के चावल, मांस, अनाज और डेयरी उत्पादों जैसे उत्पादों का निर्यात 44.3 प्रतिशत बढ़कर 4.81 अरब डॉलर पर पहुंच गया
- APEDA ने आम के निर्यात को प्रोत्साहन देने के लिए वर्चुअल माध्यम से क्रेता-विक्रेता सम्मेलनों तथा उत्सवों का आयोजन किया था. बहरीन को आम की खेप भेजने के पहले एपीडा ने कतर के दोहा में आम संवर्धन कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया था

19216. Meet the Man Reviving Two Dying Styles of Embroidery With Over 1200 Women
- Anshul Gupta was fated to become a chartered account when he gave it up to revive the art of Petit point and Gara embroidery in West Bengal. He speaks of the journey of the over 30-year-old Prastuti Designs.
- Picking up the colourful silken thread with a tiny needle and deftly pricking the finest hand woven Pashmina shawl stretched across the embroidery, wooden frame to make an intrinsic motif, is what Pia Chatterjee, Rupsana Khatoon, Rita Mondol, Mou Jana, Falguni Maity, Mita Mondol, and 100 other women, are doing. They are happily chatting but completely focused on embroidering a canvass of art.
- At any given point there are more than 350 women working in three units of Prastuti spread in three different areas in the hinterland of West Bengal. Added to this are more than 300 people indirectly involved by undertaking other jobs for Prastuti.

19217. Textile sector in Gujarat expects boost to exports
- Exporters have signed forward contracts of 1-1.2 million tonnes (MT) monthly till November 2021.
- With the Centre announcing the new rates under the Rebate on Duties and Taxes on Export Products (RoDTEP) scheme, textile exporters are expecting a boost in order volumes backed by better cost-competitiveness.

19218. वाणिज्य मंत्रालय: रत्न एवं आभूषण के दमदार प्रदर्शन से जुलाई में 47.91 फीसदी बढ़ा निर्यात, बढ़कर 35.17 अरब डॉलर हुआ
- इंजीनियरिंग और रत्न एवं आभूषण क्षेत्र के दमदार प्रदर्शन से जुलाई में निर्यात में बढ़ोतरी हुई ।
- जुलाई में पेट्रोलियम उत्पादों का निर्यात 3.82 अरब डॉलर, इंजीनियरिंग का 2.82 अरब डॉलर और रत्न एवं आभूण क्षेत्र का 1.95 अरब डॉलर रहा।
- जुलाई में अमेरिका को 2.4 अरब डॉलर, यूएई को 1.21 अरब डॉलर और बेल्जियम को 49 करोड़ डॉलर का निर्यात हुआ। .

19219. पांच गुना बढ़ जाएगी टेराकोटा के निर्यात की क्षमता, तैयार हुआ एक्सपोर्ट एक्शन प्लान
- गोरखपुर जिले में एक जिला एक उत्पाद (ओडीओपी) योजना में चयनित उत्पादों के निर्यात के लिए जिले का एक्सपोर्ट एक्शन प्लान तैयार कर लिया गया है।
- गोरखपुर को लेकर जो कार्ययोजना बनाई गई है, उसमें तकनीक को अपनाने पर जोर दिया गया है।
- टेराकोटा उत्पादों का खास जिक्र करते हुए यहां भी बुलंदशहर के खुर्जा के कामन फैसिलिटि सेंटर (सीएफसी) की तरह ही आधुनिक तकनीक का प्रयोग करने की सलाह दी गई है। निर्यात संवर्धन परिषद की ओर से गोरखपुर सहित 10 जिलों को निर्यात का हब बनाने का निर्णय लिया गया है।

19220. बड़ी सफलता- एक साल में इस कृषि प्रोडक्ट का एक्सपोर्ट हुआ डबल, इन देशों ने की जमकर खरीदारी
- पशुधन उत्पादों का निर्यात अप्रैल-जून (2021-22) के दौरान अप्रैल-जून, (2020-21) की तुलना में 106 फीसदी बढ़ा है, जो इस अवधि के दौरान 3668 करोड़ रुपये से बढ़कर 7543 करोड़ रुपये हो गया है.
- एपीडा के जरिए निर्यात होने वाले उत्पादों का निर्यात, वित्त वर्ष 2020-21 के दौरान 23.8 फीसदी की बढ़ोतरी के साथ 19.97 अरब डॉलर पर पहुंच गया है. जो वित्त वर्ष 2019-20 के दौरान 16.13 अरब डॉलर था.
- यहां तक कि कोविड-19 महामारी के दौरान भी कृषि उत्पादों का निर्यात निर्बाध रूप से हो रहा है. भारत ने वित्त वर्ष 2020-2021 के दौरान लगभग 41 अरब डॉलर मूल्य के कृषि और प्रसंस्कृत खाद्य उत्पादों का निर्यात किया है. जिसमें 17.4 फीसदी की बढ़ोतरी दर्ज की गई है
