23311. IIT Madras develops motion planning algorithms that behave like humans
- Researchers at IIT Madras have created a class of fast and efficient ‘motion planning’ algorithms that can think like humans and and allow autonomous aerial, ground, or surface vehicles to handle obstacle-filled settings.
- Drones equipped with these algorithms could be extremely useful in disaster management and response situations Satadal Ghosh, an assistant professor at IIT Madras' Department of Aerospace Engineering, led the research work
- The current status of this research, as per the team, is limited to theoretical development and improvement of the GSE-based algorithms and extensive realistic simulation-based validation of the same. The researchers are further planning to implement these algorithms on unmanned aerial and ground vehicles in the near future.

- Delhi-based startup Mogi I/O is looking to address this problem for video content platforms, including over-the-top (OTT) media services and broadcasters, edtech platforms and gaming ventures, with the help of its patented technology. The startup is also one of YourStory's Tech50 2021 companies.
- The two-year-old B2B media tech software-as-a-service (SaaS) venture enables content platforms to stream buffer-free videos, and highly compressed content files (videos and images) over their websites or channels for superior customer experience, explains Co-founder Vikrant Khanna. 23316. EPFO adds 12.73 lakh subscribers in October this year
- Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has added 12 lakh 73 thousand net subscribers during October this year.
- EPFO said, year-on-year comparison shows an increase of around 10.22 percent in net payroll additions in October this year as compared to 11.55 lakh net subscribers added during previous year in October.
- he total 12 lakh 73 thousand net subscribers added, 7 lakh 57 thousand new members have been enrolled under Employees Provident Fund and Miscellaneous Provisions Act-1952, for the first time.

23317. भारत ने रचा इतिहास: लगातार दूसरे दिन 'प्रलय' बैलिस्टिक मिसाइल का परीक्षण कर बनाया रिकॉर्ड, जानें इसकी खूबियां
- भारत ने पहली बार रिकॉर्ड बना दिया है कि 24 घंटे के भीतर दो बैलिस्टिक मिसाइल का सफलतापूर्वक परीक्षण कर दिया।
- भारत ने गुरुवार को इतिहास रचते हुए 24 घंटे के भीतर लगातार दूसरा अर्ध बैलिस्टिक मिसाइल ‘प्रलय’ का सफलतापूर्वक परीक्षण किया है। इसके साथ ही भारत के इतिहास में यह पहली बार हुआ है जब 24 घंटे के भीतर दो बैलिस्टिक मिसाइल का सफलतापूर्वक परीक्षण हुआ हो। यह मिसाइल सतह से सतह पर मार करने वाली है और 150 से 500 किलोमीटर के बीच टारगेट को तबाह कर सकती है। सरकारी अधिकारियों ने इसकी जानकारी दी है।
- अर्द्ध बैलिस्टिक मिसाइल प्रलय का आज सुबह ओडिशा तट के डॉ एपीजे अब्दुल कलाम द्वीप से परीक्षण किया गया। रक्षा अनुसंधान विकास संगठन द्वारा विकसित ठोस-ईंधन, युद्धक मिसाइल भारतीय बैलिस्टिक मिसाइल कार्यक्रम ‘पृथ्वी रक्षा वाहन’ पर आधारित है। सतह से सतह पर मार करने वाली मिसाइल की पेलोड क्षमता 500-1,000 किलोग्राम है।
23318. Hindustan Petroleum to invest ₹10,000 cr on gas value chain
- State-run Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) will invest ₹10,000 crore to create an end-to-end natural gas value chain, said an official from the company.
- The third-largest state-run oil marketing company is also building a 5 million metric tonnes per annum LNG regasification terminal at Chhara in Gujarat through joint venture company, HPCL Shapoorji Energy Pvt
- The investment will be spread over the next five years

23319. विदेशी मुद्रा भंडार ने बनाया नया रिकॉर्ड, 7.78 अरब डॉलर बढ़कर 568.494 अरब डॉलर पर पहुंचा
- देश का विदेशी मुद्रा भंडार छह नवंबर को समाप्त सप्ताह में 7.779 अरब डॉलर की जोरदार वृद्धि के साथ 568.494 अरब डालर के नए रिकॉर्ड स्तर पर पहुंच गया। भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक के शुक्रवार को जारी आंकड़ों में यह बताया गया।
- इससे पिछले 30 अक्टूबर को समाप्त सप्ताह में देश का विदेशी मुद्रा भंडार 18.3 करोड़ डॉलर बढ़कर 560.715 अरब डॉलर रहा था।
- समीक्षावधि में विदेशी मुद्रा भंडार बढ़ने की अहम वजह विदेशी मुद्रा परिसंपत्तियों (एफसीए) का बढ़ना है। ये परिसंपत्तियां कुल विदेशी मुद्रा भंडार का अहम हिस्सा होती है। रिजर्व बैंक के आंकड़ों के अनुसार समीक्षावधि में एफसीए 6.403 अरब डॉलर बढ़कर 524.742 अरब डॉलर हो गया। एफसीए को दर्शाया डॉलर में जाता है, लेकिन इसमें यूरो, पौंड और येन जैसी अन्य विदेशी मुद्राएं भी शामिल होती है।

23320. दिवाली में भारत में 72 हजार करोड़ का बिजनस, चीन को हुआ 40 हजार करोड़ रुपये का भारी नुकसान!
- दिवाली त्यौहार सीजन बिक्री से देश भर में लगभग 72 हजार करोड़ रुपये का कारोबार हुआ और चीन को सीधे तौर पर लगभग 40 हजार करोड़ रुपये का व्यापार घाटा हुआ। भारत के लोगों ने उत्सव के सामानों की खरीद-बिक्री के मामले में कोरोना और चीन दोनों को पछाड़ दिया है।
- इस वर्ष दिवाली के त्योहारी सीजन के दौरान देश भर के बाजारों में हुई मजबूत बिक्री भविष्य में अच्छी व्यापारिक संभावनाओं को इंगित करती है। वहीं यह भी स्पष्ट हो गया कि भारत के लोगों ने उत्सव के सामानों की खरीद-बिक्री के मामले में कोरोना और चीन दोनों को पछाड़ दिया है।
- दिवाली पर महूर्त ट्रेडिंग पर बीएसई 12780 पर और निफ़्टी 43,637.98 पर बंद हुआ। पिछली दिवाली से लेकर इस दिवाली सूचकांकों ने कोरोना और लॉक डाउन के प्रभाव के बावजूद लगभग 10 प्रतिशत इजाफा किया। वृहद मोर्चे पर रिकवरी के अच्छे संकेतों और लगातार हो रहे निवेश के जारी रहने के कारण अगली दिवाली तक बाजार 14000 को छूने का अनुमान है।
