- India launched the production-linked incentive (PLI) program to support vertically integrated, gigawatt-scale manufacturing of high-efficiency solar modules.
- PIXON embodies both the manufacturing of solar products and turnkey solar engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) solutions.
- The company is equipped with a modern turnkey module production facility of 400 MW with raw materials sourced from Europe, and we are planning to expand it to 1 GW. PIXON is also in the process of accelerating the work on the production line of EVA film (800 MW) and other raw materials to meet the quality aspects.

- New Delhi has been placed in the third position as the best capital city for a holiday, according to a study conducted by luggage storage firm, Bounce.
- The world-wide study included 69 capital cities across the world. It has been reported that the study looked at certain factors to come to the inclusion. These include, cost of hotel and transport; number of attractions; restaurants; and average temperatures and rainfall.
- New Delhi has been ranked among other world capitals such as Valletta, the capital of Malta, which is on the top position, and Abu Dhabi, which is on the second spot. Valletta earned 6.74 points out of 10, Abu Dhabi earned 6.24 points, while New Delhi on third spot earned 6.6 points. It was found that New Delhi has a total of 12409 cities

23485. Tata Power second quarter profit up 36 per cent at Rs 506 crore
- The net profit of the company in the quarter ended September 30, 2020 was Rs 371 crore, a BSE filing stated.
- Total income stood at Rs 10,187.33 crore in the quarter as against Rs 8,441.60 crore in the same period a year ago.
- Consolidated profit after tax was up 36 per cent due to savings in finance cost and better performance in Renewables Business, a company statement said.

- In a regulatory filing the company said it has raised USD 700 million for its under-construction transmission asset portfolio through the definitive agreements signed with leading international banks.

- The Union Government has received a final dividend of six thousand 665 crore rupees from Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) for the Financial Year 2020-21.

23488. World steel production falls 9% on year in Sept
- India the second-highest steel-producing nation with an output of 9.5 MT in September this year followed by Japan at 8.1 MT and the US at 7.3 MT.

23489. Maruti Suzuki Q2 preview: Profit may plunge 35-70%, margins may fall by 300 bps
- The automaker hiked vehicle prices in July and September. Discount moderation and better volumes may drive sequential margin improvement, analysts said.
- Emkay Global expects Maruti Suzuki to log a 49.9 per cent YoY in standalone profit at Rs 687.60 crore compared with Rs 1,371.60 crore in the year ago quarter.

23490. Tata Motors bags order for 3,500 XPRES-T EV units from BluSmart Mobility
- Tata Motors NSE 0.55 % on Friday said it has received an order for 3,500 XPRES-T EV units from electric ride-hailing platform BluSmart Mobility.
- The company said it has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BluSmart Mobility for the supply of the units. BluSmart Mobility, which offers all-electric ride-hailing service across Delhi-NCR, has completed more than 7,00,000 rides till date covering over 22 million clean kilometres on electric vehicles.
- BluSmart Mobility Founder & CEO Anmol Singh Jaggi said the company with its recent Series A funding of USD 25 million is well capitalised and expanding steadily into the Delhi-NCR market.
