23121. दवा:भारतीय कंपनी MSN ग्रुप ने कोरोना की दवा 'फेविलो' लॉन्च की, 200 एमजी वाली एक टेबलेट की कीमत 33 रुपए
- हैदराबाद की जेनरिक फार्मा कंपनी MSN ग्रुप ने कोरोना की सबसे सस्ती दवा 'फेविलो' लॉन्च की है। इसमें फेविपिराविर ड्रग का डोज है।
- 200 एमजी फेविपिराविर की एक टेबलेट 33 रुपए की होगी। कंपनी के मुताबिक, जल्द ही फेविपिराविर की 400 एमजी टेबलेट भी लॉन्च की जाएगी।
- कोरोना के मरीजों के लिए पहले भी MSN ग्रुप एंटीवायरल ड्रग ऑसेल्टामिविर को ऑस्लो नाम से लॉन्च कर चुका है। यह 75 एमजी की टेबलेट है।
23122. कोरोना के इलाज के लिए बाजार में आई एक और दवा, जानिए क्या है खूबी
- डॉ. रेड्डीज लैबोरेटरीज लिमिटेड (Dr Reddy's Laboratories Limited) ने भारत में कोविड-19 संक्रमितों के इलाज के लिए रेम्डेसिविर दवा को बाजार में जारी करने की घोषणा की है। यह दवा 'Redyx' ब्रांड नाम के तहत उपलब्ध होगी।
- गिलीड ने डॉ. रेड्डीज लैब को रेम्डेसिविर के पंजीकरण, विनिर्माण और बिक्री का अधिकार दिया है। इस तरह के अधिकार भारत सहित 127 देशों में कोविड-19 के संभावित इलाज में काम आने वाली इस दवा के लिए दिए गए हैं।
- भारत के दवा महानियंत्रक (डीसीजीआई) ने रेम्डेसिविर का इस्तेमाल भारत में कोविड-19 के गंभीर लक्षण वाले अस्पताल में भर्ती मरीजों पर आपात स्थिति में करने की मंजूरी दी है।
23123. आईआईटी दिल्ली का बड़ा शोध- कोरोना के उपचार में ज्यादा असरदार है 'टेइकोप्लानिन' दवा
- आईआईटी दिल्ली के एक शोध में पता चला है कि कोविड-19 के उपचार के लिए क्लिनिकल रूप से स्वीकृत दवा ‘टेइकोप्लानिन’ एक प्रभावी विकल्प हो सकती है और इस समय इस्तेमाल की जा रही अन्य दवाओं से दस गुना तक अधिक असरदार हो सकती है।
- आईआईटी दिल्ली के प्रोफेसर अशोक पटेल ने कहा, ‘टेइकोप्लानिन की तुलना जब इस्तेमाल में लाई जा रही अन्य महत्वपूर्ण दवाओं से की तो हमारी प्रयोगशाला की परिस्थितियों में सार्स-सीओवी-2 के खिलाफ लोपिनाविर और हाइड्रॉक्सीक्लोरोक्वीन जैसी दवाओं के तुलना में टेइकोप्लानिन 10 से 20 गुना अधिक प्रभावी पाई गई।’ अनुसंधान में पटेल को एम्स के डॉ. प्रदीप शर्मा की भी मदद मिली। इसका प्रकाशन ‘इंटरनेशनल जर्नल ऑफ बायोलॉजिकल मैक्रोमॉलीक्यूल’ में भी किया गया है। टेइकोप्लानिन एफडीए से स्वीकृत ग्लाइको पेप्टाइड एंटीबायोटिक है जिसका उपयोग निम्न विषाक्तता वाले ग्राम पॉजिटिव बैक्टीरिया संक्रमण के उपचार के लिए किया जाता है।
- पटेल ने कहा, हाल ही में रोम की सेपिएंजा यूनिवर्सिटी में टेइकोप्लानिन के साथ एक क्लिनिकल अध्ययन किया गया। बहरहाल, कोविड-19 के उपचार के लिए टेइकोप्लानिन की निश्चित भूमिका का पता लगाने के लिए मामूली, मध्यम और गंभीर स्तर के रोगियों के एक बड़े वर्ग पर विस्तृत क्लिनिकल जांच जरूरी है।
23124. Amid Shortage of Remdesivir, Himachal-Based Company Gets Licence To Manufacture The Drug
- Dr Reddy’s Laboratories (DRL), a Himachal Pradesh-based drug manufacturing company located in the Baddi-Brotiwala-Nalagarh industrial belt, has got the government’s approval to manufacture antiviral Remdesivir, a drug considered important for the treatment of Covid-19, for emergency use in India.
- Keeping in view the high Covid caseload of the states, the company will supply the drug to Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka and Delhi on a priority basis.
- Apart from DRL, four other companies based in Himachal Pradesh — Cipla, Hetero Labs, Nitin Lifesciences and Jubilant Pharma—are already manufacturing Remdesivir. The Centre has flagged “irrational use” of the Remdesivir drug, urging the hospitals and physicians to judiciously use it for Covid patients only, and those on oxygen support.
23125. रेमडेसिविर इंजेक्शन को लेकर केंद्र ने दी अच्छी खबर, आज से 1.5 लाख वाइल का उत्पादन शुरू
- केंद्रीय रसायन और उर्वरक राज्य मंत्री मनसुख मंडाविया ने कहा है कि देश में रेमडेसिविर इंजेक्शन के उत्पादन में तेजी आए और इसकी कीमतें कम हों, इसके लिए भारत सरकार लगातार कोशिश कर रही है।
- उन्होंने कहा है कि आज से इस दवा की 1.5 लाख वाइल का प्रतिदिन उत्पादन शुरू हो गया है और आने वाले 15 दिनों में इसका उत्पादन बढ़कर रोजाना 3 लाख वाइल हो जाएगा। इसके लिए इसके 20 प्लांट बढ़ाने की भी मंजूरी दी गई है, जिससे यह मौजूदा 20 प्लांट से दोगुनी हो जाएगी।
- उन्होंने कहा है कि सरकार ने रेमडेसिविर की कीमतें कम करने के लिए भी सभी कंपनियों से बातचीत की है, जिसकी वजह से सभी कंपनियों ने अपनी कीमतें घटा दी हैं। यही वजह है कि कल तक इसकी खुदरा कीमतें जो 5,000 रुपये या उससे भी ज्यादा थी, अब वह घटकर 3,500 रुपये से भी कम हो गई है
23126. Philippines to acquire 3 batteries of BrahMos
- The Philippines confirmed on Friday it will acquire three batteries of the BrahMos cruise missile jointly developed by India and Russia in a deal worth almost $375 million, a development expected to boost India’s efforts to become a major exporter of defence hardware.
- The defence deal is unlikely to go down well with China, whose aggressive behaviour in the disputed South China Sea has taken relations with the Philippines to a fresh low. The Philippine Marines intend to use the BrahMos as a shore-based anti-ship missile.
- Philippine defence secretary Delfin Lorenzana said he had recently signed the “notice of award” – or the acceptance of India’s proposal for supplying the missile – for the Philippine Navy’s shore-based anti-ship missile acquisition project. “Negotiated with the Government of India, it includes the delivery of three batteries, training for operators and maintainers as well as the necessary Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) package,” Lorenzana said in a brief post on his Facebook page.

23127. DAC reviews imported equipment plans
- In yet another push towards focusing on indigenously manufactured weapons system for the armed forces, the Defence Acquisitions Council (DAC) on Friday held a special meeting to review some upcoming projects under which equipment would have had been imported.
- The government is reviewing all upcoming Buy (Global) projects under which the weapon systems or other equipment were imported from foreign Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM). The government is pushing the forces to focus on “Atmanirbhar” or equipment manufactured by the domestic industry as much as possible.
- Only certain systems, which are at the cutting edge globally, will be allowed to be imported directly.
23128. Indigenisation of nuts and bolts can’t be a cause for celebration
- A list of 2,500 items already indigenised by the 16 Defence Public Sector Undertakings, including the magnificent seven created last year by corporatizing 41 ordnance factories, was notified on 27th of December 2021 by MoD’s Department of Defence Production (DDP).
- The Press Release circulated by the Press Information Bureau claimed that the list had been notified ‘as (a) part of the efforts to achieve self-reliance in defence manufacturing and minimise imports’ by the DPSUs.
- It sounded very impressive but browsing through the list made the heart sink, for it includes several types of nuts, bolts, screws, bushes, washers, gaskets, pins, hoses, sealing rings, rivets, clamps, plugs, elbows, and jets. In some cases, different sizes of the same item have been listed separately to expand the list.
23129. Bajaj Healthcare launches 'Ivejaj' tablets for COVID treatment
- Bajaj Healthcare announced the launch of its anti-parasitic drug 'Ivejaj', which can be used for treatment of COVID infections. The company has received approval from India's drug regulator DCGI to manufacture and market the tablets, it said in a BSE filing.
- Bajaj Healthcare said it has successfully developed the active pharmaceutical ingredient and the formulation for Ivermectin through its own in-house R&D team.
- The DCGI has granted permissions to supply 'Ivejaj' in the domestic as well as overseas markets, Bajaj Healthcare said.
23130. Why is India willing to buy 2nd hand Mirage and MiG, but not 2nd hand Rafale fighter jets?
- India buys second-hand Mirage 2000 and MiG 29 fighters in large quantities, and will incorporate them into active service to enhance its military strength. In fact, the reality is that India buys second-hand Mirage 2000 and MiG in large quantities every year
- The second-hand fighter is not to expand the size of its fighter squadron, but to provide parts for these Mirage 2000 fighters and MiG 29s in active service. After all, these second-hand fighters are very cheap, and the parts removed from them are not only universal, but also of stable quality. It is more cost-effective, and more importantly, it is more convenient and quick to dismantle where it needs to be.
- Many people may find it inconceivable. Why doesn’t India just retire these Mirage 2000 and MiG 29 fighters, which require frequent replacement of parts, ahead of schedule? It’s not that India doesn’t want to, no country in the world really retires all models overnight.
