- मूल रूप से हरियाणा के हिसार जिला के सलेमगढ़ गांव के रहने वाले 24 वर्षीय विकास वर्मा 12वीं फेल हैं। लेकिन विकास को इस बात की कोई परवाह नहीं है और उन्होंने अपने जुनून और कड़ी मेहनत से न सिर्फ खेती के क्षेत्र में एक अलग मुकाम हासिल किया, बल्कि हजारों लोगों को एक बेहतर उम्मीद भी दे रहे हैं।
- विकास, हिसार में “वेदांता मशरूम” नाम से एग्रो कंपनी चलाते हैं। इसे उन्होंने करीब छह साल पहले सिर्फ पांच हजार रुपए से शुरू किया था। शुरुआत में तो उन्हें काफी नुकसान हुआ, लेकिन आज वह हर दिन 40-50 हजार रुपए का कारोबार कर रहे हैं। इतना ही नहीं, वह अब तक 10 हजार लोगों को मशरूम उगाने की ट्रेनिंग भी दे चुके हैं।
- वह कहते हैं, “5 किलो बिस्कुट बनाने में एक किलो से भी कम मशरूम लगते हैं। इसमें आटा, दूध, घी जैसी कई चीजें मिलाई जाती हैं। हम एक किलो बिस्कुट 500 रुपए में बेचते हैं। वहीं, बचे हुए मशरूम से ड्रिंक्स, बड़ियां जैसी कई चीजें बनाई जाती हैं। इस तरह हमें करीब एक किलो ऑयस्टर मशरूम से करीब 8000 रुपए मिलते हैं। जिसमें 6000 से 6500 रुपया हमारा शुद्ध फायदा है।”

- गुजरात के अभिमन्यु और वरदान राठी ने एक सस्ता व कारगर वॉटर प्यूरीफायर तैयार किया है और अब तक वे अपने स्टार्टअप, ‘सस्टेनेबल लाइवलीहुड इनिशिएटिव इंडिया (SLII)’ के ज़रिए 60 से ज्यादा प्यूरीफायर बेच भी चुके हैं। देश के किसी भी हिस्से में आप चले जाएं, पेयजल को लेकर लोग बात करते दिख जाएंगे। दरअसल आज भी शुद्ध पानी एक बड़ी समस्या बनी हुई है। यही वजह है कि इस दौर में भी देश में कई लोगों तक पीने का शुद्ध पानी नहीं पहुंच पा रहा है। आंकड़ों के अनुसार 50 प्रतिशत से ज्यादा लोग आज दूषित पानी पीने के लिए मजबूर हैं।
- लेकिन सूरत (गुजरात) के दो भाइयों ने अपने स्टार्टअप, सस्टेनेबल लाइवलीहुड इनिशिएटिव इंडिया (SLII) के माध्यम से इस संकट को हल करने के लिए एक अनूठा समाधान खोजा है। उन्होंने एक ऐसा ऐसा वॉटर प्यूरीफायर बनाया है जो दूषित पानी को मिनटों में पीने योग्य बनाता है। इस प्यूरीफायर के रखरखाव में बिजली का खर्च नहीं होता है। इस प्रणाली को उन्होंने ‘वरदान’ नाम दिया गया है। उनका दावा है कि यह भारत का सबसे सस्ता प्यूरीफायर है जो केवल 8 पैसे प्रति लीटर के खर्च पर पानी साफ करता है।
- प्रोडक्ट के बारे में बात करते हुए वरदान ने कहा कि इसकी कीमत 5,000 रुपये है और यह बिना किसी रखरखाव के खर्च के 1,00,000 लीटर पानी को शुद्ध कर सकता है, औसतन 40 लीटर पानी हरदिन। यह दस साल तक चलेगा और 8 पैसे प्रति लीटर की दर से पानी को शुद्ध करेगा। सबसे अच्छी बात यह कि इस पूरी प्रक्रिया में पानी की एक बूंद भी बर्बाद नहीं होती है।

- Navjot Sawhney innovated a low-cost, unique washing machine after seeing the plight of his friend Divya. Today, the machine is a ray of hope for women of Iraq’s Mamrashan Refugee Camp and rural India. An aeronautical engineer by profession, Navjot put his engineering skills to use when he met Divya, a homemaker in Kuilapalayam village, Tamil Nadu, during his sabbatical.
- Seeing her suffer from backache and skin irritation from washing clothes with her hands, he built a low-cost manual washing machine that requires no electricity and very little water. It not only washes but also dries 70-80% of clothes. Priced between Rs 5,000-Rs 6,000, the incredible innovation by Navjot has bagged several grants, awards and support from corporates and non-profits around the world.
- After that, Navjot travelled to 12 developing countries and spoke to over 2,500 families to survey handwashing clothes. He found that this burden is widespread — disproportionately affecting women and children, affecting their well-being and livelihood.

- Esah Tea from Mangaldoi, Assam, which has developed pyramid organic cotton teabags, promises your cup of tea in either of its 60 plus tea variants.
- According to a report by Eon Market Research (EMR), India consumed around 1.10 million tons of tea in 2019. The tea market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 4.2 percent and 1.40 million tons of tea is expected to be consumed by 2025.
- One such startup is Esah Tea, started by a 26-year-old teapreneur, Bijit Sarma, hailing from Mangaldoi, Assam. Esah Tea offers a range of single-origin organic tea blends that are carefully curated from 150+ local gardens and marginal tea growers.

- Alpha Vector’s first product viper was released in 2017. As of now, the company’s bikes are available across their own website, online marketplaces and multi-brand outlets.
- Started as a bootstrapped firm, Alpha Vector set up a manufacturing unit in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, in 2021, where the firm produces about 12,000 cycles every month. An additional 15,000 bikes’ production is outsourced to another manufacturer.

- केंद्र देश में ब्लैक फंगस यानी म्यूकोरमायकोसिस के ब़़ढते मामलों के बीच एक घरेलू कंपनी ने इसकी नई दवा उतारने का एलान किया है। हैदराबाद स्थित एमएसएन लैब्रोरेटरीज ने भारतीय बाजार में पोसाकोनाजोल लांच करने की घोषणा की है।
- इस दवा को कंपनी ने 100एमजी डिलेड रिलीज टैबलेट और 300 एमजी इंजेक्शन के रूप में पेश करने की घोषषणा की है। कोविड-19 से ठीक हो रहे कई मरीजों में म्यूकोरमायकोसिस नामक दुर्लभ और मारक फंगल संक्रमण पाया गया है, जो ब्लैक फंगस के नाम से मशहूर है।
- कंपनी का दावा है कि उसकी इस दवा को भारतीय औषषधि महानियंत्रक ([डीसीजीआइ)] से मंजूरी मिल चुकी है।

- After the launch of Posaone (Posaconazole) tablet used in the treatment of black fungus, MSN on Wednesday announced that it received a clearance from the Drug Controller General of India (DGCI) last week to conduct a third phase of clinical trial on mild to moderate COVID-19 patients.
- Set up in Hyderabad, MSN will start its clinical trials in more than 40 sites across India and the first dosing is expected to begin soon. The clinical trials will be performed on more than 2,400 subjects suffering from mild to moderate COVID-19, the company said in a statement.
- Molnupiravir is an experimental drug having antiviral properties and is currently under clinical stage study for COVID treatment. MSN research and development team has developed both the API and formulation, is expecting to launch soon after its successful conclusion of clinical study followed by regulatory approval, it added.

- हैदराबाद स्थित डॉ. रेड्डी लैबोरेट्रीज ने डीआरडीओ की बनाई एंटी कोविड-19 दवा 2डीजी की कीमत और नाम तय कर दिए हैं। बाजार में कोरोना की स्वदेशी दवा 2DG अब 2DGTM के नाम से बिकेगी। इसके एक सैशे की कीमत 990 रुपये तय की गई है।
- डीआरडीओ ने कहा था कि आमतौर पर 2DG कोरोना दवा को डॉक्टरों द्वारा मध्यम से गंभीर कोविड रोगियों को दिया जाता है। ये 10 दिनों का कोर्स होता है।
- एंटी कोविड-19 ड्रग 2डीजी जो अब बाजार में 2DGTM के नाम से मिलने वाली है, इस दवा को डीआरडीओ के इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ न्यूक्लियर मेडिसिन एंड अलायड साइंसेस (आईएनएमएएस) ने हैदराबाद सेंटर फॉर सेल्युलर एंड मॉलिक्युलर बायोलॉजी (सीसीएमबी) के साथ मिलकर बनाया है। इस दवा को 2-deoxy-D-glucose नाम दिया गया है। इस दवा को बनाने की जिम्मेदारी डॉ. रेड्डी लैबोरेट्रीज ने ली है।
