- On April 01 , 2020 In the financial year 2019-20, India's defense exports amounted to ₹9,115 crore (approximately $1.2 billion) in slight decrease from the previous year (2018-19), where exports were ₹10,745 crore.
- Despite this dip, the overall trend in subsequent years shows a significant increase in defense exports, reflecting India's growing emphasis on indigenous defense production and export promotion.
- The government has set the target of manufacturing defence hardware worth Rs 1,75,000 crore and take defence exports to Rs 35,000 crore by 2024-25.

2297. India's earthquake relief and rescue mission in Nepal
- On April 29, 2024 India evacuated 5,188 individuals from Nepal and provided assistance to 780 casualties by sending blankets, tents, stretchers, medicines, prepared food, and milk
- India had sent 18 medical teams (comprising 20 people each), and 12 engineer teams of about 60 people to the neighbouring country. While the engineers were helping to clear the rubble from blocked roads, the power assessment team had managed to restore electricity in major areas
- Ten teams from India's National Disaster Response Force, totaling 450 personnel and including several search and rescue dogs, arrived in Nepal; ten additional Indian Air Force planes soon departed to join them with further aid.

- On September 08, 2024 "India sends humanitarian aid to Zimbabwe. A consignment of 1000MT rice departed from the Nhava Sheva port for Zimbabwe
