23901. Export of Aavin products resumes after 10 years
- Last year, the total sale of Aavin dairy products were 885 tonnes. This year, so far, it has touched 925 tonnes and it would go up to 1,500 before the Diwali festival, the minister said.
- Aavin had owned various outlets in Gulf and European countries. We even had a branch in California, US. We had our branches wherever our Tamil fraternity is living.
- But for the last 10 years, none of the outlets were operational. Now, we have resumed business in all the outlets. Efforts are also on to sell our Aavin dairy products in our neighbouring state

- Anil Bishnoi, a 48-year-old farmer and conservationist from Rajasthan, has managed to save 10,000 blackbucks from poachers over 30 years.
- Anil has dedicated his life to the conservation of the blackbucks. For the last three decades, he has been campaigning to save them in their natural habitat, and due to habitat loss and poaching, he even started an active campaign against poachers across 50 panchayats.
- Anil has built over 60 small to medium-sized water bodies to cater to the needs of the blackbucks. Today, he works with a workforce of 3,000 folks throughout 12 districts of Rajasthan. According to Anil, he has saved and taken care of over 10,000 blackbucks — without getting much external financial help.
23904. Govt and ADB sign 61 M loan for development of Agartala
- The Union Government and Asian Development Bank, ADB today signed a 61-million dollar loan to improve livability, harness technology and promote new developments to accommodate the expanding population in Agartala city while building the capacity of State agencies for improved service delivery.
- the project is aligned to the vision of the Centre’s Smart City Mission to upgrade urban infrastructure services and will improve livability in Agartala with the provision of better road connectivity, flood resilient measures and making tourist places more attractive.
- The project will build and upgrade 48 kilometres of new or existing stormwater drainage and construct 23 kilometres of climate-resilient urban roads. Other interventions would include renovating open spaces and creating water recreation and lakeside walkways in the Maharaja Bir Bikram College lake and the Ujjayanta Palace which are major tourist attractions in the city.

- कार्यक्रम में केंद्रीय कृषि एवं किसान कल्याण मंत्री नरेंद्र सिंह ने कहा बताया कि मधुमक्खी पालकों व सरकार के सामूहिक प्रयासों से वर्ष 2020-21 में देश में शहद का उत्पादन वर्ष 2013-14 के 76150 मीट्रिक टन से बढ़कर अब सवा लाख मीट्रिक टन हो गया है।
- मधुमक्खी पालन को बढ़ावा देने के लिए नागालैंड में मधुमक्खी पालकों का सम्मेलन आयोजित किया गया। साथ ही नागालैंड स्थित केंद्रीय बागवानी संस्थान में किसान भवन का लोकार्पण हुआ।
- केंद्रीय मंत्री ने बताया कि मधुमक्खी पालकों व सरकार के सामूहिक प्रयासों से वर्ष 2020-21 में देश में शहद का उत्पादन वर्ष 2013-14 के 76150 मीट्रिक टन से बढ़कर अब सवा लाख मीट्रिक टन हो गया है। वहीं, मधुमक्खी पालन क्षेत्र से जुड़े हितधारकों की मदद से वर्ष 2020-21 में शहद का निर्यात वर्ष 2013-14 के सवा 28 हजार मीट्रिक टन से बढ़कर लगभग 60 हजार मीट्रिक टन हो गया है।

- मध्य प्रदेश के मुरैना जि़ले के कृषि विज्ञान केन्द्र के प्रमुख वैज्ञानिक डॉ. यादवेन्द्र प्रताप सिंह नई तकनीक से गेहूं कि फ़सल बुवाई को लेकर किसानों को प्रेरित कर रहे हैं। इससे गेहूं कि फ़सल तेज़ आंधी तूफान में भी नहीं गिरती है। उन्होंने फसल बोने के लिए जीरो टिलेज सीड ड्रिल तकनीक का प्रयोग रबी की फसल में किया है।
- अभी तक धान कि खेती में इस तकनीक का प्रयोग होता है। इसमें जीरो टिलेज सीड मशीन के जरिए बिना जुताई के खेत में सीधे फसल के बीज और खाद एक साथ बो सकते हैं। लेकिन अब इस तकनीक से गेहूं की बुवाई भी कर सकते हैं।
- जीरो टिलेज सीड मशीन में कम चौड़े हल लगे होते हैं। मशीन के एक भाग में बीज और दूसरे भाग में खाद होती है, जो नीचे हल तक पहुंचते हैं। करीब दो से तीन इंच की चौड़ाई में मशीन जमीन को खोदती है और उसमें बीज बो दिया जाता है। मशीन से बिना जुताई किए बुवाई होती है। यह मशीन कृषि यंत्र विक्रय केन्द्रों पर मिल जाती है। मशीन को किराए पर भी लिया जा सकता है।
23909. Quantum jump in software exports from Kozhikode IT parks
- Software exports from the companies in Kozhikode Government Cyberpark have increased from ₹14.76 crore in 2019-20 to ₹26.16 crore in 2020-21.
- The park, which started with four companies in 2014-15, now has 64 IT and ITES companies and around 1,000 employees.
- Software exports from Kozhikode are mainly to Gulf, European countries and US markets. Most of the major IT companies in Kozhikode have also offices in other countries.
