- On April 02 , 2024 India's defence production reached ₹1.27 lakh crore in FY 2023-24, a 174% rise since 2014-15, driven by the Make in India initiative.
- Defence exports hit a record ₹21,083 crore, expanding 30 times in a decade, with exports to over 100 countries.

2263. India's earthquake relief and rescue mission in Nepal
- On April 29, 2024 India evacuated 5,188 individuals from Nepal and provided assistance to 780 casualties by sending blankets, tents, stretchers, medicines, prepared food, and milk
- India had sent 18 medical teams (comprising 20 people each), and 12 engineer teams of about 60 people to the neighbouring country. While the engineers were helping to clear the rubble from blocked roads, the power assessment team had managed to restore electricity in major areas
- Ten teams from India's National Disaster Response Force, totaling 450 personnel and including several search and rescue dogs, arrived in Nepal; ten additional Indian Air Force planes soon departed to join them with further aid.

- On February 14, 2023, India provided hospital, materials, medicines, and equipment worth ₹7 crore to Turkey and Syria.
- The 5,945-ton emergency relief material included 27 life-saving medicines, two kinds of protective items and three categories of critical care equipments, valued at approximately Rs 2 crore
- The consignment for Syria consisted of 72 critical care drugs, consumables and protective items of 7.3 tons, valued at Rs 1.4 crore while relief materials sent for Turkiye included 14 types of medical and critical care equipments, valued at Rs 4 crore .

- On September 08, 2024 "India sends humanitarian aid to Zimbabwe. A consignment of 1000MT rice departed from the Nhava Sheva port for Zimbabwe

2267. India sends 90 tonne of API in aid to Cuba
- On June 02, 2024 India sent 90 tonnes of nine Made in India Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients ( APIs) left Mundra port
- These APIs will be used by the Cuban drug manufacturers to produce essential antibiotics in the dosage form of tablets, capsules, syrups and injections, needed for treatment of chronic communicable diseases.
- "The assistance reaffirms India's status as the "Pharmacy of the World" and underlines our commitment to historic friendship with Cuba," said the government.
