22832. NDMC launches medical helpline for COVID-infected employees, families
- The Medical Services Department of the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) on Friday launched a program 'NETRA' in coordination with the Information Technology Department to provide guidance telephonically and through WhatsApp to COVID-infected employees in home isolation.
- According to an official media release, a team of dedicated doctors and specialists has been prepared as part of the Medical Helpline Facility for guiding employees or their family members who contracted the disease.

- मुंबई का एक स्टार्टअप अपनी किफायती रैपिड एंटीजन जाँच किट के साथ तैयार है। यह किट 100 रुपये प्रति नमूने की जांच की कीमत पर कोविड-19 का निदान और निगरानी प्रदान करती है।
- पतंजलि फार्मा द्वारा विकसित परीक्षण स्वर्ण मानक आरटीपीसीआर और रैपिड एंटीजन जांच का पूरक होगा और यह बाजार में उपलब्ध सबसे किफायती परीक्षणों में से एक होगा। विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग (डीएसटी) की एक पहल सेंटर फॉर ऑगमेंटिंग वॉर विद कोविड-19 हेल्थ क्राइसिस (सीएडब्ल्यूएसीएच) ने जुलाई, 2020 में कोविड-19 रैपिड निदान (निगरानी के लिए रैपिड एंटीबॉडी और एंटीजन दोनों परीक्षण और कोविड-19 का शीघ्र निदान) विकसित करने के लिए स्टार्टअप का समर्थन किया था।

22834. Air India ferrying 'Zeolite' for DRDO to boost oxygen production
- To meet the demand of oxygen supply in the country amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, India's Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has chartered the National Carrier Air India (AI) to import 'Zeolite' from different countries.
- "Government of India is in the process of importing Zeolite from different parts of the world, for use in Pressure Swing Absorption (PSA) plants to boost oxygen supplies in the country. DRDO has been appointed by GOI as a charterer for these consignments. Air India will bring in zeolite for DRDO from different parts of the world,"
- Zeolite-based oxygen concentrator systems are widely used to produce medical-grade oxygen. The zeolite is used as a molecular sieve to create purified oxygen from air using its ability to trap impurities, in a process involving the adsorption of nitrogen, leaving highly purified oxygen and up to 5 per cent argon

- भारतीय सेना ने कोरोना वायरस के खिलाफ लड़ाई में मुकाबले के लिए बैटलफील्ड नर्सिंग असिस्टेंटों (बीएफएनए) को भी मैदान में उतार दिया है।
- ये नर्सिंग सहायक सेना के कोविड केयर सेंटरों पर तैनात किए गए है ताकि कोविड-19 महामारी की दूसरी लहर में नर्सों की कमी को दूर किया जा सके।
- सेना ने सुझाव दिया है कि इस मॉडल का पालन राज्य सरकारें और अस्पताल भी कर सकते हैं। एक वरिष्ठ अधिकारी ने यह बात कही।
22837. डीआरडीओ द्वारा विकसित दवा 2-डीओक्सी-डी-ग्लूकोज की पहली खेप अगले सप्ताह तक जारी होने की संभावना
- कोविड मरीजों के लिए तैयार की गई नई दवा 2-डीओक्सी-डी-ग्लूकोज की पहली खेप अगले सप्ताह तक जारी हो जाने की संभावना है। इस दवा को रक्षा अनुसंधान और विकास संगठन ने विकसित किया है और भारत के औषध महानियंत्रक ने हाल ही में इसके आपात इस्तेमाल की अनुमति दी है।
- अगले महीने से इस दवा का बड़ी मात्रा में उत्पादन डॉ. रेड्डी लैब कंपनी द्वारा किया जाएगा। यह दवा पाउडर के रूप में छोटे-छोटे पैकेट में उपलब्ध होगी जिसे पानी में मिलाकर लिया जा सकेगा।
- यह दवा वायरस से संक्रमित कोशिकाओं में एकत्र हो जाती है और फिर इस वायरस के फैलने को रोकती है तथा मरीज की ऊर्जा भी बढ़ाती है।

22839. सरकार ने दिल्ली में आयुष-64 दवा का निशुल्क वितरण अभियान 25 स्थानों तक विस्तारित किया
- सरकार ने कहा है कि आयुष-64 दवाओं का निशुल्क वितरण अभियान 20 से अधिक राज्यों तक पहुंच गया है और यह लगातार बढ़ता जा रहा है।
- आयुष मंत्रालय ने कहा है कि वे कोविड रोगी जो घर में पृथकवास में हैं या किसी सरकारी और गैर सरकारी संगठन के देखभाल केन्द्र में रह रहे हैं, वे इस पहल से लाभान्वित हो रहे हैं।
- यह निशुल्क दवा वितरण अभियान दिल्ली के 25 स्थानों में चलाया जा रहा है। मंत्रालय ने कहा है कि इस अभियान में उसकी मुख्य सहयोगी सेवा भारती ने कल से दिल्ली में 17 स्थानों पर आयुष-64 का वितरण शुरू किया था।
