2331. India sends 6-bedded container-based dialysis unit to Kiribati
- On 22 March 2025 India has once again fulfilled its commitment made at the FIPIC III Summit by dispatching a critical healthcare facility to Kiribati.
- The 6-bedded container-based Dialysis Unit has been shipped from Mundra Port and is headed to Tarawa, Kiribati.
- The second assignment was sent in2024 in November, in which India dispatched Haemo-Dialysis machines to four Pacific Island nations- Marshall Islands, Samoa, Solomon Islands and Nauru. and the 2nd consignment of "Haemo-Dialysis machines with portable RO Units.
- Sharing a post on X, Ministry of External Affairs Jaiswal wrote, "Standing together with the Pacific Islands Family.

2332. India's Mega Aid send For Earthquake-Hit Myanmar
- ON 29 March 2025 India initiated its relief and rescue efforts in the country under the banner 'Operation Brahma', the country deployed two naval ships and began the deployment of an army field hospital with 118 medical personnel to provide immediate assistance to the injured.
- The Indian Air Force dispatched a C-130J aircraft carrying 40 tonnes of relief materials to Yangon.
- The 18-member Indian Army Field Hospital unit is en route to Mandalay from agra and 50 tons of relief material being sent on Indian warships.
- The items such as tents, blankets, sleeping bags, food packets, hygiene kits, generators, and medical supplies like paracetamol, antibiotics, syringes, gloves, and bandages to support those affected by the disaster.

2333. Arunachal CM unveils Rs 228 crore projects in West Kameng district
- On March 30, 2025, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu inaugurated and laid the foundation for multiple development projects in West Kameng district.
- Key Announcements: 14 infrastructure projects worth Rs 102 crore inaugurated in Kalaktang constituency. Foundation laid for 21 new projects valued at Rs 126 crore. Total investment in the region: Rs 228 crore.

2334. Meghalaya: Large Mineral Deposits, Rare Earth Elements Discovered
- On March 30, 2025, the Geological Survey of India (GSI), North Eastern Region, announced the discovery of large mineral deposits in Meghalaya that could significantly boost the state's economic and industrial growth.
- Key Discoveries: Bauxite Deposits: Found in Garo Hills, West Khasi Hills, and East Khasi Hills. Limestone Deposits: High-grade limestone reserves identified in Lithium Valley, East Jaintia Hills. 2335. Indian Railways' Freight Revenue Increases To Rs 1.68 Lakh Crore, Passenger Revenue Grows To Rs 70,693 Crore In Four Years
- On 29 March,2025, Indian Railways has reported a surge in revenue generation from both freight and passenger services over the last four years.
- The freight revenue of Indian Railways increased from Rs 1.13 lakh crore in 2019-20 to Rs 1.68 lakh crore in 2023-24, an increase of Rs 54,805 crore.
- According to the minister, non-AC coaches, including general and sleeper classes, account for 82 per cent of the seats (around 51 lakh) and contribute 53 per cent of the revenue.

2336. India sending 15 tonnes of relief material to earthquake-hit Myanmar
- On 29 March,2025, India was sending over 15 tonnes of relief material to earthquake-hit Myanmar, where at least 144 people had died and more than 700 were injured.
- The relief package contains essential supplies, including tents, sleeping bags, blankets, ready-to-eat meals, water purifiers, hygiene kits, solar lamps, generator sets, and critical medicines like paracetamol, antibiotics, syringes, gloves, and bandages, ANI reported citing sources.
- Indian embassy was closely monitoring the situation and said that there were no reports of any Indian getting hurt so far.

2337. Assam secures JPY 3.58 billion from Japan for aquaculture and livelihood boost
- On 29 March,2025,It was reported that, In a major push to Assam’s fisheries sector, the Government of Japan has extended financial support of JPY 3.58 billion under its Official Development Assistance (ODA) program to boost aquaculture and improve rural livelihoods in the state.
- The Assam State Aquaculture Promotion & Livelihood Improvement Project aims to enhance fish production, strengthen the fisheries supply chain, and empower rural stakeholders
- The initiative will also improve the institutional capacity of Assam’s fisheries department, ensuring long-term sustainability and economic upliftment for fish farmers. This is part of a broader JPY 191.736 billion loan agreement signed between India and Japan, covering six key development projects.
2338. Tejas Networks receives Rs 189 crore as PLI incentive for FY25
- On 29 March,2025, "Tejas Networks Ltd received an amount of Rs 189.1657 crore from the Ministry of Communications, Department of Telecommunications, New Delhi under the Production Linked Incentive (pli) Scheme for Telecom and Networking Products.
- The incentive is a part of the Centre's initiative to promote domestic manufacturing and strengthen India's telecom infrastructure.
- Tejas Networks produces optical and data networking products. It designs, develops and sells high-performance and cost-competitive networking products to telecommunications service providers, internet service providers, utilities, defence and government entities in more than 75 countries.

2339. India's Largest Solar Cell Manufacturing Gigafactory Inaugurated In Gujarat's Chikhali—What You Need To Know
- On 29 March,2025, India's largest solar cell manufacturing gigafactory facility has been inaugurated in Gujarat's Chikhali.
- The state-of-the-art 5.4 GW solar cell manufacturing facility of Warree Energy was inaugurated by Union Minister of New and Renewable Energy Pralhad Joshi. The facility is spread across 150 acres with a built-up area of 101 acres.
- In 2014, the production of Solar Cells and Wafers did not exist, but today India has 25 GW of cells and 2 GW of Wafers produces. The minister expressed confidence that the production of solar modules will skyrocket and reach 150 GW by 2030.
