491. India’s textiles sector records surge in investment, rise in exports in 2025
- On December 26,2025,it as Reported that India’s textile and apparel sector recorded strong growth in 2025, with exports (including handicrafts) reaching $37.8 billion in FY 2024-25, a 5% increase year-on-year and a trade surplus of $28.2 billion. The US, EU and UK remained key markets, while countries like the UAE, Bangladesh and Australia emerged as major new destinations.
- The Government of India approved seven PM MITRA textile parks across seven states with an outlay of ₹4,445 crore, attracting MoUs worth over ₹27,434 crore. The National Technical Textiles Mission (₹1,480 crore), PLI scheme (₹28,711 crore investment) and large-scale R&D projects strengthened manufacturing, innovation and employment.

492. India's electronics production rises 6-fold, exports jump 8-fold since 2014

494. Vertis Infrastructure Launches Truck Mounted Attenuator for Highway Safety

495. Indian Railways Clears Rs 432 Crore Project For Modern Bridge On Busy Howrah–Kharagpur Corridor

499. India's engineering goods exports top $11 billion in Nov; US and EU shipments up sharply
