Temple, Madhya Pradesh, ASI, Temple reclaimed - The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has reportedly completed a 96-day survey at Bhojshala in Dhar, with the excavation still in progress.
A 27-feet brick wall points to an even older era, possibly Mohenjodaro civilization. ASI to present report to court on 2 July.
Tamil Nadu Assembly adopts resolution for caste-based census.
Tamil Nadu, Politics - Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin moved a resolution in the State Assembly urging the Central Government to immediately commence the census work.
The resolution order mentioned that this House considers caste-based Population Census essential to formulate policies to ensure equal rights.
Calcutta HC Directs State To Ensure Law & Order In Post-Poll Violence Affected Areas
Judiciary : Post Poll Violence :- The Calcutta High Court has directed the West Bengal government to ensure that law and order is restored to areas which were affected in violence which erupted in the aftermath of the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections. Court Asks Centre To Take Steps Including Deploying Armed Forces If Needed.
A division bench of Justices Harish Tandon and Hiranmay Bhattacharya had earlier directed for the State to ensure that those displaced in the violence were provided safe passage back to their native places.

Two cow smugglers shot in encounter in UP.
Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh, Islamic jihad, Gau Taskari - The smugglers were going to Bihar with a consignment of cattle in a truck. In encounter, two cow smugglers were injured by being shot in the legs. Both were identified as Ramchail of Kopia of Bakhira police station of Sant Kabirnagar and Zakrul Ahmed alias Neenak of Mohaddipur of Khalilabad police station.
Police recovered a pistol and cartridges from them. And rescued 20 cows were from the truck.

ISRO :- India's NSIL (NewSpace India Ltd) has signed a contract ($18 million) with an Australian company to launch it's satellite onboard SSLV in 2026, the first ever commercial contract for SSLV rocket.
Drug smuggling gang busted in Surat.
Gujarat, Drug, crime by Muslims - A total of 7 offenders Rabia Bibi Sheikh, Safiq Khan Pathan, Sarfaraz alias Salman, Faisal Kachhara, Yasin Mulla, Ashfaq Sheikh and Syed Asif alias Babu have been arrested by the police. Rabia was the brains behind the operation and she brought the drugs in a school bag.
The police seized 252.34 grams of suspected drugs whose market price is Rs 25,23,400.
40,000 tree saplings to be planted along Dwarka Somnath Coastal Highway.
Gujarat, Environment, Infrastructure - The Gujarat government has signed a MoU with a voluntary organisation, Sadbhavna Vrudhashram, to plant 4,0000 saplings on the sides of Dwarka-Somnath Coastal Highway on a public-private-partnership (PPP) model Under the state government’s Harit Van Path Yojana initiative.
According to the MoU, each plant will cost Rs 3,000 — including its guarding and upkeeping for three years.
Gujarat Government Bans Private Books in State Board Schools
Education :- The Gujarat government has issued a resolution banning the use of private company books in state board schools. From now on, schools must teach only NCERT or GCERT books recognized by CBSE. This decision aims to curb the lucrative business of private publications. Legal action will be taken against schools pressuring students to buy private publications.
Tata Sons to spend Rs 750 crore on building Ayodhya Ram temple museum
Company Initiatives for Temple :- The Uttar Pradesh cabinet, led by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister has approved Tata Sons' proposal to develop the Ram Temple Museum in Ayodhya.
Tata Sons will invest ₹750 crore towards infrastructure, design, and site development for this ambitious project. In exchange, the state government will provide the land on a 90-year lease for a token amount of Re 1.

Kerala HC grants bail to 17 PFI accused in RSS leader murder case.

High Court division bench rejected the bail petitions of nine PFI activists accused in the case citing that there were reasonable grounds to believe the accusations made against them by the NIA were prima facie true.

Anti-Trafficking Law Targets Traffickers, Not Sex Workers: Karnataka HC
Judiciary :- The Karnataka High Court observed that India's anti-trafficking law does not punish sex workers or victims of trafficking who are forced into prostitution.
In a June 10, 2024 ruling, Justice M Nagaprasanna explained that the object of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act (ITPA) is not to punish sex workers but to punish those who traffic women or girls to exploit them through prostitution.

Udhayanidhi furnished a security bond of 5,000 and personal bond for 50,000.
A Bengaluru-based social activist, V Paramesh, had filed a complaint against Udhayanidhi for stating at an event in Chennai in Sept 2023 that sanatana dharma was against social justice and should be "eradicated" like malaria and dengue.

Hindus Under Attack : Attack on Hindus :- The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on 25 June 2024 declared a cash reward of Rs 10 lakh each against two wanted accused in connection with the murder of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Vikas Prabhakar in Punjab.
In a statement, the NIA said that Harjeet Singh alias Ladi, son of Kuldeep Singh, resident of Garpadhana village, Nawanshahr, Punjab, and Kulbir Singh alias Sidhu, son of Sukhwinder Singh, resident of Yamuna Nagar, Police Station Sadar Jagadhri, Haryana, are absconding in a murder case registered on May 9, 2024.
Odisha High Court commutes death sentence to only life imprisionment of Asif Ali
Bias Judiciary : Gems Of Judiciary :- On 20th June 2024, the Orissa High Court commuted the death sentence of Sheikh Asif Ali to life imprisonment from death sentence. Asif is convicted of rape and murder of a six-year-old girl. The court noted in the judgment that Asif was consistently offering Namaz several times a day and he was ready to accept the punishment as “he has surrendered before God”. The court took his readiness to accept his punishment as a sign of remorse and potential to reform.

Crime Against Women : Love Jihad :- उत्तर प्रदेश के गाजियाबाद जिले में एक हिन्दू महिला से रेप और अप्राकृतिक दुष्कर्म का मामला सामने आया । बाल-बच्चेदार पीड़िता की कुछ मामलों को ले कर अपने पति से अनबन चल रही थी। इस बीच उसका परिचय शाह आलम नाम के व्यक्ति से हुआ। शाह आलम ने अपना परिचय साहिल के तौर पर बताया था। बाद में उसने शादी का झाँसा दे कर पीड़िता से 7-8 वर्षों तक रेप और कुकर्म किया। बाद में वह अपने वादे से मुकरने लगा। उसने पीड़िता की हत्या की भी धमकी दी। पुलिस ने मामले में 24 जून 2024 को FIR दर्ज कर शाह आलम को हिरासत में ले लिया गया है।
