23471. Over 137 crore 67 lakh doses of COVID vaccine administered in the country so far
- Over 137 crore 67 lakh doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the country so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive. Union Health Ministry said, more than 15 lakh 82 thousand vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours.
- The Ministry said, 8077 COVID patients recovered during the last 24 hours and the national recovery rate stands at 98.39 per cent. Till now, more than three crores 41 lakh 87 thousand people have recovered from COVID-19.
- The country reported 6563 new Covid cases in last 24 hours. Currently, India's active caseload is around 82 thousand t. Presently the active cases constitute 0.24 per cent of the country's total Positive Cases, which is lowest since March last year. The Ministry said, the testing capacity across the country continues to be expanded and more than 66 crore 51 lakh COVID-19 tests have been conducted so far.

- The system, developed by Aerial Delivery Research and Development Establishment (ADRDE) in Agra, was para-dropped from an AN32 aircraft and then steered to the predesignated landing point in autonomous mode. Eleven paratroopers of the Indian Army and Indian Air Force chased the CADS-500 in the air and landed simultaneously at the drop zone in Malpura from an altitude of 5,000 metres.

23475. Finance Ministry releases Rs 9,871 crore grant to 17 states
- The Finance Ministry on Monday said it has released Rs 9,871 crore of revenue deficit grant to 17 states The states which will receive money from the grant as recommended by the 15th Finance Commission are Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Punjab, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Tripura, Uttarakhand and West Bengal.

23476. Industry must begin using coal through gasification technology: JSPL MD

23477. Indian economy to grow at 9.5% in 2021, 8.5% in 2022: IMF
- India's growth projection released by the latest World Economic Outlook remains unchanged from its previous WEO (World Economic Outlook) update of July this summer but is a three-percentage point in 2021 and 1.6 percentage point drop from its April projections.

23480. Rs 814 cr received in dividend tranches from 5 CPSEs: DIPAM Secy
- Secretary of Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM) Tuhin Kanta Pandey has said that dividend tranches of about 296 crore rupees have been received from Power Finance Corporation Limited (PFC) and 233 crore rupees from Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO).
