- India’s transition to a green economy could contribute more than $1 trillion in economic impact by 2030, as well as create over 50 million jobs, stated a report by the World Economic Forum
- By 2070, the economic impact could increase to $15 trillion, the report further added. The WEF’s ‘Mission 2070: A Green New Deal for a Net-Zero India’ report provides a roadmap for India’s transition.
- Samir Saran, President, Observer Research Foundation stated that the report visualises India becoming the world’s first $5 trillion and subsequently $10 trillion ‘off-carbon economy’.

24003. Handicraft export blooms in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Rajasthan as restrictions ease overseas
- Export of certain goods based on handicrafts has picked up, with the US and Europe clawing back to normal.
- Carpet exporters of Uttar Pradesh and Haryana, gems and jewellery merchants in Rajasthan and those involved with embroidery and wooden lacquerware in Punjab have seen figures rise after a slump last year.
- Textile exporters have also seen things improve, in parts like Rajasthan's Bhilwara. Export of handmade carpets from UP and Haryana went up by 17.76 per cent in 2020-21, from Rs 11,799 crore in 2019-2020 to Rs 13,824 crore. After shipping out coloured gemstones worth Rs 127.61 crore last year, exporters in Jaipur witnessed this figure rise to Rs 460.35 crore already in 2021.

24004. Inox Wind bags order of 150 MW from NTPC Renewable Energy Limited
- Inox Wind, India's leading wind energy solutions provider, has bagged an order for a 150 MW wind power project from NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Limited, to be commissioned in the state of Gujarat.
- NTPC achieve its target of having over 60 GW Renewable Energy capacity constituting nearly 50% of its overall power generation capacity by 2032.

- इससे न केवल निर्यात में हमारे जिले की भागीदारी बढ़ेगी बल्कि तनकीक, कृषि अनुसंधान, प्रगतिशील खेती और राेजगार के क्षेत्र में अवसर पैदा हाेंगे।

- Yashish Dahiya recalls that a bad experience with an insurance broker led to the idea of an insurance marketplace. His father was sold insurance policies that benefited the insurer and the agent who sold the policy; it had nothing for the customer.
- His experience was the foundation stone for starting Policybazaar.com, which after 14 years has become the largest online platform for insurance, lending products, and other financial products.
- Policybazaar, now claims 93.4 per cent market share in the insurance marketplace. Its digital consumer credit marketplace, Paisabazaar, holds 53.7 per cent market share
24010. Over 116 crore vaccine doses provided to States, UTs so far
- Over 116 crore vaccine doses have been provided to States and Union Territories so far. The vaccines have been given through the Central government free of cost channel and direct state procurement category.
