- तेलंगाना के तुम्मेटि रघोत्तम रेड्डी। वह पिछले 10 वर्षों से अपने घर की छत पर बागवानी कर रहे हैं। उनके बगीचे में कई तरह की सब्जियां, फल, फूल और औषधीय पौधे आपको मिल जायेंगे। दिलचस्प बात यह है कि रघोत्तम ने बागवानी के अपने अनुभव के अधार पर एक किताब भी प्रकाशित की है, जिसका नाम है- ‘Terrace Garden: Midde Thota’
- टेरेस गार्डन सेटअप करने में लगभग 20 हजार रुपए का खर्च आया था। एक बार में यह सभी पैसे निवेश नहीं किए बल्कि धीरे-धीरे गार्डन को बढ़ाया। आज गार्डन की वजह से बाहर से कोई सब्जी खरीदने की जरूरत नहीं पड़ती है।
- यदि हिसाब लगाया जाए तो 10 साल में टेरेस गार्डन से 25 क्विंटल सब्जी का उत्पादन हुआ है।

- अपने परिवार की मदद करने के लिए खेतों में काम करने वाले एबी जॉर्ज अब यूनाइटेड किंगडम के एक बड़े विश्वविद्यालय में पढ़ाई करने जाने वाले हैं।
- केरल के कुट्टनाड के चेंपमपुरम के एक छोटे से गाँव के निवासी एबी जल्द ही दक्षिण पश्चिम इंग्लैंड में स्थित डेवोन काउंटी के एक्सेटर विश्वविद्यालय में ‘ग्लोबल सस्टेनेबिलिटी सोल्यूशंस’ में मास्टर्स की पढ़ाई शुरू करेंगे।
- स्थानीय स्तर पर कृषि क्षेत्र असंगठित था और कई किसानों को विभिन्न सरकारी योजनाओं का लाभ नहीं मिल पा रहा था। इस समस्या को हल करने के लिए एबी ने एक 'किसान उत्पादक संगठन' बनाया। अब इस संगठनके लगभग 900 सदस्य हैं।

- गाजियाबाद के Pond Man, रामवीर तंवर ने इंजीनियर की नौकरी छोड़कर, तालाबों को स्वच्छ करने का बीड़ा उठाया है। इसके लिए उन्होंने say earth संस्था की स्थापना की है। रामवीर तंवर का जन्म ग्रेटर नोएडा के डाढ़ा-डाबरा गांव में हुआ। उनके पिता पेशे से किसान थे। रामवीर की प्रारंभिक और उच्च शिक्षा गांव में ही पूरी हुई।
- उन्होंने 12वीं की परीक्षा पास करने के बाद इंजीनियरिंग में दाखिला लिया। रामवीर के पिता के पास उन्हें पढ़ाने के लिए पैसे नहीं थे, लेकिन उनके पिता चाहते थे कि रामवीर इंजीनियर बने। इसके लिए उन्होंने अपनी जमीन तक बेच दी थी। जमीन के पैसों से रामवीर का दाखिला ग्रेटर नोएडा के एक कॉलेज में कराया। साल 2014 में रामवीर तंवर ने मेकैनिकल इंजीनियरिंग की पढ़ाई पूरी कर ली। साइंट लिमिटेड कंपनी में नौकरी करने लगे। उन्हें अच्छा खासा सैलरी पैकेज मिल रहा था। लेकिन साल 2015-16 में उन्होंने नौकरी छोड़ दी।
- उन्होंने यूपी के कई इलाकों, जैसे ग्रेटर नोएडा के चौगानपुर, रौनी गांव, गाजियाबाद के मोरटा गांव, सहारनपुर के नानाखेड़ी गांव सहित राजधानी दिल्ली के गाज़ीपुर गांव के पानी में पड़े कचरे को साफ करके उसे स्वच्छ तालाब में तब्दील कर दिया है। अब तक 30 से अधिक तालाबों को वह संरक्षित कर चुके हैं। लोग उन्हें तालाबों से जुड़ी इस मुहिम में सफल होने के बाद से पॉन्ड मैन (Pond man) के नाम से पुकारते हैं।

- Anumuthu’s childhood was marred with poverty and struggle as a child labourer after he lost his father at only 7. Learning from his own experiences, today he provides dignity and care in the form jobs, medical attention, food and clothes to the homeless through his NGO Snehan.
- There are 1.77 million homeless people in India, a majority of whom do not have access to shelter, sanitation, food, health ,water, let alone a source of livelihood.
- The 39-year-old first worked on establishing a brand under which he would sell cotton-based products like bags, aprons, and more. He would use the income to help the destitute and continue doing photography to support himself and his family.

- With a hefty 18.2 million subscribers on YouTube, Indian Farmer, founded by two friends — Akash Jadhav and Santhosh Jadhav, is helping farmers across the country with everyday farm-related issues. They are young, enthusiastic, talkative, and passionately in love with the internet, smartphones, drones, agricultural farming and ‘jugaad’.
- They are the new sensation on YouTube, having amassed 182 lakh (18.2 million) subscribers for their channel Indian Farmer, within three years since June 2018.
- The duo in their mid-20s belong to a very small town called Vita, in Sangli districts of Maharashtra, where till a couple of years ago the Wifi connection was a real problem. Their earnings, they explain, keep on fluctuating between Rs 50,000 to Rs 1 lakh a month. They have invested a lot of their money and reinvested a heavy chunk from their YouTube income towards their cause.

- Devans Modern Breweries, a leading producer of matured malt spirits and an extensive range of beer including the iconic Godfather, has given a major push to its expansion in the northeast with the commencement of beer production in Arunachal Pradesh.
- Devans has been a player in the Indian alcoholic beverage market for over six decades and has added 10,000 KL of manufacturing and bottling capacity for beer by tying up with a new brewery at Namsai in Arunachal Pradesh, a spokesman of the company said. ''Arunachal Pradesh has always been a very good market for us.
- We have tied up with a brewery in Arunachal Pradesh to boost our production and bottling capacity and in the near future we intend to replicate the same in other states,'' Devans Modern Breweries' Managing Director (MD) Prem Devan said. Devan said the Arunachal Pradesh foray would further help the firm get a better hold on the markets in the northeast.
