11. In Pakistan's Hyderabad, Mother-Daughter Duo Bricked Into Wall By Relatives. Here's What Happened Next
- Tasleem Jehan and her daughter Dua were confined within their house in Latifabad, Unit-5 by Tasleem's maternal cousin, Sohail, son of Abdul Aziz. They were rescued by neighbors with the help of the police after being locked up without food.
- Sohail, along with his wife and brother-in-law, deprived Tasleem and Dua of basic amenities and then physically confined them within their home by locking the door and raising a wall to seal their portion of the house. Despite complaints, no help was provided by Tasleem's brother-in-law, Irfan, who lives in the adjacent house.
- An FIR has been registered against Sohail under Sections 342, 448, 511, and 34 of the Pakistan Penal Code, but he had escaped by the time the police arrived. Tasleem clarified that the property papers were with Irfan, indicating that Sohail had no legal right to take such actions regarding the house.

12. Pune: Eijaz, Afridi and 2 others booked for attacking a Dalit Hindu with a sword, hurling casteist slurs and threatening him. Read FIR details
- The Pune city police have registered a FIR against four individuals named Eijaz Sheikh, Afridi Sheikh and Sadik Sheikh,for brutally assaulting a 19-year-old Hindu belonging to the Matang community. The victim was attacked with a sword in the Gangadha area of Pune while returning from a relative's place, sustaining severe injuries.
- The accused persons, especially Afridi, threatened the victim with caste-based abuses and carried out the assault, causing the victim to suffer minor injuries. The victim managed to escape to a friend's house and later filed a police complaint at the Bibwewadi Police Station.
- The victim, currently undergoing treatment at Sasoon Hospital in Pune, resides in Lohiya Nagar. The police have invoked various sections of the Indian Penal Code, Maharashtra Police Act, and SC/ST Act, 1989 against the accused individuals involved in the heinous attack.

13. BLF launches attack on Pak Army camp in Mand

15. NIA arrests two members of an international pan-Islamist and fundamentalist Organization in Tamil Nadu
- The National Investigation Agency (NIA) arrested two individuals, Abdul Rehman and Mujibur Rehman Altham Sahib, from Thanjavur District in Tamil Nadu for their involvement with Hizb-ut-Tahrir, an organization aiming to establish an Islamic caliphate and enforce its constitution.

16. Assam: Islamists raped two minor Hindu girls, bulldozer in action

18. Mohammad Gulzar arrested for killing his 2-year-old son in Patna
- The incident in Bihar’s Patna, Mohammad Gulzar, a mason, confessed to brutally murdering his 2-year-old son, Zeeshan. The child's body was discovered on 26 June 2024, leading to Gulzar's arrest following his wife Nazia Khatoon's accusations.

20. Iranian Women's Rights Activist Arrested Again
- Iranian women's rights activist Atefeh Rangriz, hailing from Semnan province faces a recurring arrest by authorities. This time being transferred to Shahrud Prison post-charges at Damghan Prosecutor's Office Branch 1.
- Rangriz highlighted new allegations on social media before her arrest, including charges of disrupting security, spreading propaganda against the Islamic Republic and spreading falsehoods.
