- 1. Bengaluru-based Exponent Energy’s co-founders Arun Vinayak and Sanjay Byalal, explain the workings of their unique ‘Flexible Energy Stack’ technology and how it will revolutionise the EV sector.
- 2. Exponent Energy aims to bridge the relationship between battery cells and chargers to ensure there is less stress on EV batteries, while fully charging them in 15 minutes only.
- 3. Rapid charging in the current Indian space didn’t work because it was done using bulky and expensive technology like LTO (lithium-titanate-oxide) or supercapacitors. With chargers feeding regular batteries more power than they can handle, it leads to severe battery degradation.
- 4. “We’ve simplified energy flow between the battery and charger. This unlocks 15 minute rapid charging on a wide range of regular lithium-ion cells, making it affordable and scalable.

- 3. आईआईटी मुंबई के पूर्व छात्रों द्वारा बनाया गया ये खास सब्जी कूलर बिना बिजली या किसी अन्य ईधन के चलता है और इसकी मदद लेते हुए किसान करीब एक हफ्ते तक अपनी सब्जियों को फ्रेश रख सकते हैं।
- 4. सब्जी कूलर के अंदर 5 से 20 डिग्री सेल्सियस तक तापमान कम हो सकता है जिससे सब्जियाँ 4 से 6 दिन तक ताजी बनी रख सकती हैं। इस साल स्टार्टअप देश के 8 राज्यों में अपने इस उतपद को ले जाने के लक्ष्य के साथ आगे बढ़ रहा है।

- set up a new global digital hub in Hyderabad with an investment of USD 150 million (Rs 1,103.47 crore). The facility -- FCA ICT India -- will be the company's largest digital hub outside of North America and Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
- According to an official statement, FCA ICT India will create nearly 1,000 new jobs by the end of 2021 and has plans to increase hiring over the next two to three years. The global digital hub will expand FCA's relationships with several ecosystem partners. A key objective of FCA ICT India is to digitalise every aspect of FCA's automotive operations globally and within India.
- FCA already has a presence in Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu, with headquarters in Mumbai and employs over 3,000 people.

- The company is aiming to expand its presence across India and South East Asia with these new funds and work on newer product lines to boost consumption. $7.5-10 Crore
- Founded in 1997, Lone Pine Capital is a Connecticut-based investment firm which picks up strategic stakes in companies across multiple sectors through equity deals.

- 1. चेन्नई का स्टार्टअप विनाटा एयरोमोबिलिटी इस समय तेजी से अपनी फ्लाइंग कार के निर्माण में जुटा हुआ है। योगेश्वर अय्यर द्वारा स्थापित इस स्टार्टअप ने अपनी फ्लाइंग कार के मॉडल को सबसे पहले लंदन के हेलीटेक एक्स्पो में पेश किया था।
- 2. स्टार्टअप ने अपनी फ्लाइंग कार का नाम विनाटा रखा है जो पौराणिक कथाओं पर आधारित है। गौरतलब है कि इस हाइब्रिड फ्लाइंग कार को बैटरी के साथ ही बायो फ्यूल के जरिये संचालित किया जा सकेगा। बताया जा रहा है कि यह कार 3 हज़ार फीट तक की ऊंचाई पर उड़ने में सक्षम होगी। रफ्तार की बात करें तो यह फ्लाइंग कार यहाँ भी अपने ग्राहकों को निराश नहीं करेगी।
- 3. स्टार्टअप के दावे के अनुसार कार 120 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटे की रफ्तार से उड़ान भरेगी, इसी के साथ यह एक बार फुल चार्ज होने पर 60 मिनट तक हवा में रह सकने में सक्षम होगी। कार की लंबाई चौड़ाई की बात करें तो यह 18 फीट लंबी, 17 फीट चौड़ी और 7.3 फीट ऊंची है।

- An American financial corporation has announced to invest $54 million in India to support the development of critical infrastructure projects in the country in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.
- India is one of the fastest growing countries in the previous three decades, but it suffers from a significant infrastructure deficit, holding back further growth for the country especially in the wake of Covid-19, the US International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) said
- The DFC said it will invest $54 million in equity for the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF) in India to support the development of critical infrastructure projects. The financing is part of NIIF’s final round of fund-raising for the fund.

- US International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) has reportedly announced an investment of $54 million in India with an aim to support the country’s critical infrastructure project development amid the COVID-19 pandemic
- DFC revealed its plan to make a $54 million investment in equity for the NIIF (National Investment and Infrastructure Fund) in India to enhance critical infrastructure projects. NIIF will focus on mobilizing capital to support the economic growth as well as address various development challenges in the region.
